Volume 13, Chapter 816 – Gardens Everywhere
In order to survive, the Flying Corpse General had no choice but to reveal the method for using the teleportation gate to Qi Huang and Cheng Hongling.
This teleportation gate wasn’t operated by hand alone, it required a special type of crossbow, fully named the “Teleportation Gate Activating Crossbow”. This device could shrink the teleportation gate and store it within. When needed, all one had to do was infuse it with gold-element True Qi and fire it in a specific direction. The more True Qi used, the farther it could be sent. The principle was the same as shooting an ordinary crossbow bolt.
Qi Huang ordered the general to hand over the Activating Crossbow. After she had mastered its use, she killed the general in order to eliminate any risk of exposure.
“It’s been more than half a year. It’s time to go back,” Qi Huang said contentedly.
“I wonder how things are on Lishui Planet or Yin Planet,” Cheng Hongling said with some concern.
“Don’t worry. I took care of all the loose ends before leaving. Plus, we have doppelgängers stationed there. There won’t be any problems,” Qi Huang assured her with certainty.
Then the “husband and wife” used the teleportation gate to return to the space rift where Cangmang Planet was located. Qi Huang took out the Activating Crossbow and pressed the “Store” button. To her astonishment, the two teleportation gates instantly shrank to the width of two fingers and were sucked back into the crossbow.
“That storage speed is insane. One of those gates was on a different star system altogether,” Qi Huang exclaimed in awe.
“Yeah. Even light speed couldn’t manage something like that. It must be infused with powerful space laws,” Cheng Hongling quickly deduced.
“Let’s test it and see,” Qi Huang agreed.
She pulled out a talisman, a high-grade Spirit-Gathering Talisman she had obtained from the Flying Corpse General. It contained gold-element True Qi at the Immortal level, which was necessary to activate the teleportation gate.

Qi Huang used the talisman to infuse the crossbow with a certain amount of gold-element True Qi. She then aimed at the defensive perimeter of Lishui Planet and pulled the trigger. A teleportation gate, nine meters tall, appeared instantly in front of her, while its pair shot off into the distance.
Qi Huang observed carefully. The flying gate’s speed didn’t seem particularly fast, but it compressed the space ahead, achieving a sort of instant-travel effect. In the blink of an eye, it vanished from sight.
“It really is infused with space laws,” Qi Huang said in wonder.
By the time she finished speaking, the gate before them had already activated. The space within began to collapse inward, forming a massive vortex.
“We’ve been out long enough. Time to head back,” Qi Huang said with a touch of emotion. With a thought, her doppelgänger, Huang Li, appeared before her.
“Huang Li, I’m assigning you a task. Guard this place and ensure the space rift remains stable,” Qi Huang ordered succinctly.
“Yes, Big Sister,” Huang Li responded respectfully.
With that, Qi Huang led Cheng Hongling into the teleportation gate. She wanted to maintain this rift because it was far safer to gather resources from a lower-tier world than in the cultivation realm or immortal realm.
The next moment, Qi Huang’s vision blurred, and Lishui Planet appeared before her. She was instantly thrilled. “This thing is way too convenient. We spent months flying out, and now it takes just a blink to return.”
“Yeah, but it’s a shame that it requires Immortal-grade gold-element True Qi to activate. We don’t have many of those talismans left. Once we use them up, we’ll have to risk going to the Immortal Realm to buy more,” Cheng Hongling said rationally, pointing out the downside.
“No need to go to the Immortal Realm,” Qi Huang said as she pulled out a storage ring. “Don’t you remember? There’s still a little zombie inside this ring. He definitely knows that demoness Yang Jie’s troop deployments. We’ll just ‘zero-cost shop’ directly from them.”

“My clever husband sure knows how to pinch a penny,” Cheng Hongling teased.
“What can I say? Poverty’s a strong motivator,” Qi Huang sighed.
The “couple” returned to Lishui Planet, and to Cheng Hongling’s surprise, even though they had been gone for over half a year, the planet was still peaceful, perhaps even more harmonious than before. Everyone had accepted the Dao Alliance’s leadership.
Cheng Hongling looked at Qi Huang, a flash of admiration in her eyes. She knew this stability was all thanks to her beloved. If Qi Huang hadn’t tied up every loose end so thoroughly, Lishui Planet wouldn’t be what it was today.
Once back, the two wasted no time. Qi Huang collected the ripe Ghost Tomatoes to enhance her Divine Sense, while using the Doppelgänger Method to help her beloved improve her cultivation.
A month later, Cheng Hongling finally reached the Immortal stage. With the protection of the Assimilation Domain, she could continue to remain in the cultivation realm without issue.
The pair set out once more, this time heading straight into the lower-tier world connected to Cangmang Planet to search for resources. With the teleportation gate at their disposal, they mapped new areas at speeds hundreds of times faster than before, and their search radius expanded exponentially.
Qi Huang had thought she’d quickly skyrocket in power, but she soon realized that not only was the spiritual energy in this world thin, even the Yin energy was sparse. There were barely any Ghost Tomatoes to be found. Still, it wasn’t a total loss. Relying on information provided by Cai Tao, she and Cheng Hongling wiped out most of the demonic strongholds in this world, obtaining hundreds of gold-element Spirit-Gathering Talismans and absorbing additional Assimilation energy.
“This won’t do. We can’t waste any more time here. The lower world may be safe, but it’s resource-poor. We’re just wasting time,” Cheng Hongling voiced her dissatisfaction. These things couldn’t be converted into immediate combat power. Ultimately, Ghost Tomatoes remained their top priority.
“Alright, let’s return to the cultivation realm for resources,” Qi Huang agreed, unwilling to keep idling around. She brought Cheng Hongling back through the space rift.
“What’s wrong?” Cheng Hongling asked curiously.

“First, Cangmang Planet is already on the radar of the evil forces. We didn’t completely eliminate them… what if that demoness sends more of her troops? Second, though the spiritual energy here is thin, the environment is almost identical to Lishui Planet. It’s a ready-made garden. Not using it to grow Ghost Tomatoes would be a complete waste,” Qi Huang explained.
“So what’s your plan?” Cheng Hongling asked, intrigued.
After some thought, Qi Huang turned to Huang Li, who was guarding the spacial rift. “Huang Li!”
“Yes, Big Sister?” Huang Li flew over and asked respectfully.
“These are the Ghost Tomatoes I’ve gathered, probably several hundred thousand. Once you use them, you should be able to reach the Immortal stage,” Qi Huang said, handing over a storage ring.
“I can’t possibly accept this,” Huang Li said nervously.
“Take it. You’re my sister, I can’t expect the horse to run without feeding it,” Qi Huang insisted, pushing the ring into her hands.
“Then… thank you, Big Sister,” Huang Li said, deeply moved.
“No need to thank me. I’ve got another task for you. After you use up the Ghost Tomatoes, take the seeds to Cangmang Planet. Tell the locals that if they want elixirs, they’ll have to grow Ghost Tomatoes in exchange. Set the exchange rate yourself, understood?” Qi Huang stated her plan.
“Yes, Big Sister!” Huang Li bowed in agreement.
“This is the antidote to the Ghost Tomato’s toxins, along with fertilizer. I’ll supply you regularly in the future. Just remember, strictly control the planting area. Never harm ordinary people,” Qi Huang warned.

“Understood!” Huang Li took the storage ring and bowed again.
“And one last thing, always monitor the situation on Cangmang Planet. If the evil forces attack again, notify me immediately.”
After carefully reminding her of all the key details, Qi Huang set off again with Cheng Hongling, this time targeting the various star systems within the cultivation realm.
Their decision proved wise. Just half a month later, they discovered an uninhabited planet filled with Ghost Tomatoes.
Qi Huang lunged at the place like a starved beast, rolling around in the tomato fields with glee like a child. She knew that once she absorbed all of them, her Divine Sense would advance by a major level.
It took her several days to finish absorbing every Ghost Tomato. Her Divine Sense had now reached the level of a Kinship-grade Immortal.
Qi Huang collected all the Ghost Tomato seeds into a storage ring. Only then, satisfied, did she continue her journey with Cheng Hongling. She named this planet “Yin Planet No. 2”, designating it as one of her backup gardens. It was only a backup because there were no locals to tend the fields. That would have to wait until she found new hands.
A few days later, the pair finally discovered a habitable planet, Kaiyuan Planet.
Qi Huang scanned it with her Divine Sense and found that the environment was nearly identical to Lishui Planet. It had many cultivators, and a massive number of evil entities. The Yin energy was so dense that wild Ghost Tomatoes could even be found in the wilderness.
“Aren’t these exactly the kind of people I need?” Qi Huang exclaimed with excitement. If she could bring this planet under her control, she could run it just like Lishui Planet, relocating all the evil forces to Yin Planet No. 2 to help grow her crops.
