Chapter 11 : The Talk

We can see team WBY part of RWBY was eating in the cafteria with yang having recovered but still had a few scratches on her until Ruby walked to their table and slammed a heavy looking binder with the Title "Best day ever activities" on the table.

She clears her throat before speaking.

"Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream."

"Ohh this ought to be good" That was Yang's reply before catching a grape chewing on it happily.

"A dream that one day, all of us would have the most fun than anyone has ever had...ever!" She continued undeterred gaining herself a pair of raised eyebrows by blake and Weiss.

"Look guys, it's been a good two weeks and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But, classes start homework tomorrow! Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today."

"I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store." It was Weiss who spoke up in a uncertain tone since her team leader shared a different view of "fun".

"I am sure it won't be so bad Weiss, this would be the last time for three months to have some kind of fun, but I am curious...what did you plan Ruby?" Yang looked at his partner.

It was just at that moment when suddenly a pie landed on Weiss's face gaining her the looks of everyone except for Nora who was laughing madly holding her stomach.

And thus started the most epic food fight in history.

With shirou

Shirou and his team were summoned to the office of the headmaster, they walked into his office and saw him with glynda.

Shirou : you really like clocks don't you .

Ozpin ( jokingly ): you can say I am never late to a meeting.

Glynda : please focus.

Ozpin : sorry, first I must coungratulate you on your victories.

Lorelei : it was too easy, they were hardly a challenge to any of us. They really need to grow up or quit.

Glynda and ozpin winced at the jab on their students competence.

Ozpin : it can't be that bad.

Shirou : I am sorry but I have to agree, yang was a beserker who is reckless in her fights, she losses control the second someone taunted her, she can be a danger to her teammates, pyrrha was the only decent person I saw from what I saw unfourtunetly she was paired with arcueid who does not know how to hold back.

Arcueid : sorry.

Glynda : it is true, miss Xia Long has not listened to my instructions, she relies on her semblence, I hope the beating she got will set her straight.

Ozpin : moving on, I wish to ask you a favor, please follow me.

Entering an elevator, they went down to a vault and saw a woman uncouncious.

Shirou : who is that ?

Glynda : her name is Amber and she is the fall maiden, but was attacked and half her power to use magic was stolen.

Lorelei : if what I read in your stories is true, she does not use magic but magecraft.

Glynda : what is the difference ?

Ciel : magecraft results can be replecated by science.

Shirou ; how did she get her power ?

Ozpin : when a maiden dies her power is given to the last person the she thought of.

Lorelei : what kind of idiot mage would establish such a system, he could have used a crest.

Ozpin winced at the jab, in truth he did not know that the powers would transfer like that.

Ozpin : any way, I was wondering if you can heal her.

Shirou : on one condition, you tell me everything you are hiding.

Ozpin : what are you...

Lorelei : do you take us for fools, you obviously are not telling us everything and hiding secrets.

Glynda's and ozpin's eyes widened, they did not expect the people infront of them to be so observent, after thinking for a while ozpin accepted.

Shirou stepped forward and released Amber from her bed and healed all her injuries then woke her up.

Amber : where am I ?

Ozpin : you are safe Amber, thanks to our friends.

Amber : thank you for saving my life.

Arcueid : no problem.

Ozpin : for now rest, you must be tired. Eveyone else follow me.

Ozpin office

Ozpin : thank you for saving Amber.

Lorelei : it was no problem, now tell us what you hid from us.

Ozpin sighed and began to talk about how he was cursed by the brother gods to reincarnate forever till he stopped salem and the relics given to humanity. After telling them, everyone had a thoughtful face.

Lorelei : if you want my opinion, don't gather the relics, the world is better of without gods.

Glynda : but why ?

Ciel : gods are inhuman beings, they do what they want and humanity suffers, so glad that the age of gods ended in our world.

Shirou : you don't have a plan to kill salem, or you can't.

Ciel : what do you mean shirou ?

Shirou : think about it , he has had thousands of years to kill her but didn't, so she must be immortal.

Ozpin flinched and seeing the eyes glaring at him, he was forced to tell the whole truth about what jinn told him.

Glynda ( in despair ) : so we are fighting a lost cause, why did you lie to us.

Ozpin : I wanted to give you hope that salem could be defeated.

Lorelei : she can be.

Both ozpin and glynda looked at her in disbelieve.

Ozpin : she can't die.

Lorelei : no you idiot, the relic said you can't kill her alone, someone else could, you phrased your question in a wrong way, also why did you not ask how to stop her, killing her is not the only way to stop her, or ask how to delete her immortality.

Ozpin stood still for sometime before tears started to fall from his eyes and he began to laugh, he was an idiot, for so long he suffered needlesly and the answer was infront of him.

Glynda : so what you are saying the war is still going because someone is bad at phrasing ?

Ciel : yes.

Glynda turned to ozpin and glared at him with her weapon in hand, ozpin finally noticed that and paled.

Ozpin : now glynda, you need to calm down. We were given such good news, it is a time for celebration.

Glynda : I would like to have a few words about your english language headmaster.

Ozpin : help me.

Shirou : also here are some anti immortality weapons in case that does not work. Bye.
While creating weapons of all kinds then leaving ozpin to his fate along with the rest of his team.

Ozpin's screams were the last thing they heard before closing the door.

Ciel : I can't belieave some people are so stupid.

Lorelei : and their magic system is horrid.

Shirou : let's not think about it and go eat.

Arcueid : yes I am hungry.

The group headed to the cafeteria, lorelei openned the door only to be hit in the face with a pie.

Arcueid began to laugh while shirou and ciel hid their chuckle and wondered who was the poor bastard who threw the pie and was about to die.

Lorelei's face was red in rage, she entered the cafteria and saw team RWBY and JNPR having a food fight, having enough she sent a wind blast that made the two teams stick to the wall.

Ruby (in pain ): what happened ?

The group turned and saw a furious lorelei walking towards them.

Lorelei : who is the person who threw the pie at my face ?

Weiss : hypothically speaking, what will happen to that person ?

Lorelei : that person will die a slow and painful death.

JNPR/RWBY : NOT ME.

Lorelei was about to explode but before that could happen shirou put a hand on her shoulder.

Shirou : calm down, they were just having fun. Besides we came to eat.

Snapping his fingers the entire cafeteria was as good as new and food was on the table.

Huffing lorelei sat with her team on a table and were joined by both teams.

Ruby : hi I am ruby rose leader of team rwby. This is weiss, yang and blake. That is team JNPR made of jaune, pyrrha, nora and ren.

Shirou : nice to meet you all.

Weiss : I apologize for the commotion.

Ciel : don't worry, it was funny.

Lorelei : speak for yourself.

Nora : you guys were so awesome in class today.

Ren : indeed and you made it look so effortless.

Lorelei : we are used to fighting people on a much higher level, so it was easy for us.

Yang : wait, you mean you were holding back.

Ciel : very much so.

This left the two teams silent, they were the two best teams in the first years and there strongest memmbers were easily beaten, this was a slap in the face for them.

Pyrrha : if I may ask, where did you learn to fight ?

Arcueid : we all were homeschooled

Weiss : you mean you did not go to a fighting school like signal ?

Shirou : you don't need to go to signal or a fighting school to know how to fight, out there in the real world, it is where you truly learn , trust me when I say the real world experience will teach you more than beacon can offer.

Weiss : but beacon is the best school...

Lorelei : but out there is where you learn how to work and fight, miss yang here would easily lose a fight due to her recklessness out there and then die, here in beacon your aura is down you lose and try again later, out there you die.

Yang : hey I am strong..

Ciel : and yet it took shirou seconds and one serious hit to put you in the hospital.

This made yang shut up, as much as she wanted to deny the fact, it was true, this man easily destroyed her.

Shirou : listen I am not trying to bash you or anything, just giving you advice, you won't get a second chance out there no matter who you are.

Team RWBY began to think of his words.

Ren : listen I wish to deeply thank you.

Ciel : why

Nora : that grimm you killed in the initiation , it was the one that destroyed our village.

Shirou : I am happy that I relieaved you of the burden of killing it in revenge.

Jaune : why ?

Shirou : revenge is like a poison, it can take you over and finally make us into something we are not, something terrible, make no mistake for a while it will feel good, but later it will become a hollow feeling.

Everyone on the table even his own teammates looked at him.

Jaune : have you ever felt vengeful ?

Blake (scolding) : jaune.

Shirou ( clossing his eyes ) : everyday.
Then left to his room.

This made everyone think what could make shirou vengeful, perhaps he lost someone while his teammates looked at each other in worry and confusion.
