Volume 13, Chapter 866 – If You Want Revenge, Then Help Me Grow Vegetables
“Don’t panic. That Sea Queen is dead, but what about the fragments of her heart?”
Cheng Hongling asked.
Qi Huang paused for a moment, then replied, “You’re still looking for those heart fragments?”
“Of course I am. Hurry and take me to them. If we’re too late, we’ll miss our chance.”
Cheng Hongling urged anxiously.
Qi Huang shook her head helplessly. With a flick of her will, four fragments of a heart appeared in her pale, delicate palm. “I found these on her corpse.”
“There are actually four pieces!”
Cheng Hongling snatched them away in excitement, then smiled with satisfaction. “With the three I already have, that makes seven now.”
“You’ve been collecting Lu Yao’s heart fragments all this time… Don’t tell me you actually plan to use them?”
Qi Huang could no longer hold back and asked directly.
“How could I possibly? I’m just gathering them so they don’t fall into the hands of other evil entities, that’s all.”
Cheng Hongling denied it without hesitation.
Qi Huang remained skeptical but didn’t press the issue further.
Next, Qi Huang went to find Qianqian to inquire about the secret technique. To avoid unnecessary trouble, Cheng Hongling obediently hid herself in the spatial ring.
When Qi Huang found Qianqian, the cat-eared little girl was interrogating Aunt Hong with a group of high-ranking evil generals.
Upon seeing Qi Huang, none of the evil spirits showed hostility. After all, she had been staying in the Queen of the Underworld’s palace for nearly a month now. Everyone had either seen her in person or at least heard of her.
“Your Highness, please spare me! I’ll never dare to do it again!”
Aunt Hong knelt at Qianqian’s feet, sobbing and begging for mercy.
Qianqian’s small face was twisted in struggle. She was kind by nature and knew Aunt Hong had her reasons, so she found it difficult to strike. But when she thought about her betrayed mother, resentment surged in her heart.
“Your Highness, you can’t let her go! What about the Queen’s great revenge?”
Duan Qing urged anxiously at the side.
“Because of her betrayal, we lost many brothers and sisters in the battle. Who will avenge them?”
“That’s right. She may have had her reasons, but that’s no excuse to betray us.”
“Your Highness, if a traitor like her isn’t severely punished, it’ll chill everyone’s hearts. How will you command respect in the future?”

The surrounding generals all stepped forward with advice.
Qianqian’s small face tightened even more. She glanced around helplessly and, upon seeing Qi Huang, immediately rushed forward as if she had grasped a life-saving rope.
“Sister, what should I do?”
She clutched Qi Huang’s hand and asked helplessly.
“Qianqian, do you think she’s a bad person?”
Qi Huang didn’t answer but asked in return.
“Of course she is! She betrayed the Minghou Planet, got my mother and so many siblings killed. She’s a terrible person.”
Qianqian answered without hesitation, but then her expression hesitated again. “But… she did it for her son…”
“Qianqian, are you saying you’re worse than a bad person?”
Qi Huang suddenly cut in.
“Sister, what do you mean?”
Qianqian asked in grievance.
“That bad person was at least willing to risk everything for her son. But you… you can’t even bring yourself to kill the person who caused your mother’s death. Doesn’t that make you worse than her?”
Qi Huang questioned sharply… not with any grand moral arguments, but simply by stoking the natural competitiveness of a child.
“Sister, I understand now.”
Qianqian’s expression instantly cleared of hesitation. In a flash, her figure vanished from where she stood.
Not far away, Aunt Hong’s body trembled. Her head rolled cleanly off her shoulders.
“Long live Her Highness the Princess!”
The soldiers immediately erupted in high spirits, dropping to their knees in unison and shouting in reverence.
Qi Huang smiled with satisfaction. For both Qianqian and herself, the traitor had to die.
With the crisis on the Minghou Planet finally resolved, it became clear that Qianqian was still too young and didn’t understand how to manage post-battle affairs. Fortunately, she had a few loyal subordinates to rely on.
Qi Huang took Qianqian to a temporary princess residence and began asking about the so-called “secret technique”.
“Sister, it’s not a secret technique. It’s a Heavenly Bone.”

Qianqian explained without hesitation.
“Heavenly Bone? What’s that?”
Qi Huang asked, confused.
“Immortal bones are the bones of immortals. So naturally, Heavenly Bones are the bones of Celestials.”
Qianqian summarized first, then elaborated gently: “I come from a powerful clan of Nine Nether Demon Cats in the Immortal Realm. One of our ancestors became a Celestial. When he ascended, he embedded one of his bones into the body of one of his descendants. Over generations, it was passed down through our bloodline. I was lucky enough to be the only one in my generation to inherit that Immortal Bone.”
“I see. But why did he put the bone in his child’s body? Did it offer some benefit?”
Qi Huang speculated.
“Yes. That bone carries our ancestor’s insights into the Law of Time. Whoever inherits it may one day comprehend that same heaven-defying law as an immortal.”
Qianqian explained.
“The Law of Time?”
Qi Huang’s eyes widened in shock.
“Yep. The Laws of Time and Space can only be wielded by Celestials. Whoever can comprehend them has a chance of becoming the most powerful being in the Immortal Realm.”
Qianqian spoke calmly.
“So… have you comprehended it?”
Qi Huang asked with curiosity.
“Yes, just a little. But once the Immortals found out, they couldn’t tolerate it. Sister, you know there’s long-standing enmity between the Nine Nether Demon Cats and cultivators. To prevent any surprises, many powerful immortals joined forces to exterminate my clan, crushing us in our cradle. If I could choose again, I’d rather never have inherited that Immortal Bone.”
As she spoke, tears began to stream down Qianqian’s face again.
“Ah… poor child.”
Qi Huang sighed, emotions welling up inside her.
“Thankfully, I became a zombie after dying, and Mother took me in under her wing. But now she’s dead too, and I have no family left. I’m just a burden… Waaa…”
Qianqian burst into sobs again. For someone her age, all of this was just too cruel.
“It’s alright. From now on, Sister will be your family.”
Qi Huang couldn’t bear it anymore and pulled her into a hug.

Qianqian curled up in Qi Huang’s arms and wept, her body shaking from the force of it.
“By the way, you haven’t told me yet.Why did your Heavenly Bone suddenly cause all of us to grow stronger?”
After a long while, Qi Huang finally asked the now-calmer cat-eared girl.
“Father once told me that if I ever found myself with no way out, I should shatter the Heavenly Bone with my mind. That would speed up time for everyone around me, making me become my future self from ten years later, boosting my power massively.”
Qianqian explained while wiping her tears.
“What?”
Qi Huang was stunned. After standing there dazed for a few seconds, she asked cautiously, “So what you’re saying is… Sister became her ten-years-older self?”
“I don’t know… I just remember what Father told me.”
Qianqian answered in confusion.
“No wonder my strength exploded all of a sudden… Turns out I’ve already become my future self ten years from now.”
Qi Huang murmured, everything feeling surreal.
“Sister won’t be mad at me, right? Mother once said that women care a lot about their age…”
Qianqian said timidly.
Qi Huang chuckled to herself. Her mood slowly stabilized as she replied, “Women do fear aging, but they fear death even more. So you did the right thing.”
“Really?”
Qianqian’s frown began to ease.
“Of course it’s true.”
Qi Huang confirmed, muttering inwardly, ‘Not like I’m a full woman anyway.’ Then she asked, “Oh right, can your Heavenly Bone be repaired?”
“Nope. Father said it couldn’t be fixed, otherwise he wouldn’t have told me to only use it when there’s no other choice.”
Qianqian bit her little finger and replied.
“Sigh…”
Qi Huang was disappointed, but quickly came to terms with it. Without the Heavenly Bone, she wouldn’t have survived this ordeal, much less grown this powerful. People must learn to be content.
“Qianqian, what are your plans next?”

Qi Huang asked after a moment of thought. She had been gone from home for far too long and needed to return soon.
“I don’t know. Sister, what do you think I should do?”
Qianqian looked lost.
Qi Huang thought for a bit. The Minghou Planet was currently leaderless… now was the perfect time to make her move. Still, she didn’t want to just exploit Qianqian; she also needed to establish some authority.
“Here’s the plan. First, send people to investigate and see what really happened on Baofeng Planet. Confirm whether your mother is truly dead.”
Qi Huang instructed.
“Okay.”
Qianqian nodded obediently, then bit her lip and said, “If she’s really dead, I’ll kill that Ziji Immortal Emperor and avenge her.”
“Qianqian, I know you want revenge, but don’t be reckless. If that Immortal Emperor could kill your mother, he’s far beyond what you can handle right now. We must focus on growing stronger first.”
Qi Huang advised her patiently.
“But Sister is so powerful, and even you can’t beat him?”
Qianqian asked with a trace of hope.
“Heh…”
Qi Huang smiled awkwardly and shook her head. As far as she knew, Immortal Emperors in the Immortal Realm were usually at the Heavenly Immortal realm. She was just a crippled Earth Immortal… how could she possibly fight him? At the very least, her Divine Sense would need to reach the peak of the Heavenly Immortal stage to stand a chance.
“But I lost the Heavenly Bone. I don’t know how long it’ll take before I’m strong enough to beat that Ziji Immortal Emperor. Sister, do you remember what the Sea Queen said? That Immortal Emperor put my mother’s body on display at the city gate for everyone to see. I want to get her back as soon as possible.”
Qianqian said, rubbing her big eyes.
“How about this… help Sister with something, and I’ll retrieve your mother’s body within ten years.”
Qi Huang took the opportunity to make a request.
“Okay! What do you need my help with, Sister?”
Qianqian asked eagerly.
“If you want revenge, then help me grow vegetables.”
Qi Huang said, taking out a spatial ring.
