Volume 14, Chapter 949 – With This National Preceptor Here, Who Could Stop You
“There’s nothing I wouldn’t dare.”
Qi Huang remained calm as she gave an order to Han Yurou. “Trying to use the Immortal Stele to throw your weight around? I’ll let them watch with their own eyes as the Xi Family’s Immortal Stele is destroyed.”
“Alright!”
Han Yurou’s eyes were resolute. True Water Qi surged violently into her sword as she charged toward one of the steles.
“You’re looking for death!”
The Xi Hou brothers hadn’t yet figured out what was going on and roared as they rushed over.
Qi Huang’s Divine Sense stirred and immobilized the two in place. She murmured, “This National Preceptor said I’d let you watch as the Xi Family’s Immortal Stele is destroyed. Just behave and stay put.”
Clang! Clang!
Han Yurou’s sword had already struck one of the steles. Without its Immortal Might, it was now nothing more than an extremely hard boulder. Cracks quickly spread across the surface as stone fragments flew in all directions.
“Look! Han Yurou is actually smashing the Xi Family’s Immortal Stele!”
“Immortal Steles contain Immortal Might! How could a cultivator possibly damage them?”
“Could it really be like that Han Qianyang said? That the Xi Family’s steles have also lost their Immortal Might?”
“It must be! I said long ago, all the Immortal Steles in the cultivation world have failed. Why should the Xi Family’s be the exception?”
“Serves them right. A cultivation family from Tianyan Planet dared to come swaggering around on our Jingguang Planet, and now they have to watch helplessly as their Immortal Stele is shattered. Truly satisfying!”
“Exactly! I heard that Xi Lin once intimidated cultivators on Jingguang Planet for hundreds of years. The Han Family finally helped us vent our long-standing frustration.”
The cultivators watching from afar were visibly excited and filled with schadenfreude.
Xi Yu saw that his grandfather was unable to move and turned pleadingly to Xi Lin. “Ancestor, please! Save Grandfather!”
Xi Lin’s face twisted with rage. With a thought, a golden longbow carved with dragon patterns appeared in his hand. He gathered all the gold-element spiritual Qi in his domain, condensing it into a deadly arrow and nocking it to the bowstring, then aimed at Qi Huang.
The dragon engravings on the bow raised their heads and let out a deafening roar. A scorching, soul-searing flame burst from their mouths toward the arrowhead.

Under the intense heat, the arrowhead melted in an instant and then contracted inward, forming a pitch-black sphere.
The sphere resembled a gluttonous beast. As soon as it appeared, it released a powerful gravitational pull, drawing in all surrounding matter—except, of course, members of the Xi Family.
“Ah! Run for your lives!”
People in the city below saw dry leaves and twigs rise into the air and fled in panic in all directions. Still, many were swept up by the sphere’s pull.
Han Yurou and her grandfather were caught in the gravity, their bodies dragged uncontrollably in Xi Lin’s direction.
“Your wind-up is really long. Aren’t you afraid this National Preceptor might attack while you’re distracted?”
Qi Huang quipped, and with a thought, halted the movement of the grandfather and granddaughter pair.
“Are you done playing yet? Just slap them to death already. Why drag it out?”
Zombie Cheng Hongling asked impatiently.
“Making a show of power, of course!”
Qi Huang answered without hesitation.
“A show? I’ll show you how to make a fool of yourself!”
Xi Lin roared and finally released the bowstring.
Whoosh!
That terrifying arrow shot toward Qi Huang like lightning. Even the seemingly indestructible spatial barriers of the cultivation world rippled ever so slightly from its passage.
But Qi Huang’s expression remained utterly calm. Her Heavenly Dao-level cultivation manifested a massive hand, which easily caught the terrifying arrow mid-flight and crushed it to dust.
“How is this possible?”
Xi Lin’s face turned deathly pale. He stumbled backward in fear and muttered, “Even if you’re that Ghost-Haired Woman, it’s impossible to become this powerful in such a short time!”

“Nothing special. Mostly just good luck,” Qi Huang replied offhandedly, then turned to Han Yurou. “Continue. With this National Preceptor here, no one can stop you today.”
Han Yurou nodded again and swung her sword toward another stele.
Crack! Crack!
The sharp sound of stone splitting echoed through the air. Very quickly, the first Immortal Stele was reduced to rubble.
“Ancestor, only one stele remains. Please, do something!”
Xi Yu urged anxiously.
Xi Lin wore a deeply embarrassed expression. His strongest move had failed completely… What more could he possibly do?
“Retreat!”
Xi Lin shouted, wasting no time in gathering his people to flee.
“Trying to run? Did I give you permission?”
Qi Huang’s lips curled into a mocking smile. Her Divine Sense surged outward, freezing Xi Lin and his entire group in place.
Xi Lin struggled with all his might, but found himself utterly powerless before Qi Huang’s Divine Sense. Terror swelled in his heart. ‘With my strength at the Thousand Domain level, I still can’t shake her Divine Sense… What level is this woman at? Could she be at the Ten Thousand Domain level?’
Meanwhile, Han Yurou’s expression was unshakable. Her graceful figure moved with speed and precision as she reduced the Xi Family’s remaining two steles to rubble.
With the task complete, Han Yurou’s face showed visible relief. She had finally avenged the Han Family’s humiliation.
“All done. Now, you may die.”
Qi Huang’s Divine Sense contracted in a sudden surge, erasing Xi Lin, his descendants, and every one of his subordinates in an instant.
“Now we can head for the Celestial Realm. It’s time to meet the Heavenly Dao.”
Zombie Cheng Hongling walked over, urging them on.
“I’m afraid it’s not that simple yet,” said Life Soul Cheng Hongling, ever rational.

“What do you mean?”
Zombie Cheng Hongling furrowed her brows.
“Think about it. If the Heavenly Dao can oversee everything across countless worlds, its Divine Sense must be vast. What about yours? Can your perception reach that far?”
Life Soul Cheng Hongling reminded her.
“Ugh…”
Zombie Cheng Hongling was at a loss for words. She had just tried. Her perception could at most cover a hundred worlds, which was pitifully insignificant compared to the Heavenly Dao.
“The Heavenly Dao is still asleep. No one knows how much power it retains. Maybe we can take advantage of its vulnerability,” Qi Huang offered.
“And what if we can’t even defeat the sleeping Heavenly Dao? Or if it wakes up suddenly?” Life Soul Cheng Hongling countered.
Qi Huang fell silent. She truly had no idea what state the Heavenly Dao was currently in.
“So, you mean we should continue building up our strength slowly?”
Zombie Cheng Hongling asked.
“Do you have a better idea? Right now, our strength is enough to make us unafraid of the Heavenly Court. Gradual growth might be the best strategy,” replied Life Soul Cheng Hongling.
“But I really can’t bear it… We’ve been hiding and fleeing for so many years.”
Zombie Cheng Hongling’s voice was filled with unwillingness.
“How about this, we capture a Heavenly Soldier and question them. If it turns out we can sneak in, we storm the Celestial Realm immediately. If the Heavenly Dao still holds power, we bide our time and prepare.”
Qi Huang stepped in to mediate, and her suggestion was met with unanimous approval.
She breathed a sigh of relief and walked over to Han Yurou. “Miss Han, thank you for your time domain. We’ll be leaving this world now. The remaining Xi lackeys, you should be able to handle them?”
“Mm,” Han Yurou nodded distractedly, then asked, “Will we meet again?”

“If we defeat the Heavenly Dao, we’ll see each other very soon.”
Qi Huang gave her a clear answer before walking over to Han Qianyang. “Old Master Han, what I told you before was all true. The Immortal Realm is gone. You can’t ascend anymore.”
“Is that so? Heh…”
Han Qianyang gave a bitter, dim smile.
“But there’s still one way to gain eternal life.”
Qi Huang added immediately.
“What way?”
Han Yurou rushed over, more anxious than her grandfather.
“Go straight to the Celestial Realm. Without the Heavenly Dao’s suppressive will, if you give up your body, your soul can attain eternal life, just like those Heavenly Soldiers and Generals you saw earlier.”
“Then how do I get there?”
Han Qianyang asked after a moment of thought.
“When the Xi Family’s patriarch came to the cultivation world, he opened a passage. It’s near this Muyi Planet and leads directly to the Celestial Realm. But there’s a huge problem… The other end is most likely inside the Heavenly Court’s palace. With your strength, you’d be killed instantly by the Heavenly Soldiers.”
Qi Huang warned.
“Then what should my grandfather do?”
Han Yurou was suddenly anxious.
“Our goal is to destroy the Heavenly Court and the Heavenly Dao, but we’re not yet strong enough. We’ll likely need a few more centuries of cultivation. Unfortunately, your grandfather’s lifespan is nearing its end, he probably can’t wait that long.”
Qi Huang’s face showed a rare look of sympathy.
Han Yurou glanced at her grandfather, then bit her lip. “Miss Chen, I have several centuries’ worth of Time Domain sealed inside my ancestral body. Should be enough to help you, right?”
