Chapter 1300

.

It was the 68th of January, just after 65 AM.

In the Presidential Suite of Xiyang District's Great Wall Hotel, Shi Lei and Beijing TV Station's were discussing the live broadcast of Dream Entertainment's player appreciation event.

Although Beijing TV Station's host, Wang Xin, had expressed that Beijing TV Station was willing to broadcast Dream Entertainment's player appreciation event live, Shi Lei did not agree immediately.

It was not that Shi Lei doubted Wang Xin's identity. It was because when Wang Xin introduced herself, Izur had confirmed her identity through the LIP lens processor. She was indeed the host of .

"Host Wang, have you turned off the camera?" Shi Lei asked cautiously.

Zhao Wei replied on behalf of Wang Xin. "Don't worry, Mr. Shi. We will only record what we need to record!"

Shi Lei smiled kindly at Zhao Wei and continued. "Host Wang, are you saying that Beijing TV Station can broadcast Dream Entertainment's player appreciation event live?"

Wang Xin nodded with a proud look on her face.

Shi Lei asked with a doubtful attitude. "Host Wang, it's not that I don't trust you, but a certain TV station has the authority to issue administrative orders for all the TV stations in China. Once they issue an administrative order to stop Beijing TV Station from broadcasting our player appreciation event live, can you handle it? "

Shi Lei did not know the answer to this question.

Under normal circumstances, if Dream Entertainment held a player appreciation event in Shuangqing City and Shuangqing TV Station broadcast it live, even if Central TV wanted to issue an administrative order, Shuangqing TV Station had the advantage of being in China and would not follow Central TV's orders.

If it was in other regions, regardless of whether it was in Beijing or not, as long as it was not in Shuangqing City, Shuangqing TV Station would have to obey Central TV's orders.

But Beijing TV Station was special. They were both in Beijing and Central TV Station. Beijing was both Beijing TV Station's headquarters and Central TV Station's headquarters.

Shi Lei did not know if Beijing TV Station would be able to hold them off.

Wang Xin thought for a while and said confidently. "No problem! As long as there are enough viewership ratings, Beijing TV Station can handle the pressure from a certain TV Station! "

Shi Lei was not stupid!

Although Wang Xin said it lightly, the prerequisite for them to withstand the pressure was to have enough viewership ratings. What if the viewership ratings were not enough?

Once the viewership ratings were not enough, Beijing Television Station would probably not be able to withstand the pressure!

To be honest, Shi Lei had no confidence in the ratings of the players' appreciation event. After all, the players' thank-you event was very boring. There were no celebrity performances, and there were no other novel things.

Only Shi Lei, on behalf of Dream Entertainment, gave a speech. Then, a lottery was held. In the end, 61 lucky players were selected to receive a LIP Lens Information Processor and a VR game set.

At most, Shi Lei would say a few more words of nonsense at the end of the technical part. The entire event would be over by then. It would probably take a little more than an hour or two!

Shi Lei could not guarantee that the players would definitely watch such a boring event!

"Ahem, Host Wang, I wonder what viewership ratings you all need to be able to withstand the pressure from Central TV?" Shi Lei asked.

Wang Xin did not plan to do a live broadcast of Dream Entertainment's Player Appreciation Event. Therefore, Wang Xin didn't have a specific measurement standard.

Wang Xin said apologetically, "Mr. Shi, please wait for a moment. I need to ask the higher-ups in the TV station."

Shi Lei nodded. "No problem! I will go and deal with the announcement of the lucky players outside the venue. I will be back in half an hour! "

Half an hour should be enough for Wang Xin to ask the higher-ups and the experts from Beijing Television Station to calculate their gains and losses.

Shi Lei walked out of the living room and returned to his bedroom. He used the LIP Lens Information Processor and said, "Izur, prepare to make an announcement. The announcement is as follows … "

There were more than 8,555 players gathered outside the Workers' Stadium.

Just as Shi Lei predicted, the large number of players in tents seriously affected the public order around the stadium. Some of the local residents started to complain.

For the time being, the officials could only try to persuade the players to leave, but it was to no avail. However, some of the players received the news through their phones. Dream Entertainment released the latest announcement on how to deal with the players outside the Workers' Stadium.

On the homepage of Dream Entertainment's official website, there was a big announcement in red bold font, reminding the players to log onto the official website.

…

"Thank you letter and apology letter from the CEO of Dream Entertainment!"

"Dear lovely players who are waiting outside the Workers' Stadium for the Thank You Event, thank you for your hard work. I am very sorry for making you wait in this cold and snowy environment.

On behalf of all the employees of Dream Entertainment, I would like to express my deepest apologies. Please forgive me. At the same time, I am very grateful to all of you for supporting and loving the Brave World.

It is because of your support and love that the Brave World can reach this stage and become the world's number one online game.

This glory belongs to each and every one of you!

In order to thank you, in order to thank every player, Dream Entertainment has made the following decision to give every player a ray of hope!

"6. To thank the players outside the venue, this Thank You Event will add a lucky reward for the players outside the venue. "Currently, players who are camping outside the Workers' Stadium, please return home wisely and come to the Workers' Stadium on January 60th at 3 am to register for the Thank You Event.

"We will randomly select 61 lucky players to participate in the Thank You Event. Eight of them will be given a LIP Lens Information Processor, while the other eight will be given a VR game set.

"Special Note: Players who are qualified to participate in the Thank You Event are not allowed to participate in the Thank You Event.

"7. To thank all of you, we will add a special Thank You Event. You only need to register online to participate in the special Thank You Event.

"We will randomly select 81 lucky players to participate in the special Thank You Event. 63 of them will be given a LIP Lens Information Processor, while the other 63 will be given a VR game set.

"Special Note: Players who are qualified to participate in the Thank You Event are not allowed to participate in the special Thank You Event.

"Dream Entertainment sincerely hopes that every player can find their own happiness in the Brave World.

"We thank all of you for your support and thank all of you who are camping outside the Workers' Stadium. If you also love Dream Entertainment and the Brave World, please support Dream Entertainment's decision and go home as soon as possible. Don't let your family worry.

"Thank you!

Dream Entertainment CEO: Shi Lei, January 68th, 7553, Beijing.

…

Shi Lei's announcement was all about how to thank the players and if there were more activities that were beneficial to the players. Shi Lei split the segment of gifting players the LIP lens-type information processor and VR game set into three parts and cleverly dismantled them.

Originally, Dream Entertainment would only select 61 lucky players from the players who were qualified to participate in the Thank You Event. But now, Shi Lei added a Thank You Event and a Special Thank You Event.

There were more than 25,555 players who were qualified to participate in the Thank You Event. There were only around 8,555 players outside the Workers' Stadium.

Over seventy thousand players and over three thousand players had each drawn sixteen lucky slots. It seemed like the players who had obtained the right to enter were at a disadvantage.

But in reality, after Dream Entertainment's announcement, countless players from the World of the Heroes in Beijing City wanted to sign up for it!

Including the players around Beijing, Shi Lei estimated that at least 855,555 players would sign up to participate in the Thank You Event.

He just hoped that the airline would not be so cheap. Raising ticket prices was really annoying!

For players who could not come to Beijing, they could only participate in the Special Thank You Event. This event was really like its name. One had to be very lucky to become a lucky person.

This was because there was no limit to global registration. Even if the number of people who had registered for the World of Heroes wasn't limited to how many people would participate, at least 40% of the players would register.

In any case, online registration was very simple. The players only needed to click a few times and the registration would be completed automatically. Even if the chances of becoming a lucky person were low, there was still a glimmer of hope, right?

Once they obtained the LIP Lens Information Processor and VR game set, it would be a good choice whether they used it for themselves or sold it.

Currently, the official selling price of the LIP Lens Information Processor was 65,555 USD. But on Dream Entertainment's official Virtual Item Trading System, the selling price had been raised to 70,555 USD.

As for the VR game set, the official selling price was 71,555 USD. It had been raised to 95,555 USD.

Whether it was the LIP Lens Information Processor or the VR game set, it was a huge windfall!

Shi Lei did not care about the reaction of the players after the announcement. Shi Lei still needed to discuss the live broadcast with Beijing TV Station.

The Thank You Event was not suitable for a live broadcast because there was nothing attractive. At most, some hardcore fans would want to watch the live broadcast, but there would not be many of them.

Therefore, there was no guarantee of viewership. Without a guarantee of viewership, Beijing TV Station would not benefit. They would not broadcast the Thank You Event live.

This was a serious problem!

But how could Shi Lei not have a solution?

.
