Chapter 5

It has been a Month since Shirou and Illya encountered Rin and Aoi, and since then Shirou and Illya has been going to there house/mansion, to play or to discussed their Research to each other to help each other to further there growth 

But Shirou started to noticed, that every famed magus has one thing in common, they all have Workshops, to study there research, to which he decided to create a mental note to create one in the future 

Shirou, Illya and Rin, has became best of friends, in just a Month. But Shirou always saw both Illya and Rin has been competing for his praise and attention, to which he just summed it up, that they want the approval of a Marshall, since it's the same in the Clock Tower 

But surprisingly Zelretch has also been showing up once in a while, to teach Irisviel to control her Magic, since both Zelretch and Shirou has been speculating that Irisviel will gain True Magic 

But currently it's December 31, meaning it's New Year's Day, but for the Emiya-Einzbern Family, it's Shirou's Birthday 

We see Sella cooking up a feast with Irisviel help, Fillia and Leysritt setting up the tables with the help of Aoi, while Shirou, Illya, Rin and Taiga was playing tag in the backyard, while Raiga and Zelretch was watching the kids

Irisviel: " Sella-san, can you please, help me here? " To this Sella nodded and went to Irisviel and helped 

10 Minutes Later

We currently see everyone inside and praying for the food, then everyone looked at Shirou 

Everyone(Except Shirou): " Happy Birthday Shirou!!! " To this Shirou smiled

Shirou: " Thank you everyone!! " To this everyone then started to eat

While some were eating, some then gave Shirou his presents 

Illya then came to Shirou with a big stuffed animal(to which you choose on what animal) 

Illya: " Shirou-oniichan, here is my present! " To this Shirou took it and smiled 

Shirou: " Thank you Illya! " Before Illya could reply Rin pushed her away and gave Shirou a pendent 

Rin: " This my gift Shirou, and i made it myself " Zelretch then stood up and gave Shirou some kind a golden ring

Zelretch: " Shirou this is mine and Barthomeloi's gift to you... And sorry for leaving this early, but you already my job " To this Shirou nodded fully understanding his duties as a Marshal, the only reason why he hasn't such duties is that he hasn't decided on what subject he would focus on

Zelretch then gave Shirou a piece of paper, and from the looks of it, he could tell that there are writings in it

Right after Zelretch left, Raiga then took a key and gave it to Shirou 

Raiga: " This is a key's your Vehicle that i bought, Shirou-kun " To this Shirou nodded happily, since he always wanted to drive a Car or a Motorcycle, since he first saw it Raiga driving one

Next Day

A Day After the Birthday party, everyone has went home, while Shirou put on the ring and read the paper and realized it was a Mystic Code that is connected to the Mana Stream, a place that has Infinite Mana Source and with the ring connecting to it, he could regenerate his Mana quickly 

While at the back, Shirou read that Irisviel was nearing True Magic and the same for himself, but can't since he is far too young, since the minimum requirement to safely access True Magic, you need to be 12 years old, Shirou then saw instructions that allows one to go to the root and obtain it

To which he decided to do it another time, since it would cause quite a bit of Mana, to do 

Reverse Side of The World - Unknown Part

We currently see both Merlin and Shirou, walking towards his new possible teacher, if she were to accept it

But then Shirou sidestep, while Merlin narrowly dodge an Arrow? 

???: " Why are you here Merlin!! " To this Shirou then looked at the direction of the voice and saw a beautiful woman, she was wearing a blue dress, with water surrounding her, but the thing that is ruining her beauty was her pissed off face 

This lady is the Lady of The Lake Vivian

Merlin: " Vivian!! Please hear me out!!! " To this Shirou then looked at what Vivian would do. Vivian then sense a familiar presence and looked at Shirou and sense that he held Avalon

Vivian: " Is this something to do with the boy? " To this Merlin nodded, then Shirou was covered in water, alerting him and was about to destroy it, but was stopped by Merlin 

Merlin: " Shirou don't, this is one of the Fairies personal spells, the spell that allows one to know one's true nature " To this Shirou stopped, but decided to activate his omniscience, to know more of the spell and the possibility of him using it and perfect it

While Shirou was searching for something similar to the spell that is being cast to him, he did not notice the shocked express from Vivian

Vivian: ' Is this child even Human?.... His soul is far too pure! To be human.... But he only wants two things, knowledge and for his family and friends to be happy, huh ' She then realized the spell, to which Shirou stood up properly 

Vivian: " I already, ascertain your character, but i want to know something? " To this Shirou looked at Merlin, who only shrug, to this he looked at Vivian

Shirou: " Sure, what is it? " To this Vivian closed her eyes and opened then again and looked at Shirou

Vivian: " To you Shirou, what is a Good Life? " To this Merlin was taken aback by the question, but was still curious on what Shirou would say. Shirou then smiled 

Shirou: " Power and Knowledge " To this both Vivian and Merlin, was surprised by the answered, especially Merlin, since the two could tell, that Shirou could become the second King Arthur, especially his nature

Vivian: " What do you mean Shirou? " She asked, to get a meaning to his answer, to which Shirou gladly answered 

Shirou: " My desire is to protect everyone, that is important to me, but i can't do that if i'am powerless. Because of that, i want to become powerful, with power i could influence the world to protect my family and friends, but to be powerful i need to be quite knowledgeable as well, that is why i desired the knowledge of The Tree of Yggdrasil " To this Vivian sense that Shirou isn't lying, she merely smiled, with Merlin glad that he isn't trying to become some kind of Hero of Justice 

Vivian: " Very well, we Fairies shall train you, and give our blessings to you Shirou, to fully wield Avalon " To this Shirou smiled and felt that Avalon has gotten significantly stronger 

Shirou: " Thank you, Vivian-san " He then bowed, to this Vivian waved off her hand

Vivian: " So, Shirou when do you want to start your training " To this crossed his arms together 

Shirou: " Can it be possible, for every night, so that my training with you all will be finished quicker? " To this Vivian nodded

Vivian: " It is possible, and judging from the schedule, you want to spend time with your family, in the day, while training in the night " To this Shirou nodded 

Shirou: " Yes, thank you Vivian-san!! " Unknown to the three, cost of Shirou's involvement with the fairies, it cost many beings in the Reverse Side, to watch Shirou intently
