Chapter 96: Out Jumps a Monkey

“Got it!” Canyue admired it for a while happily, and said with a smile: “Oval face, peach-blossom eyes, high nose bridge, cherry lips, what a beauty! And she has the Black Power of Life, our group is going to have another strong new partner! …Empress, why do you seem unhappy?”

“I don’t have a good impression of her, how could she be so ruthless? Brother Li was a mercenary abroad for two years, I saw him fight cleanly and skillfully, but he still remembered he is a bodyguard now, and held back properly. This Ye Weiyang, every knife strike went straight for the vital points of Golden Blood, where does this kind of killing intent come from?” This was one of Little An’s doubts about Ye Weiyang, and it was a doubt based on facts.

“Bad impression, bad impression! How could she treat Golden Blood Seven like this!” Canyue was unhappy.

“If you say she is paranoid, that would be one thing, but… her attitude changed too fast! She lacks the stubbornness that a paranoid person should have. Yes, stubbornness. It is a huge contrast to her relentless persistence in attacking Golden Blood at the beginning.” The more Little An thought about it, the more uncomfortable she felt, especially since Ye Weiyang’s Power of Life could actually quickly kill other people’s Power of Life, what, what kind of thing was this?

However, she could not say the latter reason out loud, because it would easily make people think it was prejudice, or even exclusion caused by some emotions.

“The background check on Ye Weiyang should be done quickly, make it urgent.” Little An felt that guessing out of thin air would not lead to any conclusion now. Compared to this, she had delayed a lot of time communicating with Ye Weiyang, and after learning about the current progress of the Demon Extermination Operation, she felt a little relieved.

The operation was going quite smoothly, they did not encounter any strong Demon Generals again, only Queen Huang’s Demon General found a Tier 8 Demon General, but Chen Fengshi had already led Sister Yao and Liu Shuzhi straight there, with him going, the pressure on the Tier 8 Demon General should theoretically not be big.

The test data of Little Huo and Alcohol came out, that Tier 9 Female Demon General, in a suffocating state, maintained her bodily functions as usual, until her own body tissues were broken down into substances to supply life functions. Therefore, the conclusion was that there was no need for a conclusion, continuing further would cause great damage to the parasitized victim.

Little Huo rested for a while and recovered a lot of strength, directly adding another layer of cement to isolate the outside world, and then together with Alcohol, used the Power of Life to clear out the Fungal Demon cells in the Female Demon General’s body. Then they recorded the personal information of the parasitized victim and submitted it to Canyue, who would arrange for suitable personnel to carry out long-term positioned observation later, so as to avoid the victim being unknowingly infected by the Fungal Demon again and turning into a Tier 9 Demon General.

This was of course a long-term extra expense, but Canyue felt it was right, and Little An also felt it was right.

If justice was something, Canyue felt it was the willingness to suffer losses in order to take responsibility, and still maintain respect for individual life.

And what was evil? That was to avoid the expense and directly kill this victim, then everything would be over, neither needing to worry about them becoming an enemy again in the future, nor needing to pay for long-term positioned observation.

Alright, Canyue felt she was overthinking again.

In contrast, Chen Fengshi had not made a sound for a long time, and the battle song had been playing for a while too, could it be that they encountered some trouble while clearing the Tier 8 Demon General?

“What is the situation with Golden Blood Seven?”

For a moment, there was no reply, just as Canyue was about to define the situation as an emergency, she heard Chen Fengshi’s replying voice saying: “A little trouble.”

“Is it convenient to report now? Do you need support?”

“Can you arrange a Demon General responsible for blocking bullets?” Chen Fengshi really had this need.

“…Queen Huang’s Demon General is attacking the Fungal Demon’s territory, without a Parasite supplying energy, they can’t block bullets.” Canyue felt it was strange, and at the same time played the previous background recording from Chen Fengshi’s end, then heard frequent gunshots, but it did not sound like there were many.

“Let’s not talk for now.” Chen Fengshi felt very depressed, was it just him who had so many things going on? Or was he just unlucky?

Originally, he brought Sister Yao and Liu Shuzhi along to broaden their horizons, and now look at them, the three of them were hiding behind a pile of goods, like frightened birds catching the movements of that Tier 8 Demon General.

Yes, a Tier 8 Demon General, yet making Chen Fengshi so flustered.

This place was the old factory area, and inside was a warehouse.

The target was the warehouse administrator, who worked the long night shift, and was a very thin middle-aged man.

He looked like he had no strength, so frail that it seemed Chen Fengshi could punch him and send him flying to the moon with a casual swing.

In reality, he probably did not have much strength either, but, he did not rely on his fists!

This skinny Tier 8 Demon General middle-aged uncle carried two guns with him!

Moreover, he was typically a speed-agility type Demon General.

How abnormal was it to use firearms as weapons? Chen Fengshi saw it for himself today!

So what if he was strong?

He did not even have a chance to get close! He was more agile than a monkey, leaping around the cargo piles in the warehouse, it was completely a combination of his advantageous attributes and a terrain environment suitable for him to perform.

Suddenly, that uncle appeared from a pile of goods, his feet hooked onto a cardboard box, hanging upside down with his twin guns lowered, firing a continuous burst from above!

Fortunately, there were three of them with Chen Fengshi, they ran away the moment they spotted him, and by using the gaps between the cargo piles, they turned a few times and got a moment of peace again. However, their nerves were still tense, they simply did not know from where that monkey-like skinny uncle would suddenly pop out next.

Sister Yao looked around in fear, and did not forget to frequently look at Chen Fengshi, there was something she wanted to say in her eyes, and one could guess it without her opening her mouth, what she wanted to ask was most likely: ‘Is this how you lead us to exorcise ghosts? Or are we being driven by the ghosts?’

Liu Shuzhi looked like his gall was about to burst from fright, his face was pale, and his eyes revealed panic. Yes, he was not a Demon General now, he carried his past memories, he was full of confidence in bare-handed combat and such, but being chased and shot at by a gun was a first in his memory, it would be weird if he was not afraid!

Chen Fengshi hid for a while, and had almost walked around the entire warehouse, and already confirmed that it was full of equipment. Originally, it would definitely be best if they could try not to damage them. But when he first arrived, he tried to attack that monkey-like Tier 8 Demon General, and as a result, let alone catching up, he did not even touch the corner of his clothes, while his own motorcycle helmet was directly hit by two shots from the Demon General flipping and spinning in the air.

That accuracy, those fancy moves like a stunt performance, directly refreshed Chen Fengshi’s cognition, he realized that the kind of exaggerated gun skills from movies and TV could really exist in reality. Of course, the premise was the kind of enhanced bodily functions of a Tier 8 Demon General.

The current situation had long shown that he must use the goods.

But the problem was still how to arrange Sister Yao and Liu Shuzhi, if it were not for considering them, Chen Fengshi would have acted long ago.

During such a long time hiding, he had also thought it through, seeing that although Liu Shuzhi was scared enough, he was not so confused that he could not understand words.

So he took out his phone and gave them instructions.

The danger level of the coordination work they undertook seemed very low, Liu Shuzhi’s courage recovered a lot because of this, and he quickly nodded to indicate there was no problem.

Once, that monkey-like Tier 8 Demon General popped out from the side again.

The three people split into two sides, quickly dodging the gunfire.

Chen Fengshi dodged it, and then pushed hard against the pile of goods next to him!

‘Do you really think the monkey is invincible!’

With this full push from Chen Fengshi, a large pile of cargo boxes flew forward one after another, at this time, he held up a box and quickly ran forward, while looking through the gaps between the thrown cargo boxes to confirm the situation of that monkey-like Demon General.

Facing the cargo boxes flying and crashing towards him, the Demon General directly flipped and spun to the back of the pile of goods he was on.

Chen Fengshi saw this, quickly rushed forward, threw the cargo box he was holding, and directly pushed that pile of goods over with great force again!

‘I’ll let you jump!’

If the opponent was really a monkey, jumping around like this and threatening his life, he would directly burn the forest down, let’s see where the monkey could jump to!

If the cargo piles in front of him were compared to trees, he did not even need to burn them, pushing them down pile by pile was both a means of counterattack and constantly destroying the foothold of that Tier 8 Demon General.

Blocked by the cargo piles, Chen Fengshi could not see which direction the Demon General went to dodge this wave of flying cargo boxes, but it did not matter.

He directly chose a possible direction at random, and pushed again so that the stacked multi-layer cargo boxes flew around; did not see anyone? Then just turn around and choose another direction.

He ran fast, and the impact of the flying cargo boxes could maintain a certain effect for a period of time, in this way, in the huge warehouse, the goods were pushed flying in waves like this.

That Tier 8 Demon General was incredibly fast and agile, but, his limited strength and resistance to blows determined that it was hard for him to withstand the impact of the flying cargo boxes. And the guns in his hands, facing these waves of attacks from the cargo boxes, had no effect at all. Occasionally seeing Chen Fengshi through the gaps between the cargo boxes, there was no chance for him to shoot effectively.

In the warehouse, more and more goods were pushed flying, the Demon General kept moving and retreating, Chen Fengshi made up his mind to push over all the goods without hesitation, not giving him a chance to catch his breath at all, and his actions were without hesitation.

That Tier 8 Demon General avoided and moved away for a while, suddenly, two cargo boxes attacked and smashed over from behind, before he had time to react, he was smashed and sent flying by the cargo boxes!

Thus, he was hit by those flying cargo boxes pushed by Chen Fengshi just now, getting up and falling down again, and when he fell down again, he was pressed underneath by several cargo boxes.

The Demon General struggled, but, Liu Shuzhi stood on the cargo boxes, and Sister Yao stood on another one.

He could not push the cargo boxes pressing on him away.

The coordination of Sister Yao and Liu Shuzhi was just waiting, waiting to smash the Demon General with the cargo boxes.

As long as Chen Fengshi’s counterattack continued, with more and more goods in the warehouse being pushed flying, this opportunity would definitely be waited for.

That Tier 8 Demon General still wanted to continue struggling, Chen Fengshi reached into the pile of goods, grabbed his hands, and directly dragged his skinny body out forcefully, the containers scraped many injuries on his body, only, under the Fungal Demon’s recovery ability, they were rapidly recovering again.

Liu Shuzhi had only heard Sister Yao talk about such incredible things happening to him before, now seeing it with his own eyes, he was extremely shocked in his heart!

Chen Fengshi poked a finger on the back of the Demon General’s neck, knocked him out, and not long after, completed the exorcism.

Sister Yao looked at the mess in the warehouse, and asked worriedly: “What do we do about this?”

“Companions will arrange for people to clean up, but actually it is not needed. Before being exorcised, the Evil Ghost will create reasonable memories for the parasitized victim, to prevent their own existence from becoming the focus.” Chen Fengshi was not worried about this, the surveillance equipment was destroyed when they came in, he was still worried that even if Liu Shuzhi’s body shape had been altered, he was inherently too burly among ordinary people.

Sister Yao picked up the two silver handguns from the pile of goods and asked: “How do we deal with these?”

“Take them away! Throw them in the ocean later, but we cannot leave them for the Evil Ghost to continue using!” Chen Fengshi got angry when he saw the guns, he was always suppressed by these things and had to keep his head down, the enemy had them but he did not; even if he dared to use them, the enemy would not dare to use them! So frustrating!
