Qianqian softly reminded from the side.

Qi Huang defended herself stubbornly before asking Duan Qing again: “Duan Qing, do you know where their lair is? Can you give me a guide?”

After confirming the nebula’s precise coordinates, Qi Huang activated her teleportation gate and set off.

“My Lady National Preceptor,” the agent reported, “I’ve only heard that for centuries, the Fox Queen ordered the cultivation of ghost tomatoes across more than a dozen planets. As for the exact positions of each one… I don’t know.”

The agent suggested.

The agent warned.

At that moment, the Fox Princess was imprisoned inside her own bedchamber. She was stunningly beautiful, her skin fair as frost and snow, with three snow-white tails swaying behind her, a mark of a Demon of the Noble class. “Where has Li Xin gone? When will he release this Princess?”

The Fox Princess paced anxiously in the grand hall, her fluffy tails dragging along the floor. The Li Xin she spoke of was once the Great General of Huhou Planet… and now, its strongest warrior.

“Your Highness, we must find a way to escape before he returns! Once he does, it will be the time of your death.”

An undead eunuch beside her urged nervously.

“He would kill me? Impossible. Didn’t he say he locked me up to protect me?”

The Fox Princess parted her red lips in doubt.

The eunuch fell to his knees in earnest devotion.

The Fox Princess shook her head, refusing gently.

“General!”

Just then, loud voices echoed from outside, as soldiers dropped to their knees.

“Open the gate. This general wishes to see Her Highness.”

A rough, hoarse voice followed.

“Yes, sir!”

The guards obeyed, swinging the grand doors open. A burly figure stepped in.

The man’s frame was massive, his armor bulging over his muscles. A pair of wolf ears sprouted from his head, and a thick black wolf tail swayed behind him, each bristle sharp as steel needles… terrifying to behold.

“Your Highness, this subordinate has eliminated all the rebels.”

The wolf demon general approached with an imposing air. He didn’t even bow, showing no respect at all.

“You’ve worked hard, General Li. Once I ascend, I’ll reward you handsomely.”

The Fox Princess spoke sincerely.

“Hehe, and how does Your Highness plan to reward me?”

The Princess asked curiously.

Li Xin’s gaze swept over her voluptuous figure greedily. “What if I want you?”

The Fox Princess gasped in horror and backed away several steps.

“How dare you show such disrespect to Her Highness!”

The old eunuch scolded fearlessly.

“Disrespect? You’re mistaken. I’m giving her a chance to live.”

Li Xin remained calm, explaining patiently: “The Fox Queen may have been weak and indecisive, but she was good at winning hearts. She had many loyal followers. If I want to rule this planet, I must kill you first.”

Upon hearing that, the Princess’s face turned ashen. She murmured, “So you really do harbor treacherous ambitions… Why didn’t you kill me earlier then?”

“Because I couldn’t bear to.”

Li Xin’s expression grew lecherous. “You are the most beautiful woman on Huhou Planet. Unless absolutely necessary, what man would willingly destroy such beauty? Luckily, I’ve thought of a perfect solution: marrying you. That way, I can win over the Sea Queen’s loyalists and keep you alive.”

The Princess bit her lip, trembling as she cursed him.

“Retribution? The world only respects the strong, not karma.”

Li Xin sneered, then barked to the servants: “All of you, out! Today I’ll give Her Highness a lesson in survival; the law of the jungle.”

The servants stammered as they rushed out.

The old eunuch screamed in terror, desperately trying to cover the wounds, but with only two hands, he was powerless. His body grew thinner and thinner.

The Fox Princess cried out, rushing to help, but she too was helpless. She could only watch as Eunuch Zhao shriveled into a sheet of skin.

The Princess collapsed to the floor, sobbing uncontrollably.

Li Xin approached smugly.

The Princess dragged her fluffy tails backward in fear.
