Chara and Rei where standing outside in the school's massive garden , relaxing and enjoying the nice afternoon weather. It was lunch break, and when they weren't stuffing their faces with food and snacks, they liked to spend it here and just hangout. This time though , Chara was unable to relax and just enjoy the break.

"Isn't it concerning?" She said suddenly, interrupting Rei who was talking about a movie with giant robots fighting a collosus alien monster from underground .

"What's concerning?" Rei asked,tilting her head in confusion.

"I dunno, maybe the fact that your friend Jerry isn't back yet?"

"Oh , Jerry? Yeah he said they'd be back by now or we should tell a teacher.." Rei said and listlessly picked at a spec of pollen on her nose, "....and I won't call us friends.." she added.

"Are you enemies then?" Chara asked ,holding back a sneeze that seemed to be triggered by watching Rei wrestle the pollen spec on her nose.

"I just think friends is a strong word..." Rei answered, blowing up at the pollen spec that just seemed to stick to the top of her nose "...we should try calling them" she said and gave herself an open palm strike right on the center of her face, making Chara jerk a bit in surprise.

"Yeah but I don't have Jerry or Trisha's numbers, I thought you were closer to them than I was?" Chara said as she reached over and helped Rei pick the pollen spec off at last.

"Yeah ... We can ask someone from their class" Rei suggested, wiggling her nose as it felt a little sore after the hard smack she gave herself.

"Wow you're such a genius" Chara said in an exagerrated manner.

"Why thank you,thoughtless mortal" Rei said, playing along , leading to a smack on the shoulder from Chara.

"Ow!"

"Let's go" Chara said and started walking off as quickly as she could ,to which Rei followed ,feeling a bit uncomfortable waking that quickly in a skirt.

The duo made their way towards class 12A , Chara walked quickly with Rei waddling behind ,trying to keep up. Chara noticed a student from 12A across the halls and immediately called out to him.

"Hey !!! Aran!!" She shouted out waving to get his attention.

The boy looked up from the little crossword puzzle in his hand and waved back at Chara.

"Hey " he said as he walked over to see what was going on .

"Hi, ...umm Chara, hi new girl" he said with a smile, greeting the two as he got to where they were.

"Shut up" Rei said and made a rather unfriendly face at him ,to his shock and confusion.

"Rei!!! Why??!!..you have to stop doing this to peop..." Chara scolded "ahhh. Nevermind, sorry about that Aran,we need your help" she added.

Aran nodded a bit choosing to try and not be scared by Rei's piercing stare. "Righhhttt... What do you need Chara?" He asked, turning his gaze to Chara.

"We need Jerry's number.." Chara said going straight to the point,"...you two hang out often ,surely you'd have it".

"Well yeah I do, but why do you guys want it, I don't remember him being friends with anyone from class A" he said, side eyeing Rei who was still staring a hole through him.

"Look..wh..why is your friend staring at me like that?" He said and moved back, feeling unsettled.

"Uggh Rem... Rei, you gotta stop doing that, look Aran, she's just always very defensive and spiteful to new people for no reason I know of, she's no harm I promise" Chara explained as best as she could and leaned in close to Aran to whisper in his ear.. "between you and I...she doesn't have many friends" she whispered as Rei squinted her eyes, Wondering what that was about.

"Ahh new girl is the agressive type of shy, got it" Aran said and snapped his fingers.

"What?" Rei asked in confusion

"Anyways....." Chara cut in, moving back to the reason for the conversation. "...we need Jerry's number because long story short,we kind of hangout with him now, and we think he might be missing as why he isn't at school now, even though he was this morning" she said all in one breath and heaved heavily after.

"Well you're right he isn't here today, but I don't know if I want to give my bro's number to a mean girl like her" He said and shrugged at Rei.

Chara sighed heavily and turned to Rei.

"Rei stop being a hostile chihuahua to people you don't know and apologize to him" she said, taking her 'parent role'.

"Ugggh I wasn't even being mean, I just don't like .....sorry Arman" Rei complained and apologized reluctantly.

"Umm...It's Aran not Arman" he said and raised a brow at Rei.

"Uggh!!! Can you two just shut up ,and Aran give me the number ,this is an emergency!!!'' Chara shouted, not interested in controlling the two's bickering.

"Yes ma'am" Aran said and reached into his pocket immediately to take out his phone.

As soon as Chara got the number she tried calling Jerry, but to no avail, the calls weren't going through.

They tried calling at least ten times , Aran even trying himself , all to no answer before deciding to go and tell a teacher about it like jerry had requested.

"What if something bad has happened to them?" Chara said ,feeling rather worried.

"I hope not" Rei muttered as she rested her head on Chara's shoulder.

"Oi move your head, old man" Chara complained , and gently pushed Rei's head away.

"Well let's see what happens, thanks Aran" Chara said and thanked Aran.

"Yeah it's no problem, but we should probably tell a teacher ..." Aran answered, pausing and scratching his head before asking ," ..and why did you call her an old ma-"

Bzzzzzt....bzzzztt ,Rei's phone rang out in a loud vibration, cutting off Aran's speech.

"Hmm it's an unknown number.." Rei muttered, staring at the screen curiously.

"we haven't been able to contact Jerry then I get a call from an unknown number.......I should hang up" she said and nodded to herself.

"No!? don't hang up, what if it's Jerry? Maybe?" Chara suggested.

"Hmmm , you're right..but he doesn't have my number, but whatever" Rei agreed and picked up the call.

"Ye-llo, who is it?" She asked as soon as she picked up the call.

"Oh Rei, it's me jerry" the voice on the phone answered rather calmly.

"Jerry?!" Rei asked , surprised, causing Aran who was walking away to turn around and Chara to sigh in relief.

"You're alive, where are you?" Rei asked, not showing any relief as she was rather unstressed about the situation the whole time.

"Well I found Trisha and now , we are on a farm". Jerry said, making a sipping sound.

"Why are you on a farm?" Rei asked.

"Well..." He paused, took another sip from whatever he was drinking and made a relaxing sigh ,"...it just khfindaa..mahahaoened" he muffled his words as it seemed he had something in his mouth.

"What the-? Are you eating and drinking on a farm right now?" Rei asked , confused by the sounds she kept hearing.

She took the phone off her ears and said quickly to Chara and Aran "Guys ,they are eating and drinking on some farm somewhere" ,before returning to the call with Jerry.

"Yeah we already called our parents , and let them know where we are, just wanted to tell you guys not to worry anymore...Trisha , please pass the smores".

"Only person who worried about you was Chara, I couldn't care less ,even now that I know you're in the witches house from Hansel and Gretel and you two are being fed so she cooks you later" . Rei replied, refusing to admit to worrying about them at all.

There was a pause from the other end of the phone before a thougful 'hmmm' and then reply, "well you will mean wizard in this case since it's an old man, and worth it, his snacks are delicious".

"Yeah whatever , so we don't have to tell any teachers right? Or start a search party "Rei asked .

"No, no need for that, we will see you guys tomorrow"

"Wait and how did you get my number, and what are you calling from" Rei asked ,curious on how Jerry contacted her.

"Well the service here doesn't seem to work,except for this specific landline installed here, so our phones won't be reachable, and as for your number, you gave it to me" Jerry replied, and could be heard smacking his lips in delight, clearly enjoying whatever he was eating.

"I gave it to you?"

"Yeah, you gave the 'phone thingy' in your own words , to me and asked me to take the number " Jerry explained.

"Thingy?...I'd never say 'thingy'" Rei reacted completely in disbelief.

"Welllll" Chara muttered from behind Rei.

"Well I don't remember doing so this time!!" Rei said, struggling to recall the events Jerry talked about.

"Also , Rei I think it's unsafe your phone doesn't have a passcode, you should put one up, i got to go now , take care" Jerry said in a hurry and hung up.

"What the?, I don't remember giving him my number honestly" Rei thought out loud , struggling to recall.

"Alright guys I'll head off now that it seems everything is fine?" Aran asked for confirmation, getting a nod from Chara who had been listening in on the call the whole time.

"By the way ,.....a little jealous he chose to call you and not me, his bro ,when he was probably missing...oh well , see you guys around. " Aran joked , rubbing the back of his head , before he walked away , waving goodbye to Chara and Rei.

"What's wrong Rei why are you so serious and tense after that call?" Chara questioned Rei's sudden switch to a serious demeanour, as she just stood there thinking about something.

"I tried to ignore it but it's concerning now, I think I am having a serious case of sleep walking, or memory loss or something " Rei said , still somewhat in deep thought.

"What do you mean?" Chara asked.

" not remembering giving my number to Jerry, blacking out and waking up at home, my mom visiting and me not remembering and the thing with that Carlo guy...they all seem like things happened with me and I wasn't there" Rei explained with a worried look on her face.

"Okay that's concerning if true,...but who on God's green is Carlo?" Said Chara.

"You know , the annoying face guy from our class, that blonde one who keeps looking at me" Rei explained as detailed and precise as she could.

"Ohhhhh. Arloh?" Asked Chara.

"Yeah that guy,..but this isn't about him!!" Rei answered and went back to sharing her concerns." What if I am slowly having ... amnesia!!!" She said with a gasp , widened her eyes and turned to face Chara.

"What's my favourite show?"Chara asked suddenly.

"Whuh?" Rei stumbled ,"even without amnesia I don't know what your favorite show is anyways ".

"Right .... just the expected answer" Chara said, "..so no you don't have amnesia " she added and started walking off to class,to which Rei followed suit.

"Alright you lazy bums!!! listen I want everyone to give a hundred percent today , you hear me?!!!" Shouted Mr dawson, the gym teacher.

The students of classes 12 A and B groaned and complained, dragging themselves into the gym hall to partake In gym class. Other than a few sport enthusiasts , grade 12B were not a very athletic bunch , most of the complaining was coming from them.

"Teacher...why can't we just skip the class for today, it is incredibly hot and we are all tired." Rei, who was probably the most unathletic of the entire class B spoke up for her class to which they all muttered words in agreement.

Mr dawson stared blankly at the students for a few seconds before just saying "No" and telling them to go and get the balls, to which there was even more loud groans and complaints, nothing he hadn't seen or heard before.

"Alright let's get you in teams of fives!!!!move it!" He ordered and started calling names of the students from off his list,making them form teams.

"Rei, victor, Flora, Arloh..." He called out and paused a bit before announcing the fifth name of their team. But Rei only needed to hear Arloh's name to get completely irritated.

"Why is he on our team?"she complained loudly.

"Seriously?!!" Arloh protested, confused about what he could possibly have done this time for her to be that irritated by him.

"Oh be quiet kid, Bel join their team" said Mr Dawson in a dismissive tone, which led to Rei being immediately pacified as soon as she heard Bel was joining her team.

"And lastly, Chara, Mac, Daniel, Layla and Hote...you're a team!!"

"Oh my goodness " Chara sighed and facepalmed as she looked to her right to see Hote who wasted no time and was mouthing the words 'student council',while staring dead at her.

"Alright kids , we are playing dodgeball, if everyone in your team gets knocked out you're out, winning team is exempt from cleaning up the gym after class", Dawson announced and blew his whistle, making the students scramble around for the rubber balls , all trying to ensure they got out of cleaning duty.

"Why are you always either clinging to me or can't stand me?" Arloh asked, picking up a ball and jogging lightly next to Rei,who was also jogging around the gym to gather as many balls as she could carry.

"There's no in-betweens with you, I'd be better off if you just ignored me entirely you know" he added and picked up another ball just before pulling Rei out of the way of a ball flying straight at her head.

"Ughh" Rei groaned and quickly wriggled out of his grasp, dropping all the balls she was carrying, "I was doing just fine ignoring you now and you had to go and touch me!!" She complained , rather annoyed.

"What is wrong with you? I just saved you from a concussion and you're annoyed I touched you with my 'filthy grimy hands'??!!" Arloh snapped back exaggeratedly.

"Well yeah, and me clinging to you? Ha!!!....You must be imagining things " Rei mocked as she eyed Arloh in a condescending manner and walked away to try and find somewhere to hide from the balls that were now flying all over the gym.

Arloh quickly followed her , not able to get over the argument, "tell me , what's the problem you seem to have with me ? And why does it go on and off?" He asked ,concerned, as he caught a rubber ball flying at him and threw it back at the classmate so hard that they fell over when it hit them in the gut.

"Look...bro!" Rei taunted ,turning around and finger poking Arloh in the chest , "you should know exactly why I don't like you".

"No...no I don't" Arloh said confused, furrowing his brows at her.

Bel who was already eliminated walked past the two and mumbled,"what's got you two lovers riled up?".

Hearing this just made Rei even more agitated and she was going to act out the frustration, on Arloh.

"You act like we are friends or something when you know very well tha-" before she could finish her complaint, Arloh grabbed her wrist pulling her out of the way of another stray ball which went on to hit victor , who was right behind them , right in the face. Rei realized she had ended up in a sort of hug with Arloh, her blood boiled, it was a challenge to 'Remi's' masculinity.

*Who does this guy think he is pulling me around like this? So annoying* Rei thought and wasted no time to aggressively push Arloh off.

"Stop pulling me around you idiot!!"

"Well stop standing in the way of flying balls you ..." Arloh rebutted, exercising constraint to not say anything extreme to her, but he couldn't deny she was really getting on his nerves.

"Oh yeah?" Rei taunted , picked up a ball on the floor close by.

"What are you doing ?" Arloh asked , as he felt uneasy with the way she stared right at him. But before Arloh could put together what was going on, she threw it at him with all her strength, bam!!! Right in the face , sending Arloh falling backwards.

"Hey hey hey!!!! What's going on here!!", Mr Dawson asked as he rushed over to the scene.

"Ha!!! In your face, in your stupid face!!!!" Rei shouted out , taunting Arloh who was on the floor with his nose bleeding.

"What the hell is your problem?" Arloh asked, finally fully pissed off, he got up quickly and sighed in frustration as he stared at Rei with annoyance. Other students had stopped playing the game and gathered around the scene, watching.

"What's going on here? You're team mates for goodness sake why are you trying to break your team mate's nose? huh child?!!" Mr Dawson quizzed Rei.

"Mr Dawson, he started it" Rei said, switching up her demeanor to fake innocence immediately, to Arloh's annoyance and a sigh of disbelief, naturally she knew the teacher would be inclined to trust that the much bigger guy would be the one to pick a fight with a girl.

"I started it?!! I'm not the one who acts like a rabbid dog for no reason!!!" Arloh snapped back immediately,extremely annoyed.

"Rabid dog!!!!!!!????" Rei shouted completely pissed by the comment.

"I'll show you rabid!!I will bite your face off!!!!!" She screamed and immediately charged at Arloh. Before anyone realized what was happening , she had jumped at him.

The crowd of students and Mr Dawson immediately went in to separate the two before anything happened.

"No!!! Let me fight , he called me rabid!!!" Rei screamed as she was peeled off of Arloh who was doing his best not to accidentally hit her while protecting himself. Rei threw a weak kick that barely reached its target as she was dragged off by one half of the class and the other half holding Arloh who quickly signalled to them he was fine and not going to fight so that they let him go.

Rei while being dragged to the other side of the huge gym was still kicking and screaming angrily at Arloh, trying to escape the horde holding her back"Meet me outside after school!!! I'll freaking ki-!!!!" Phweeeee!!!! The sound of Mr Dawson's whistle pierced everyone's ears.

"I've seen enough, since you two obviously have issues to settle , you can do that in detention!!" He shouted, pointing interchangeably at Arloh and Rei.

"What?? Why me?" Arloh sighed , placed his hands on his waist and hung his head low as he gave Rei an annoyed stare, he never went to detention.

"With him?!!! He better be put ten thousand feet away from me!!! Preferably in jail!!!" Rei shouted like a maniac,before using her mouth to blow at the stray hair hanging in front of her face as she couldn't use her hands, half the class still had her in a hold afraid she might actually do fatal damage if they let her go for even a fraction of a second.
