Hearing the grey-haired girl’s words, Beckham waved his hand in disbelief, even breaking into a fit of laughter.

“Little girl, why else would anyone look for the Hall of Ten Thousand Demons? To find its location, obviously. And if possible, to destroy it. What else would anyone go there for? We aren’t those cultists; we don’t expect to gain power from within the Hall of Ten Thousand Demons.”

Shaking his head and sighing at the girl’s ignorance, Beckham reached out to pat her on the shoulder.

However,

As he patted her, his brow furrowed involuntarily.

Sensing the disdain in the girl’s emerald eyes, Beckham’s muscles bulged. Being looked down upon by such a savage little girl made him extremely displeased. He intended to teach this little brat a lesson; once she was wailing beneath him, she would know the consequences of insulting a member of Sunlight.

But,

Just as Beckham’s right hand was about to forcefully tear away the girl’s thin clothing, an unprecedented surge of agony shot from his right arm directly into his brain. In the next instant, while Beckham watched in a daze,

His right arm… the one he had used to press down on the girl’s shoulder—

Was inexplicably ripped clean off his body by the girl before him…

In an instant,

Blood splattered everywhere.

The crimson blood spraying from the stump of his arm dyed Beckham’s white robes red and draped the girl in a veil of gore.

“AAAAAAAAAAHHH!! MY… MY… MY ARM!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!”

The intense pain caused Beckham to let out a heart-wrenching wail. He looked at the little girl with eyes full of spite and disbelief.

He clearly hadn’t felt any magic power fluctuations from her!

She was clearly just an ordinary little girl!

Why… why was she able to rip his arm off directly?!

Beckham’s mind was consumed by terror and confusion as he desperately tried to process exactly what had happened.

Unfortunately,

The little girl had no intention of giving him time to think.

“Xiao Die, Xiao Jing, it’s time to eat.”

The ‘harmless’ little girl said softly.

In the next instant,

Under Beckham’s terrified gaze, the two quiet little white birds that had been perched on the girl’s hairpins suddenly underwent a violent transformation. In a flash, they turned into bloodthirsty, monstrous birds with glowing red eyes, erupting with a horrifying black aura!

The moment he felt this aura, Beckham’s pupils shrank violently.

“Abyssal Demons?!”

Beckham likely never imagined that these would be his final words.

Before he could react, the blade-like wings of the monstrous birds swept across his waist, slicing the two-meter-tall brute clean in half! Crimson blood stained the earth, and the organs flying through the air further incited the monsters’ ferocity.

After letting out sharp, piercing screeches,

The two monstrous birds turned into streaks of black light, lunging toward the remaining four stunned church members.

In an instant,

The earth shook and the mountains trembled.

The savage laughter of the monsters and the shrill screams of the church members shattered the silence by the riverside.

“Lily!!”

Seeing his teammate’s heart gouged out by a monstrous bird, Pix gripped his sword hilt with trembling hands. The hatred in his heart was like a bursting flood, drowning his reason.

“You bastard!!”

Staring fixedly at the little girl nearby, Pix let out a soul-shaking roar.

Though he didn’t know why this girl could command Abyssal Demons, she was undoubtedly the culprit. She was the one who summoned those two Abyssal Demons to ambush his defenseless teammates!

The thought of avenging his comrades took over Pix’s mind.

A powerful, pale blue sword energy erupted from his body, coating the Holy Sword in his hand and transforming it into a five-meter-long energy greatsword radiating destructive waves! The formidable strength of a Sword Saint was unleashed without reservation.

The sky trembled, and the earth groaned.

The overwhelming sword energy caused space itself to gradually warp. Even the two monstrous birds nearby let out a slight tremor and instinctively retreated.

“I’ll kill you!!”

Roaring, Pix transformed into a bolt of lightning and charged straight at the girl, his blade aimed directly at her neck.

However,

Facing the Hero’s desperate strike, the girl maintained her cruel smile. She tilted her head and let out a mock cry of alarm.

“Sister!! Someone’s bullying me!!”

Hearing this, an ominous premonition surged in Pix’s heart.

In the next instant, that premonition became reality.

An earth-shattering roar suddenly exploded in his ears.

“ROAAAAAARRRR!!”

Along with the roar, the surrounding giant trees were instantly incinerated to ash by a wave of high heat. A giant white wolf lunged out from the sea of fire, its crimson vertical pupils filled with killing intent and a dense, bloodthirsty urge! The moment those eyes locked onto him, Pix felt a chill run down his spine.

As he sensed the black energy around the giant wolf, so dense it was suffocating, Pix’s expression turned to one of shock and despair.

“How is this possible… De… demon king tier?!”

After the shock came death.

The giant wolf’s fangs shredded the energy greatsword in Pix’s hand with unstoppable force. His protective sword energy, magic shield, and the hardened armor specially prepared by the church were all reduced to nothing under the wolf’s bite, shattered completely.

Also shattered was Pix’s own flesh and blood.

Looking down at the five people who had been torn to shreds, their bodies beyond recognition, the girl nonchalantly smoothed her grey hair.

“Why are there more and more of these idiots lately? It’s so annoying,” the girl complained softly.

After muttering a few words, she turned her head and looked helplessly at the giant white wolf currently tearing at Pix’s corpse. She couldn’t help but thump the wolf’s head with her small fist. “Sister, don’t eat them! If Mother sees you, you’ll get scolded again!!”

However,

The giant wolf didn’t seem to care about the warning. It went about its business, ripping off Pix’s head and holding it in its mouth. It spoke slowly in a slightly deep voice:

“This Hero had quite a lot of energy in him~ It would be such a waste not to eat him~~ Besides, Mother isn’t here right now, so relax~”

“Sigh, Sister, why don’t you ever learn?”

The girl pressed a hand to her forehead in frustration.

“Fine. When you get scolded later, don’t blame me for not warning you.”

Instinctively, the giant wolf felt something was wrong. It looked up uneasily at its smirking sister.

Soon, the giant wolf realized the reason for Li Yu’s smirk. The space behind them had begun to warp. Staring at the blood-colored spatial magic array that appeared without warning, and the Blood Butterflies fluttering near it, the giant wolf froze. The head it was holding in its mouth fell to the ground with a thud.

“No… it couldn’t be… such a coincidence…”

Under the giant wolf’s apprehensive gaze, a young girl dressed in an exquisite, flowing black robe appeared before them.

The girl looked about sixteen years old. Her figure was slender, possessing a hint of allure amidst her youthfulness.

Her satin-like black hair draped over her shoulders, the tips a blood-red crimson. Her skin was as white and translucent as snow. Her exquisite features were like a masterpiece meticulously carved by the Creator Himself, beautiful enough to make all things pale in comparison.

Her blood-colored eyes, as beautiful and clear as rubies, were filled with a soul-captivating magic power.

As the black-haired girl narrowed her eyes slightly, the endless pressure of a supreme being manifested.

When those cold, murderous eyes locked onto the giant wolf, the latter felt a chill down its spine and couldn’t help but tremble.

In the next moment,

The black-haired girl pursed her lips and snapped in displeasure,

“Li Mo! How many times have I told you! You are not allowed to eat those things! You brat, is your backside itching for a spanking again?!”

The girl’s voice was as beautiful as a flowing spring, refreshing to the soul, but it carried an indescribable weight of oppression.

It scared the giant wolf named ‘Li Mo’ so much that its whole body shook. It let out a pathetic “Awoo~” and even shrank down, transforming into a ‘Husky.’ Without another word, it hid behind its younger sister, Li Yu, looking at the black-haired girl with a timid gaze.

Seeing this, the black-haired girl shook her head helplessly. She then turned a stern gaze toward the grey-haired girl protecting the ‘Husky’.

“Li Yu, you too! Didn’t I tell you not to take the initiative to provoke Heroes? I still need them to do things for the ‘female lead’!”

“Sorry, Mother.”

Li Yu nodded obediently.

However, not a hint of regret could be read in her emerald eyes.

Simply put: I know I was wrong, but I’ll do it again next time…

“Sigh.”

Looking at these two troublesome ‘daughters,’ the black-haired girl sighed and rubbed her temples with her index finger.

“Why are you two so difficult to look after…”

The black-haired girl’s name was Fan Yumo. She was the creator of Li Mo and Li Yu, and the target those church knights had always wanted to destroy, the source of all evil known as the ‘Hall of Ten Thousand Demons’…
