Volume 14, Chapter 952 – The Final Battle, Slaying the Heavenly Dao (Part 1)
“Who are you people?”
Yao Fu was the first to react. His nerves were taut, and the icy golden True Qi within him surged at high speed, though it remained hidden, like a sword about to be unsheathed, its sharp edge faintly revealed.
The other Heavenly Soldiers and Generals were also startled. They quickly drew their weapons and prepared for battle. However, a trace of panic was evident on their faces. After all, they hadn’t detected how Qi Huang and the others had approached at all.
“Heh, you’ve hunted me for several centuries, yet you still haven’t figured out what I look like. Some Heavenly Emperor you are… What a disgrace.”
Qi Huang couldn’t help but sneer.
“You’re… you’re the Ghost-Haired Woman?”
Yao Fu quickly pieced it together. After all, the only heretical figures who could elude the pursuit of the Heavenly Court for hundreds of years were none other than Qi Huang and her companions.
“Ghost-Haired Woman? Still so rude. Please, address me properly as National Preceptor.”
Qi Huang corrected him sternly.
“Enough with the nonsense.”
The Zombie Cheng Hongling rolled her eyes at Qi Huang. Then, an unimaginably intense surge of Yin energy exploded from her body like a torrential flood, engulfing the spatial barriers and swallowing up everyone from the Heavenly Court in the blink of an eye.
Even though Yao Fu possessed the strength of Ten Thousand Domain, compared to the Zombie Cheng Hongling now, he was like an ant before an elephant, utterly powerless. Before he could even react, he was drowned within the domain of Yin energy. As for the rest of the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals, they didn’t stand a chance.
The terrifying domain of Yin energy was highly corrosive, effortlessly disintegrating everyone from the Heavenly Court into nothing, not even ashes remained.
Crack! Crack!
The Zombie Cheng Hongling cracked her knuckles with interlaced fingers, then took the lead and headed toward the spatial rift. “Let’s go. We’ve been hunted by the claws of the Heavenly Dao long enough. Now it’s time for it to see what we’re really capable of.”

Qi Huang smiled helplessly, then followed in after her along with the Life Soul Cheng Hongling and maidservant An Xuan.
After emerging from the spatial rift, Qi Huang glanced around. Just as she had anticipated, this was none other than the Observatory Hall.
Returning to an old place, Qi Huang was no longer the same person she had been back then, and neither was Cheng Hongling. Thus, they made no effort to conceal their presence.
“Who’s inside?”
The Heavenly Soldiers guarding outside immediately sensed something was wrong. They pushed open the door and charged in, completely unaware that their Heavenly Emperor was already dead.
“Die!”
The Zombie Cheng Hongling didn’t even pause. Her Yin energy domain surged forward, and wherever it passed, not only were the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals annihilated, even space itself was devoured without a trace.
Qi Huang, protected by her Divine Sense, followed at a leisurely pace. She was often the one to appear in front of others, so it was only fair for her wife to have a moment in the spotlight.
More Heavenly Soldiers and Generals from the Heavenly Court, hearing the commotion, began to converge toward them. The area swarmed like bees returning to their hive. Unfortunately, not one of them was a match for Zombie Cheng Hongling. The surrounding space was rapidly consumed by the expanding Yin energy domain.
Life Soul Cheng Hongling’s Divine Sense left her body. She seized a Heavenly Soldier and pulled him before her, asking, “Where is the Heavenly Dao Tower?”
The soldier grimaced in pain and pointed toward a towering structure in the distance. “Over… over there!”
Without another glance, the Life Soul Cheng Hongling tossed the soldier aside and took the lead, flying toward the Heavenly Dao Tower.
As the group neared, the Heavenly Dao Tower came fully into view. It wasn’t just expansive in area, it stretched so high into the sky that its peak was invisible. The overlapping tiers of eaves were dizzying to the eye. Most striking of all, from each level’s central platform, countless tendrils of Divine Sense extended outward like inverted tree roots, burrowing into the spatial barriers of countless worlds.
Just from that scene alone, Qi Huang was certain: the Heavenly Dao was inside that tower.
“You handle the outside.”

Qi Huang instructed An Xuan.
“Yes!”
An Xuan gave a slight nod, then turned and stood guard at the door.
Qi Huang’s Divine Sense emerged from her body, transforming into a massive sword that slashed violently at the tower’s grand gate.
BOOM!
The gate shattered instantly, unable to offer even the slightest resistance.
Qi Huang led the way inside… and finally, the true form of the Heavenly Dao appeared before her eyes.
It resembled the head of a middle-aged man, entirely composed of Divine Sense. From the crown of his head, countless tendrils of Divine Sense surged outward like wild, untamed hair, extending beyond the tower. Because it was asleep, its eyes remained closed.
“So this is the Heavenly Dao? Just a cluster of Divine Sense? I was expecting something with three heads and six arms.”
Qi Huang gave a mocking sneer and, with a thought, commanded the sword of Divine Sense to strike the Five Elements Heavenly Dao without mercy. The sword’s tremendous power immediately distorted the spatial barriers of the Heavenly Realm.
Swish!
Suddenly, a figure shot out from the head of the Heavenly Dao. With a single upward palm, he caught Qi Huang’s Divine Sense sword barehanded.
Qi Huang focused her gaze, and realized the man looked exactly like the Heavenly Dao. Clearly, this was its subconscious will.
The subconscious will of the Heavenly Dao looked toward Qi Huang and the others, narrowing his eyes slightly. “Remnants of the Assimilation Dao? So the Heavenly Court actually let you people grow strong. Useless trash, all of them.”
“Remnants?”

Zombie Cheng Hongling scoffed. “Heh, you’re wrong. The Assimilation Dao was merely a power we borrowed. We are natives, born and raised.”
“So you know who you are. Then where did you get the courage to defy your betters?”
The Five Elements Heavenly Dao questioned harshly.
“I should ask you,” Qi Huang’s tone turned icy as she recalled Lu Yao’s fate. A nameless rage surged into her mind like a blaze. Her Divine Sense erupted furiously, and the giant sword swelled in size and smashed down toward the Heavenly Dao’s subconscious with full force.
CRACK… CRACK…
The sword was razor sharp, and as it descended, it tore into the Heavenly Dao Wall itself, producing a harsh grinding noise.
The subconscious will’s right hand trembled under the pressure. He raised his left hand to support the blade as well, straining with both hands to hold it up.
“Is this all you’ve got? And you still dare defy the heavens? Know your place!”
As he spat out those words, everything in the surroundings began to disintegrate rapidly, transforming into Divine Sense that flowed toward him. Not even the Heavenly Court’s soldiers were spared, they all became fodder.
Qi Huang’s heart pounded. So it was true… What Lu Yao learned from Tianjizi was no lie. Under the Five Elements Heavenly Dao, all living and non-living things were part of it. It could control life and death at any moment. Had she not possessed the power of the Assimilation Dao, she would’ve died already.
In mere moments, the Heavenly Dao’s subconscious Life Soul grew more solid and powerful, gradually lifting Qi Huang’s sword of Divine Sense.
“Still dare resist?”
Life Soul Cheng Hongling’s beautiful eyes narrowed. A terrifying killing intent burst forth, transforming into a tide of soldiers and horses that charged toward the subconscious. After centuries of honing, her killing aura had long surpassed what Lu Yao once wielded.
“Killing intent?”
The subconscious’s expression changed drastically, and he immediately attempted to banish his Essence Soul.

“Too late!”
Qi Huang’s expression turned vicious as the power of assimilation flooded out of her, forming a circular domain around them. The moment the subconscious attempted to release his Essence Soul, she would assimilate it on the spot.
The subconscious clearly understood this. He could only watch helplessly as the tide of killing intent surged toward him.
Affected by the killing intent, fear appeared on the subconscious’s face. His Life Soul began to tremble slightly, unable to absorb any more energy from the surroundings.
Qi Huang seized the opportunity and drove the sword of Divine Sense downward with brutal force.
Unable to hold on, the subconscious lost grip. The sword plummeted toward his head.
CRACK!
The blade struck dead center, and a crisp shattering sound echoed. Countless cracks spread from the center of his forehead, cascading downward.
“Die!”
Qi Huang roared, pouring even more Divine Sense into the sword. It pressed downward while simultaneously sawing back and forth like a serrated blade.
Inch by inch, the sword of Divine Sense sank into the subconscious’s skull, cutting steadily downward, clearly intending to split him in two.
“And a measly ant like you thinks you can kill me?”
The subconscious’s face twisted with fury. With a thought, vast portions of the Heavenly Dao Wall shattered around him, and he plunged—along with his true form—into the Primordial Space.
“A stray dog dares bark so loudly!”
Without hesitation, Qi Huang dove in after him, her two wives close behind.
