Volume 13, Chapter 842 – I Am Zhong Zhen
Peng Shu stole a glance at Qi Huang in the midst of the chaos and barked, “Get lost! Don’t get in the way.”
“Hurry back! What are you going over there for?”
Yuan Xin rushed forward to drag Qi Huang back, but quickly discovered that no matter how much force she used, she couldn’t move the seemingly delicate girl in the Unity Realm. Her expression instantly turned to one of stunned disbelief.
Qi Huang shook her head helplessly. ‘Being too strong isn’t always a good thing,’ she thought. ‘It even makes showing off feel awkward.’ Not bothering to explain, her powerful divine sense surged outward, instantly immobilizing Peng Shu where he stood, and slowly dragged him to her.
“Now, can you take a good look at this immortal cultivator?” she said coldly.
“Hiss—!”
Yuan Xin sucked in a sharp breath and let go of Qi Huang, her right hand going limp.
The onlookers’ minds went blank, instinctively backing away.
Zeng Xiao stood frozen in place… not because he didn’t want to escape, but because his legs no longer obeyed.
Peng Shu’s pupils trembled as he stared at Qi Huang, the corners of his mouth twitching in shock. “You… you…”
“To be honest, I had no interest in interfering with you killing those fiendish specters. That’s your business, not mine. But unfortunately, you made three unforgivable mistakes. First, you accused me of being a traitor to the Immortal Alliance. That alone put me in a foul mood. Second, you tried to keep me here, which delayed something extremely important. Third, and worst of all, you intended to kill them.” She glanced at the hundred-plus mole-marked girls nearby. “That crossed my bottom line.”
“You… who exactly are you?” Peng Shu asked in terror.
“You’re a dead man. What does it matter if you know?”
Qi Huang intensified her divine sense, pressing down on Peng Shu like a mountain.
“AHHH—!”
Peng Shu let out a bloodcurdling scream. Fine cracks split open across his pale skin, and thick black zombie blood spurted out wildly under the crushing pressure. Bones cracked and snapped with crisp sounds, his entire body rapidly deforming.
SPLAT!
Moments later, Peng Shu’s body collapsed under the strain, falling apart into a mess of flesh and blood, smeared across the ground.
The onlookers in the tent were so terrified their very souls trembled. Not a single one dared take a step forward.

Thud!
Zeng Xiao’s mental defenses completely crumbled. His knees gave out, and he collapsed to the ground.
Yuan Xin stood there like a statue, staring at Qi Huang with wide eyes full of fear and confusion.
Qi Huang ignored them. Her divine sense swept through the entire camp and quickly found the Teleportation Gate Activation Crossbow and several Human-Immortal grade Qi-Gathering Talismans. Without hesitation, she pulled them over with her will.
Qi Huang caught the items mid-air, putting the crossbow straight into her spatial ring. This device could control teleportation gates, crucial for interstellar travel, so of course she wanted it for herself.
She then held a Qi-Gathering Talisman in front of Zeng Xiao and said impatiently, “I’ve already handled that eyesore for you. Isn’t it time to move out?”
Zeng Xiao glanced at her nervously, stammering, “Y-you… what do you… intend to do?”
“Don’t ask what you shouldn’t. Just follow the plan and get us back to Wuwu Planet. Otherwise, I won’t mind appointing a new leader among the fiendish specters.”
Qi Huang’s tone was sharp and threatening.
“Y-yes… yes…”
Zeng Xiao didn’t dare say a word more. He trembled as he took the talisman from her.
As for Wei Zhuo, the old fool shrank into a corner, desperately trying to avoid being noticed.
But Qi Huang wasn’t going to let him off the hook so easily. Now that her power was revealed, she had no reason to let this clown continue to annoy her.
Her figure vanished and reappeared directly in front of Wei Zhuo.
“W-what are you doing?”
Wei Zhuo panicked, stumbling backward. This woman had just killed a zombie at the Human-stage Demon realm using divine sense alone… he, a mere Flying Corpse, had zero sense of security.
“What do you think I’m doing?”
There was a malicious glint in Qi Huang’s eyes. With a thought, a green veil appeared in her hand.

“Remember this veil?” she asked, holding up the embroidered peony-patterned fabric. Since she had taken a Voice-Altering Pill, he wouldn’t recognize her by sound alone.
Wei Zhuo stared at the veil in confusion for a moment. Suddenly, his face twisted in horror. He stumbled back, stammering, “You… you’re…”
“Glad you recognized me. Now you won’t die ignorant like that other zombie,” Qi Huang sneered.
Wei Zhuo didn’t even try to resist. He stomped the ground and lunged for the tent’s entrance.
Qi Huang’s thought sent the Cicada Wing Sword flying in a flash. Then, without looking back, she turned and walked away.
SWISH!
A flash of blue sword light streaked through the air. The next instant, Wei Zhuo’s head detached from his body, and his corpse crumpled to the ground like a rag doll.
Seeing this, not one of the surrounding “people” dared breathe. They stood there like criminals awaiting judgment.
“Yuan Xin, don’t be afraid. I’m Zhong Zhen,” Qi Huang said via Soul Resonance.
“Zh-zhong Zhen?”
Yuan Xin was stunned. The name sounded familiar. She thought it over carefully, then her eyes widened in shock. “Zhong Zhen? The immortal ancestor from Lingxi Sect?!”
“Yes. I am that ancestor from Lingxi Sect.”
Qi Huang could only confirm it again with a sigh.
“No wonder… No wonder you’re so powerful!”
Yuan Xin’s expression became visibly emotional. It felt as if she’d been dragged out of hell and placed in heaven. The overwhelming relief made her sob; tears of joy, naturally.
“Don’t just stand there. Let’s move. If any fiendish specter dares stop us, I’ll deal with it.”
Qi Huang gave another order to Zeng Xiao.
“Yes, yes, of course…”

Zeng Xiao, now desperate to stay alive, didn’t care about picking sides anymore. He jumped to his feet and led the way.
“Everyone listen up! Stick with the group and keep your mouths shut unless I say otherwise. If anyone disobeys, don’t blame me for what happens next.”
Qi Huang gave a stern warning to the mole-marked girls. This was the Immortal Realm, unexpected dangers could arise at any time. Survival depended on discipline.
The mole-marked girls nodded one after another. Not one dared object.
Soon, the group left the tent. Outside, the rest of the camp was unaware of what had happened and was just staring blankly at each other.
“Move out!”
Zeng Xiao gave orders to the more than a thousand subordinates waiting nearby, acting as if nothing had happened.
These fiendish specters were so hungry their stomachs were glued to their backs. All they wanted was to return to Wuwu Planet and enjoy themselves, so they scrambled to their feet and got moving.
The local fiendish specters could only stare in confusion. None of them knew their commander was already dead.
Yuan Xin stayed close to Qi Huang. Though surrounded by fiendish specters, she felt safer than being held in her mother’s arms.
“Immortal One, no wonder you killed Wei Zhuo. He wanted to contact that demon to deal with you. That would have been like inviting a wolf into the house. If it were me, I’d have killed him too,” Yuan Xin said via Soul Resonance, finally understanding what had happened.
“Exactly. If the journey weren’t so long, I’d have killed him even sooner,” Qi Huang replied.
“Immortal One, may I be so bold as to ask. What is your purpose this time?”
Yuan Xin asked cautiously.
“Same as you. If we don’t completely destroy that demon, Kaiyuan Planet will never know peace. That’s why I infiltrated the mole-marked girls.”
Qi Huang answered with righteous clarity.
Yuan Xin was instantly filled with awe. Then, guilt spread across her face. “I’m sorry, Immortal One… I misunderstood you.”
“What are you apologizing for all of a sudden?” Qi Huang asked, puzzled.

“Immortal One, when we were first taken by the fiendish specters, I thought you’d abandoned us. I never imagined you were playing the long game. I judged a noble soul with the heart of a petty person…”
Yuan Xin looked extremely ashamed.
“It’s fine. It’s not too late to clear things up now,” Qi Huang said graciously.
Yuan Xin’s respect for her grew even deeper upon hearing this.
Meanwhile, several local commanders finally entered the tent where the mole-marked girls had been resting. There, they found only a pile of bloody mush, and no sign of their general. Realizing something was wrong, they quickly led troops to pursue the group.
“Where’s our general?” one deputy commander demanded of Zeng Xiao.
Zeng Xiao glanced at Qi Huang nervously, then said evasively, “I don’t know.”
“You don’t know? You expect us to believe that? The general was just with you in that tent, why is he gone now?”
The deputy pressed relentlessly.
“What do you mean ‘gone’? I left you a puddle of him, didn’t I?” Qi Huang said with a cold smile.
“You what? You dare kill the general? Are you tired of living?!”
The deputy was filled with fury, not realizing how close he was to death. If she could kill Peng Shu, ending him would be even easier.
“Too noisy.”
Qi Huang’s thought summoned the Cicada Wing Sword from her ring, and it began ruthlessly harvesting the lives of the local fiendish specters.
Within just a few dozen breaths, Qi Huang had eliminated thousands of local specters. Her group faced no resistance and arrived smoothly in front of the teleportation gate.
Zeng Xiao obediently inserted the Qi-Gathering Talisman into the slot above the gate. As the space inside began to collapse inward, the teleportation gate activated.
“Wuwu Planet… we’re finally about to arrive.”
Qi Huang gazed at the gate, her heart heavy and conflicted. If that demon really was after her, then what awaited was endless, unrelenting trouble.
