Volume 14, Chapter 936 – The Incurable Red Mole
The Law of Time is the most mysterious among the myriad laws across all worlds. Once mastered, it allows one to transform into any version of themselves from any point in their life. Soaring to the heavens or regaining youth is nothing more than a matter of course. This is precisely why everyone covets it; from celestial immortals to ordinary mortals, none can resist its allure.
Of course, since everyone’s aptitude differs, the effects of the Law of Time vary as well. For instance, fast-forwarding a hundred years for a genius would undoubtedly result in a peerless powerhouse, while for an average cultivator, the gains might be far more limited.
Qi Huang was excited precisely because the speed at which she and her two wives were growing stronger already far surpassed that of so-called geniuses. Even she had no idea how powerful her future self would become in a few centuries.
“So, how do you plan to get your hands on that chaotic corpse? Just rob the Xi family outright?”
Life Soul Cheng Hongling asked curiously.
“Young Mistress, let me go. I’ll show them what a real bandit looks like.”
An Xuan volunteered enthusiastically.
“No, if we snatch it directly, then it becomes stolen goods. I’m the kind of person who likes doing things with a clear conscience.”
Qi Huang quickly waved her off.
“You want to obtain the chaotic corpse through a legitimate method? Then your only option is to approach the Han family. After all, they’re the rightful owners.”
Zombie Cheng Hongling suggested.
“That’s exactly what I was thinking.”
Qi Huang nodded repeatedly. After a brief moment of thought, she said, “Alright, you all stay here for now. I’ll find a way to infiltrate the Han family and see if there’s anything they need that I can provide. If so, we can just trade directly.”
The three women all nodded, then urged her to be careful.
“Don’t worry. In this tiny cultivation world, there’s nothing that could threaten me.”

Qi Huang reassured them, then vanished on the spot.
Not long after, Qi Huang arrived in Nanshan City, located in the Changzhi Kingdom, home of the Han family.
Qi Huang spent an entire day observing near the Han residence and discovered that the Han family’s eldest daughter had recently been walking around with a troubled expression. The reason? Old Man Han was planning to sneak into the Xi family and steal someone else’s mother. Naturally, this filled her heart with worry.
Upon learning this, Qi Huang chuckled. From what she knew, the Xi family on Tianyan Planet was even stronger than the Han family. If Old Man Han was truly betting everything on this reckless move, he could end up dragging his entire family into a perilous situation. And that would be her moment to shine.
Thinking this far, Qi Huang decided to wait patiently for Old Man Han to fall flat on his face. But soon after, she discovered another issue: the Xi family had been eyeing Han Yurou all along. They intended to kidnap her and turn her into a breeding tool, so they had dispatched numerous spies into Nanshan City. These agents were now hiding in the shadows, waiting for the right opportunity.
“How amusing. Both sides are targeting a member of the other’s family. Wonder who’ll succeed first.”
Qi Huang smirked, but soon furrowed her brows. She realized she needed a backup plan. If Han Qianyang, that old fox, actually came out on top, her whole “savior” act would be meaningless, and she’d lose her leverage to trade. What then?
With that in mind, Qi Huang decided to approach Han Yurou and later stage a “hero saves beauty” scenario. That way, even if Han Qianyang managed to secure the chaotic corpse, she might still benefit from the situation.
With the plan in place, Qi Huang set her sights on getting close to Han Yurou.
After some thought, a clever idea came to her, and she immediately went to stake out the area outside the Han residence.
One morning, Han Yurou left the residence with two handmaidens and entered a nearby medical clinic. Apparently, in addition to cultivation, she also practiced medicine there, treating common folk with difficult ailments. It was one of the ways she contributed to the family.
Qi Huang rushed in first. After all, the Great Purge was drawing near, and she didn’t have time to waste.
“This young lady? Is there somewhere you’re feeling unwell?”
Han Yurou looked Qi Huang up and down.

‘Young lady? This immortal is over three hundred years old. I could be your great-grandmother several times over.’
Qi Huang complained inwardly, then said, “Doctor Han, I came here to seek treatment for the red mole on my face. I’ve already visited countless renowned physicians, tried all kinds of so-called miracle pills and ointments, but nothing has worked.”
After speaking, she removed the veil from her face. Now that the immediate danger was gone, there was no need to keep it hidden.
Han Yurou leaned in to carefully examine the mark, then asked, “Was this red mole present since birth, or did it appear later?”
“It appeared later.”
Qi Huang answered after brief consideration. Though it was inherited through her bloodline, for her, it did manifest later in life.
Han Yurou asked a few more questions, then fell into deep thought. Not long after, she prescribed several medicinal formulas; some for internal use, some for external application.
“Doctor Han, will this really work?”
Qi Huang feigned a hopeful expression as she asked.
“You dare question our young lady? She’s the number one genius of the cultivation world. Using immortal methods to treat a little stain like this is child’s play.”
One of the handmaidens scolded immediately.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to doubt Fairy Han. It’s just… I need to go on a matchmaking meeting soon, and I really want this healed within a month. If Fairy Han can make that happen, I’ll repay you with everything I have!”
Qi Huang bowed her head like a timid maiden.
“In that much of a hurry?”

Han Yurou frowned slightly, then said, “Alright. Go home and observe for four to five days. If the color lightens, it means the medicine is working. If you finish the full prescription I gave you, the red mole should disappear. But if there’s no change after four or five days, come back to the clinic.”
“Understood. Thank you, Fairy Han.”
Qi Huang put on an elated expression and quickly left the clinic.
Once outside, she tossed the medicine into her spatial ring. She never intended to actually cure the blood-stain on her face. After all, it was the source of Zombie Cheng Hongling’s power. Besides, she didn’t believe some low-tier cultivation-world remedy could possibly work.
And so, unsurprisingly, five days later, nothing had changed.
Qi Huang returned to the clinic and tearfully reported that the medicine had been useless, which immediately caused a huge stir.
“No way! Fairy Han uses immortal formulas and spirit medicine. I’ve never heard of her failing to cure someone before!”
“What kind of illness does this woman have? It sounds serious!”
“Whatever it is, if Fairy Han can’t treat it, her hard-earned reputation might go up in smoke.”
“Maybe this woman is an enemy of the Han family trying to tarnish her name.”
The surrounding patients murmured and gossiped.
“Are you deliberately making trouble?”
“Exactly! Did you even take the medicine and apply it properly like our young lady instructed?”
A group of attendants questioned Qi Huang, and even the usually composed and gentle Han Yurou now looked visibly uncomfortable.

“I swear I followed Fairy Han’s instructions to the letter. If the medicine didn’t work, what was I supposed to do?”
Qi Huang pleaded, then turned to Han Yurou. “Fairy Han, please, you must help me. I’m getting matched in just over twenty days. If you don’t believe me, you can keep me by your side and watch me take the medicine daily.”
“Well, aren’t you bold? You actually want to stay by our young lady’s side? Who do you think she is, your personal maid?”
A handmaiden snapped coldly.
“You’re the ones who don’t believe me. What else can I do?”
Qi Huang feigned a sorrowful tone.
Han Yurou took a deep breath, then said, “Very well. From today onward, you’ll stay with me. I’ll do everything I can to heal that red mole within a month.”
“Thank you, Fairy Han! Thank you!”
Qi Huang repeatedly expressed her gratitude, a glint of cunning flashing in her eyes.
“Let me be clear: the Han residence doesn’t feed idlers. If you want to stay by the young lady’s side, you’ll need to do your part.”
“Yeah. The money you gave barely covers the cost of medicine. Don’t expect to be waited on.”
The two handmaidens shot Qi Huang jealous looks.
“Don’t worry. Serving people is what I love the most.”
Qi Huang nodded like an obedient child, though inwardly she sighed… Being a good person was such hard work.
