Volume 14, Chapter 945 – You Actually Stole Their Immortal Stele?
“Peak of the Heavenly Tribulation Realm.”
Qi Huang gave her answer after a brief moment of thought. She had originally wanted to exaggerate, but worried the other party wouldn’t believe her, so she opted for a more reasonable level.
“Really?”
Han Qianyang remained skeptical.
“I’ve already said it that low, and you’re still doubting me?”
Qi Huang grew irritated and, in her frustration, released a minuscule portion—barely one trillionth—of her Divine Sense from her Sea of Consciousness, pressing it down toward Han Qianyang.
Han Qianyang hurriedly released his own Divine Sense in resistance. After a few moments, sweat began to bead on his forehead, but because of his age and status, it was impossible for him to ask for mercy.
“Do you believe me now?”
A smirk formed on Qi Huang’s face.
“I believe you! I believe you! Hurry and put away your Divine Ability, can’t you see my grandfather is sweating all over?”
Han Qianyang was gritting his teeth to endure, but Han Yurou couldn’t stand by any longer and quickly interceded on his behalf.
“That’s better.”
Qi Huang retracted her Divine Sense, though still somewhat disgruntled.
“Sweating? What sweating? That’s clearly water droplets shaken loose from the tree by Divine Sense, alright?”
Han Qianyang clung to his pride with a feeble excuse.
“Oh yeah? Then should we try again and see?”
Qi Huang spoke with an ominous smile.
“Enough, enough! That’s plenty. I believe you’ve reached the peak of the Heavenly Tribulation Realm.”
Han Qianyang finally relented.
“Hmph!”
Only then did Qi Huang back down, her heart swelling with confidence like never before. Because now, at long last, she possessed the strength to stand toe-to-toe with the Heavenly Dao. She no longer needed to hide like a rat, scurrying through the shadows.
“Hahaha, unbelievable, truly. Though I failed to ascend, I somehow ended up creating a powerhouse at the peak of the Heavenly Tribulation Realm. It’s like the saying goes, plant a flower intentionally, and it won’t bloom; stick a willow twig in by chance, and it grows into shade.”
Han Qianyang burst into hearty laughter, then turned to Qi Huang and asked, “Miss Chen, earlier you said you’d protect my granddaughter. Was that true?”
“Of course. I’ve always repaid kindness. Without your generosity and help, I wouldn’t have this strength today.”

Qi Huang answered with sincere conviction.
“That’s wonderful. With your protection, I’ll have no worries when negotiating with the Xi family.”
Han Qianyang let out a long sigh of relief.
“Negotiate? What’s there to negotiate? If they don’t know what’s good for them, I’ll just wipe them out.”
Zombie Cheng Hongling waved impatiently. She had no interest in playing family games with these people.
“Since Miss Chen is willing to help, then I won’t be polite.”
For the first time, Han Qianyang allowed a confident smile to show. “I’ve failed my ascension. There’s no way I can confront the Han family directly. My only bargaining chip now is this hostage. When the deadline arrives, I plan to bring my granddaughter to the Xi family. As long as we enter the Xi estate, the Immortal Stele won’t activate…”
“Stop! Just stop!”
Qi Huang cut in, irritated. “I’ve told you so many times, the Xi family’s Immortal Stele has already lost its power. Why won’t you believe me? Tell you what, how about I go bring back both of the Xi family’s Immortal Steles? Will that convince you?”
“What? What did you say?”
Han Qianyang looked at her in disbelief.
“You said you’re going to steal the Immortal Stele?”
Han Yurou’s beautiful eyes widened.
“Not steal, move! Now that I’m at the peak of the Heavenly Tribulation Realm, it’s nothing for me to visit Tianyan Planet. Once I move the Xi family’s two Immortal Steles back here, then you’ll have your proof.”
Qi Huang emphasized again.
“Are you out of your mind? How can you even think of stealing an Immortal Stele? Do you know how terrifying Immortal Might is?”
Han Qianyang still couldn’t calm down.
“I know… oh, I know too well!”
Qi Huang grumbled to herself, then said aloud, “Less talk, I’ll go bring them back right now.”
“Alright, if you really bring the Xi family’s Immortal Steles here, I’ll believe everything you said.”
Han Qianyang gave a half-smile, clearly doubting she would actually go through with it.
“Wait for my good news.”
Qi Huang collected all her family members into her spatial ring, then left without another word.

“Wait, you’re seriously going to steal the Immortal Steles? That’s incredibly dangerous!”
Han Yurou chased after her, worried.
“How many times do I have to say it? I’m moving them, not stealing!”
Qi Huang retorted furiously, her figure already vanishing into the distance.
Han Yurou’s words were stuck in her throat, and she could only stare anxiously in the direction Qi Huang had disappeared.
“Don’t worry, she was just joking. Do you really believe her?”
Han Qianyang tried to reassure her.
“Joking? You’ll see soon enough.”
Far in the distance, Qi Huang was already frowning after overhearing his words. Several strands of her Boundless Demonic Hair shot up into the sky, piercing through the boundless cosmos that ordinary people could only dream of crossing. In a mere blink, she had arrived at Tianyan Planet.
The strands of Boundless Demonic Hair headed straight for the Xi family with a clear goal in mind. They wrapped around the two Immortal Steles and, in one fluid motion, yanked them both out of the ground. In the blink of an eye, they were dragged into the sky. The entire process happened in a flash, far too fast for anyone from the Xi family to react.
By the time the tremors spread throughout the city, it was already too late.
Xi Hou rushed to the site of the Immortal Steles, only to find two massive, empty holes left in the ground. He looked up at the vast sky, his pupils trembling violently. “Where is it? Where did the Immortal Stele go?”
“Father, what happened?”
Xi Jin soon arrived and immediately saw the gaping holes, his eyes nearly popping out. “This… this is…”
“Quiet! Not a word of this can be allowed to spread.”
Xi Hou regained his composure and slammed a large hand to the ground. Countless stones shot up from the holes, merging together in midair. Before long, they formed two giant stone tablets, identical in size and color to the original Immortal Steles. A closer look revealed the names of countless Xi family ancestors and geniuses carved into the surface. From a distance, they looked completely real.
“Father, are you… making fakes?”
Xi Jin quickly caught on.
“The Xi family cannot afford to lose these two Immortal Steles. You understand that, don’t you?”
Xi Hou replied sternly.
“Good thing we already had camouflage arrays set up around the Steles. Otherwise, outsiders would have noticed immediately.”
Xi Jin said with lingering fear.
“Remember, no one can know about this. Not even members of our own family. If word gets out, the consequences will be unimaginable.”
Xi Hou warned.

“But there’s no wall in the world that doesn’t have a crack. Something this huge won’t stay secret for long.”
Xi Jin looked visibly anxious.
“We’ll keep it hidden as long as we can. I’ll work on retrieving the Steles.”
Xi Hou looked toward the horizon.
“Father… will this affect our plan to save Mother?”
Xi Jin asked cautiously after a moment’s silence.
“That depends on whether you can keep your mouth shut.”
Xi Hou took a deep breath, then added, “Even if the Han family finds out, so what? Without the Steles, we still have enough strength to make them bow. That old man Han wouldn’t dare to pull any tricks.”
“Then that’s fine.”
Xi Jin finally relaxed.
Xi Hou then placed a Divine Sense shield around the fake Steles before stepping back.
Soon, other members of the Xi family arrived, but Xi Hou and his son dismissed them with a few vague words. None of them suspected anything, let alone imagined the Immortal Steles had been stolen.
Qi Huang secured the Steles in a high-capacity spatial ring and then leisurely wandered about as if nothing had happened. She had to wait several more days before bringing them to the Han residence for dramatic effect. Pulling them out right away would be too shocking.
In the blink of an eye, seven or eight days passed. The deadline set by the Xi family was approaching fast, and Han Qianyang and his granddaughter began growing anxious.
Qi Huang arrived at the Han residence just in time. She summoned the grandfather and granddaughter to a secluded location. Then, she took out the two Immortal Steles.
BOOM…!
The enormous Immortal Steles slammed into the ground, shaking the earth.
“This…”
Han Qianyang and his granddaughter stared at the towering steles, dumbfounded.
“Is this real?”
Han Yurou asked in disbelief.
Han Qianyang rushed over to inspect them. After a moment, he turned his head stiffly, “It’s real. These are the two steles from the Han family.”
“How did you do it?”

Han Yurou looked at Qi Huang, her gaze full of awe, confusion, and suspicion.
“I told you, the Xi family’s steles no longer have Immortal Might. Otherwise, how could I have brought them here?”
Qi Huang smiled smugly.
“Even so, the Xi family is filled with experts. And these Steles are unimaginably heavy. How could you steal them so easily?”
Han Qianyang interjected.
“I can’t tell you that. It’s my secret.”
Qi Huang said with deliberate mystery.
The grandfather and granddaughter examined the Steles for a long time before Han Qianyang finally sighed, “No matter what, the threat of the Immortal Steles is gone. We’re back in control now.”
“Thank you. If not for you, I might not have survived this.”
Han Yurou turned and sincerely thanked Qi Huang.
“No need. It was nothing.”
Qi Huang smiled faintly, keeping her accomplishments to herself.
Meanwhile, in a distant part of the universe, a spatial rift suddenly tore open. Over a thousand Heavenly Soldiers poured out, filled with murderous intent.
“Never thought I’d be the one to return and clean up my old home.”
A leading general riding a spectral beast gazed at the deep starry sky and sighed.
“General Xi, you’re from this world?” a vice-general asked curiously.
“Yes, my homeland is Tianyan Planet in the Muyi Star System. I wonder how my descendants are doing now.”
General Xi looked in the direction of Muyi Planet, a nostalgic light in his eyes.
“Come, since we’re back, let’s go check in on my descendants first.”
General Xi recalled his past cultivation experiences, then waved a hand to lead the way.
