Volume 2, Chapter 26 – Throwing

“Mommy~”

After Shuoyue arrived in the bathroom, she called out sweetly to Yumo.

“Mm, you’re here,” Yumo responded softly. As she spoke, Yumo slowly rose and stepped out of the bath. Meanwhile, the blue-haired girl watching from the side considerately floated to Yumo’s side and handed the towel she had just taken out to her mother.

“Mommy, here’s your towel~”

“Mm, thanks, sweetie.” Yumo gently patted Shuoyue’s small head, and the latter closed both eyes in enjoyment, carefully sensing her mother’s caress.

After giving Shuoyue her reward, Yumo began to dry her hair and her delicate body. Once the water was wiped away, Yumo wrapped the towel around herself, covering a large expanse of her fair skin. A moment later, the black-haired girl turned her head thoughtfully, looking toward the female lead who was fast asleep by the bath.

Noticing her mother’s gaze, Shuoyue also looked toward the silver-haired girl. Seeing this Chosen Maiden who had shared a bath with her mother, a strong surge of jealousy erupted from Shuoyue’s eyes. Clearly, she and her older brothers and sisters were the only ones who should be close to her mother! Why was this Chosen Maiden allowed to as well?! This was too much!

Wait, no, it was just her and her sisters! Forget her second brother; she might as well kick that guy out. He was too dirty and didn’t fit in at all…

‘She’s clearly Mommy’s enemy, yet she dares to try and steal Mommy from us…’

Thinking of this, the sleepiness in Shuoyue’s blue-gold eyes vanished completely, replaced by deep hostility. The only ones allowed to compete for her mother’s favor were her sisters! Even if she couldn’t kill this Chosen Maiden for now, she had to throw her out of the Deepwinter Forest as soon as possible! She couldn’t be allowed to stay here any longer! These past few days, Mommy’s thoughts seemed to be entirely on this girl! She hardly had any time to spend with them! And this was despite how rare it was for her to wake up!

‘Hmm? Come to think of it, Mommy seemed to have mentioned earlier…’

At this thought, Shuoyue drifted curiously to Yumo’s side. At the same time, Shuoyue skillfully suppressed her emotions and hugged Yumo’s neck like a pampered, adorable child.

“Mommy, did you call me here because of this big sister?”

However, before she prepared to give Shuoyue her instructions, Yumo seemed to remember something and turned her head curiously toward the girl beside her who was already half-ethereal. “By the way, Shuoyue, how is the memory adjustment for that Heavenly Apostle lady going?”

“Heehee.” Hearing this, Shuoyue grinned with great pride. “It went very smoothly, Mother!”

“Then, does she only remember being blown away by Li Mo now?”

At the same time, on a mountain range in the outer mid-section of the Deepwinter Forest, two little ones were trekking along. These were Yumo’s two daughters, Li Mo and Li Yu.

Li Yu walked in front, her hand firmly grasping the ankle of a white-haired girl. Just like before, the pitiful Miss Bai Yanluo was once again being dragged along the ground like a mop by Li Yu, losing all dignity. Li Yu never showed mercy to enemies. Along the way, whether it was Li Yu’s deliberate retaliation or not, Bai Yanluo’s head kept bumping into things. Fortunately, as an eighth tier powerhouse, even though she was unconscious, her physical constitution remained hardy. Aside from her hair being a mess and looking increasingly disheveled, she hadn’t suffered any real damage. Fortunately, this time, her face wasn’t the part hitting the ground…

On the other side, little Li Mo followed behind Li Yu with her arms crossed over her chest, glaring at Bai Yanluo’s face with extreme displeasure. She was still brooding over the fact that Bai Yanluo had beaten her before, and she was constantly thinking of finding an opportunity to pay her back!

‘Besides, if something really happens to Bai Yanluo, Mother will probably scold me along with her when we get back.’ Li Yu muttered silently to herself.

On the other side, seeing her sister’s resolute stance and knowing she was powerless to take revenge, Li Mo could only pout her lips in dissatisfaction. She suppressed the Shadow Essence around her and followed listlessly behind Li Yu, at most throwing a few vicious glares at Bai Yanluo every now and then…

“But Li Yu, how do you plan to handle her?” Li Mo asked curiously, looking at her sister’s petite but incredibly reliable back.

Instead, she silently dragged Bai Yanluo to the edge of a cliff and looked out toward the landscape outside the Deepwinter Forest. After locking onto a certain remote forest in the distance, Li Yu nodded with satisfaction.

“There will do.”

“Huh? What do you mean?” Li Mo walked to her sister’s side in confusion.

“Nothing, I just found a place to throw the trash.”

“Huh? What trash?”

“Sigh, Sister, forget it. Even if I told you, you wouldn’t understand.” Li Yu sighed helplessly. Then, the grey-haired girl ignored her wolf-sister’s subsequent fussing and concentrated her attention on the deserted forest she had just located within a certain small kingdom.

The fake memory she and Shuoyue had arranged for Bai Yanluo was that she had been blown away by a Magic Fission Bomb! After being hit, she had remained unconscious ever since. She had no memory of being imprisoned in a cave. To ensure this, Li Yu planned to use the cover of the blizzard to throw her into the deep mountains and old forests. Since no one would see her, no one could tell Bai Yanluo exactly when she arrived in that forest. This way, when Bai Yanluo woke up, she would only think she had been unconscious in the forest for a long time. And the reason she was unconscious was because she was attacked by the Snownight Empire’s Magic Fission Bomb~

Now, I’ll give you an assist~’ Li Yu laughed gloomily.

Suddenly, emerald-colored wind-attribute Shadow Essence erupted around Li Yu. In the next instant, under Li Mo’s stunned and bewildered gaze, Li Yu violently swung her arm, throwing Miss Bai Yanluo out like a shot put toward their destination…
