chapter 4 : The Next Day

The next day, everyone woke up from their slumber after the party,what surprised shirou is that he woke up with ciel and aoka beside him in bed, both hugging him not letting him escape.

Sighing he teleported out of the room and began to think of what he would do, illya's protection was priority to him, thankfully  kiritsuga had multiple safe houses around the world and money was not a problem.

Atleast with his new reputation the elizebern family would be too scared to do anything against him so that was a positive.

He set out to make breakfest for everyone, he was sure everyone would be tired and hungry after yesterday, he decided to make much food, he made some japanese breakfest and some pancakes with syrup, he also fried some eggs and baked some croissant.

5 minutes after he was done, the doorbell rang,confused shirou went to open the door wondering who come this early, though he was cautious if it was hostile.

Taking a deep breath, shirou was very surprised to feel someone pinning him down on the floor but before he could react that person claimed a kiss from him.

Shirou : ( just what is it with older women kissing me in this dimension ).

Arcueid : finally I have you in my arms shirou.

Finally getting to see who his attacker is shirou saw it was a blond woman with red eyes.

Shirou : excuse me, but who are you ?

Arcueid : sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I am the white princess Arcueid brunested and your fiancee.

A scream was heard and turning around shirou saw how everyone was awake looking at him with shock on th their faces.

5 min later

The group was seated watching tensely as arcueid inhaled the food shirou made with elegance.

Arcueid : wow shirou, you make some yummy food, another thing I love about you.

Shirou : umm thanks.

On  the side, shirou can see illya,sella,liz and ciel trembling as they watched the vampire princess, while aoka was on guard.

Aoka : so princess what brings you here ?

Arcueid : oh I just wanted to see shirou, he is my fiancee and wanted to welcome him to the 27 dead apostle ancestors.

Shirou : about that how am I your fiancee and how did I get on that list ?

Arcueid : you see shirou, I have been watching you ever since you came to this dimension and I always felt so attracted to you, your soul is so pure and there is something that makes you irresistable to me, as for the second I nominated you seeing how strong you are.

Illya : but shouldn't shirou consent before you are married.

Arcueid ( shrugging ) : meh, those are trivial details.

Everyone else : (those are important ).

?? : seems you got yourself in quite a situation shirou. Also your food is delicious.

Everyone turned and saw an old looking man that was recognized by all eating from the table.

All : zelretch/ grandpa

Zelretch : hello everyone. How have you been arcueid ?

Arc : great, shirou makes some yummy food.

Zelretch : indeed he does, shirou can I talk to you in private?

Sensing the seiousness shirou agreed and both moved to the other room, casting a privacy bounded field, both began to talk.

Zelretch : happy to see you adjusting young shirou or should I say peter.

Shirou : don't call me that, my name is shirou and I want nothing to do with my past.

Zelretch : as you wish, now for the reason I brought you here, it's about arcueid.

Shirou : why is she so obssesed with me ?

Zelretch : no idea, this has never happened before, but I want to ask you a favor,please give her a chance.
After saying that he bowed to shirou.

Shirou : get up please, and why do you want me to give her a chance.

Zelretch : shirou, Arc is like a granddaughter  to me,  she has suffered much, you should have seen her before you came, she was like a machine so please don't reject her.

Shirou (sighing ) : fine, I can see how much this means to you, so I will give her a chance.

Zelretch : that is all I ask, you should also be happy to know that I hired an agent of chaos named Ebon to help with my pranks on the idiots of your dimension.

Shirou : just make sure to bring me photos of stark and barton suffering and I will be happy.

Zelretch : will do.
Before dissapearing into a portal.

Openning the door, shirou was surprised to see a couple of  eavesdroppers fall to the ground.

Shirou ; what are you doing ?

Girls : nothing.

Shirou : arcueid, I know this is very unusual but I am willing to got out with you, to try it out.

Unable to hold her happiness, arcueid ran to shirou and hugged him waving him around.

Meanwhile, with illya if one listens closely they can hear the crack that formed in her heart at seeing her brother dating.

Sella and liz and ciel also paled at the knowledge of the vampire princess being near them from now on.

Aoka thought that life would be intresting with shirou around.

Aoka : now shirou we have a few things to discuss after breakfest.

Shirou only gave her a thumbs up in response while being crushed by arcueid.

At living room

After settling down the vampire princess, everyone gathered in the living room, arcueid sat next to shirou much to illya's annoyance.

Aoka : now shirou as you know you are my appreantence, though it is a sham, we need you to accompany to the mage association to keep appearence.

Ciel : wait, do you believe that bringing the new number ten to the place where lorelei is the sane thing to do. That woman would attack him on sight.

Shirou : wait who is lorelei

Everyone stopped and looked at shirou like he wad an idiot.

Illya : brother are you telling me that you don't know who lorelei barthomeloi is ?

Shirou : umm no, is she someone important ?

Everyone on the table except arcueid facepalmed at the question.

Aoka : shirou, lorelei is the vice director of the clock tower, she is an incredible mage comming from a long line of elites, but what they are most famous for is their hatred for vampires.

Shirou : but I am not a vampire.

Aoka : but you are part of the 27 which means she will attack you on principle.

Shirou : wow that girl needs to relax a bit.

At that both arcueid and aoka laughed.

Arcueid : hahaha, shirou please tell her that to her face and record it for me.

Ciel : please don't, I like England the way it is.

Shirou : ok, I will be wary of her, so when do we need to go.

Aoka : how about next weekend, that way your studies will not be affected.

Shirou : I have no problem with that. How about you ciel when will you quit the church ?

Ciel : today I will go to fyuuki church to send  my resignation to the higher ups.

Shirou : just be careful , dad warned me about kerei kotomine, said not to trust him. I will go with you to make sure everything is fine.

Ciel : very well. We also have to make some false papers and id for me.

Shirou : I already took care of that, I reached into my dad's old friends and payed them for these.

Shirou handed her papers.

Ciel : wow shirou you really think of everything.

Shirou : it is not a problem. Since we will all be living here, why don't we take a trip around fyuuki.

Arcueid : that's  a great idea shirou, it will be  a date.

Aoka : he meant for all of us to go.

At this arcueid pouted which seemed too cute for shirou.

Shirou : but if you want I can take you on a private date tommorow.

At this arcueid yelled happily yes.

For the rest of the day, shirou toured everyone fyuuki, showing the land marks and eating ice cream which arcueid seemed obssesed with.

Seeing the sun about to set, shirou asked the others to go back while he and ciel headed to the church.

Arriving at the church both ciel and shirou felt a bad feeling.

Ciel : you know shirou, I did not believe you when you said something weird is going on, but now I am suspicious.

Entering the church, they found a tall man with brown hair reading the bible,but what truly got their attention is his lifeless eyes.

Kotomine : ah, hello believers have you come to confess.

Ciel : no father kotomine, I am ciel an agent of the burial agency ,I wish of you to send my resignation letter.

Kotomine : oh, it will be sad to see you go, and who is this with you.

Shirou : my name is shirou emiya.

Kotomine's eyes widened when he heard his name.

Kotomine : I see, the son of the late magus killer and the new tenth apostle ancestor.

Shirou (tensing) : yes is that a problem.

Kotomine : no of course not, your father must be proud of you getting a name as feared as him, to be  known as such a monster like him.

Ciel was about to retort angrily but shirou stopped her.

Shirou (coldly) : kiritsuga was a monster to many, but to me he was my father, I don't care if people see me as a monster, so long as they stay away, I have no problem.

With that said shirou teleported both ciel and himself home.

Gilgamesh : I see ,the boy continues to intrest me.

Kerei : my queen, why do you grace me with your presence.

Gilgamesh : I merely wished to see the boy, he is intresting, a different breed from the mongrels of today.

Kerei : it seems the boy is more intresting than I thought.

At emiya residence

Everyone there was surprised and spooked when shirou and ciel appeared suddenly in the middle of the room.

Sella (scolding ): shirou don't teleport inside the house

Shirou : yeh, if you will excuse me I am going to sleep.

Bidding everyone goodbye shirou left to his room without a word. Once he left everyone looked at each other with a worried face.

Illya : what happened shirou seems in a bad mood.

Liz : shirou has never been angry, what happened.

Everyone turned to ciel who explained what happened.

Aoka : how dare that man call shirou a monster

Illya : shirou is not a monster and neither is dad , he is a hero.

Sella : pay that man no mind illya, for now ignore him, it would not do well to antigonize a church agent.

Illya : but..

Aoka : no she is right, last thing we need is to get the church on your tail more than it already is.

Arcueid : besides shirou will probably be better tommorow.

In the bedroom.

Shirou was furious, how dare that man call him and kiritsuga monsters without knowing them, it rubbed him the wrong way when people judged others based on rumours and he hated it. He did not care what people said about him but kiritsuga was his father, he took him in and  was the first person who showed him kindness in such a long time, he guessed this was a constant in every world.

Sighing he went to sleep since there was no use dwelling on the subject.
