Chapter 1335

.

Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, two days had passed. It was now South Africa, January 75th, 4 am.

Rongcheng Military District's team had finished setting up the temporary assembly workshop. A rough, dust-free environment couldn't completely stop the dust, but it was more or less effective.

In the temporary assembly workshop, Lu Fang had already led the team to finish the assembly of two Iron Ships and installed eight Flying Arrow missiles on them.

They were Shi Lei's toys!

Shi Lei was only responsible for dealing with problems that Rongcheng Military District's team couldn't solve. He wasn't personally involved in everything. If Shi Lei had to deal with any small problem, how could Shi Lei have agreed to be He Zhenbang's technical advisor?

"Professor Lu, you guys continue with your work. I'm going out to play!" Shi Lei said to Lu Fang.

Lu Fang nodded. "Okay, Major Shek. Oh right, these two Iron Ships don't have the right to start up yet. "

The Iron Ships that Rongcheng Military District sold to Kruger National Park naturally didn't have the right to start up under Rongcheng Military District's control. Did Kruger National Park need to apply to Rongcheng Military District to use the Iron Ships?

That didn't make sense!

The Iron Ships that belonged to Kruger National Park naturally had the right to start them up. However, the Iron Ships hadn't been delivered yet, so they didn't have the right to start them up.

Shi Lei nodded. "Okay, very good!" Then, Shi Lei hooked his finger at the two Iron Ships, and the two Iron Ships immediately started up.

Lu Fang didn't find it strange. He knew that Shi Lei had the right to control the Iron Ships. After all, the Iron Ships' control system was controlled by Shi Lei, and it was a closed source system.

"Let's go!" Shi Lei turned around and walked out of the temporary assembly workshop. He raised his right hand and waved. The two Iron Ships maintained low power and followed behind Shi Lei.

Outside the temporary assembly workshop, which was also a warehouse in the office base of Kruger National Park, Shi Lei sat in the off-road vehicle that Harvey prepared for him and sped out of Kruger National Park.

The Kruger National Park was about 955 kilometers away from the Kampas area, but the road mileage was close to 155 kilometers.

After Shi Lei left the Krug National Park, he contacted Ye Feng through the LIP lens information processor.

"A Feng, are you ready?" Shi Lei asked. On the virtual transparent screen of the LIP lens information processor, Izur had already marked out Ye Feng's location.

Ye Feng replied, "Boss, we're ready. We're at the agreed upon location."

"Wait, I still have about five minutes!" Shi Lei stepped on the gas, and the off-road vehicle's speed suddenly increased. About five minutes later, Shi Lei arrived outside of a forest. On the road outside of the forest, there was a huge closed container truck.

Shi Lei drove the off-road vehicle into the forest, and two Iron Ships carrying eight Arrow missiles landed in front of the truck.

As soon as they landed, Zheng San Pao and Ma Liang took Chen Xingrui and Zhu Mingxuan to quickly dismantle the eight Arrow missiles and install them on the missile launchers of the third generation Iron Ships.

Shi Lei stood beside Ye Feng and asked, "A Feng, did you find out anything?"

Ye Feng shook his head. "Boss, we just got here, and we're not familiar with the place, so we can't find out anything important." Ye Feng brought a piece of bad news.

Shi Lei was not disappointed. He only said lightly, "It looks like we need to observe the Kampas area closely."

"Understood!" Ye Feng opened the front passenger door of the closed container truck and gestured for Shi Lei to get in. He then sat in the driver's seat.

Zheng San Pao and the other three did not sit in the second row. Instead, they returned to the rear compartment. They were equipped with the second generation The First Light, so that they could enter the battle at any time in case of an emergency.

The two third generation Iron Ships were also in the closed container truck. They did not move out alone. This time, the big truck was going to take a public highway. It was not suitable for the Iron Ships to be exposed. As for the two first generation Iron Ships? They were parked in the forest.

About four hours later, the big truck was still two hours away from the Kampas area. However, Shi Lei chose to stop. Because the highway did not end in the Kampas area.

Shi Lei had estimated that the distance of 155 kilometres would be the closest point to the Kampas area. However, the current point was very close to the Kampas area. It was less than 655 kilometres in a straight line.

Within this 655 kilometre radius, it was all barren grassland. There were no signs of human habitation. Shi Lei ordered Ye Feng to drive the closed container truck carefully away from the highway.

In order to prevent any kind people from disturbing them, the big truck drove for about one kilometre on the barren grassland. When they could no longer see any vehicles driving on the highway, Shi Lei decided to stop.

Now, they were less than 655 kilometres away from the Kampas area. Shi Lei could release the third generation Iron Ships to explore the Kampas area with ease.

Under Shi Lei's orders, the two third generation Iron Ships flew out smoothly from the container truck's trunk. The stability of the third generation Iron Ships' flight was far superior to that of the first generation Iron Ships. Although the container truck's trunk was smaller, it did not cause any trouble for the Iron Ships.

Shi Lei checked the map information displayed by Izur in the LIP lens information processor. Then, he ordered in a silent voice, "Izur, control the two third generation Iron Ships and explore the Kampas area in a clockwise direction!"

"Yes, sir!" Izur responded to Shi Lei.

The third generation Iron Ships' cruising speed reached 975 kilometres per hour. For the third generation Iron Ships, it would take less than 60 minutes to cover a distance of less than 655 kilometres.

In order to prevent the third generation Iron Ships from being detected by radar, Shi Lei ordered Izur to control the Iron Ships' flying altitude. They were about one meter above the ground and flew at an extremely low altitude.

The third generation Iron Ships were designed with an all-electric design. Although its silent ability was not as good as Shadow Dragon's, it was definitely outstanding. After the two third generation Iron Ships flew out, Shi Lei put on the second generation The First Light.

If the third generation Iron Ships were to explore the Kampas area in detail, Shi Lei would personally go to the Kampas area when necessary.

Thirteen minutes later, the third generation Iron Ships were less than five kilometres away from the Kampas area.

Izur prompted, "Sir, the Iron Ships have detected an anomaly!"

On the virtual transparent screen of the LIP lens information processor, Shi Lei checked the images sent back by the third generation Iron Ships. Due to the existence of neutrino communication technology, big data transmission and zero-delay technology had basically been achieved.

The images sent back by the third generation Iron Ships seemed to have no problems at all!

"Izur, what's the anomaly?" Shi Lei asked.

"Please wait a moment, sir. The main system is performing a logical analysis. The data detected by the Iron Ships has a small optical line of sight error. The main system is performing calculations to verify whether this small data error is caused by the shaking of the Iron Ships' fuselage, air distortion caused by temperature, or other reasons." Izur did not immediately answer Shi Lei. The main system only determined that the Iron Ships had detected an anomaly.

In the images sent back by the Iron Ships, the Kampas area seemed to be no different from the surrounding area. It was completely a barren grassland.

If one were to judge with the naked eye, there was no way to sense anything wrong.

"Izur, have you not calculated it yet?" Shi Lei said impatiently.

Izur was an advanced pseudo-artificial intelligence system and had the resources of IWN's Secret Network and the supercomputer Lightning. Why did it take so long to calculate such a huge amount of computing resources?

"Please wait a moment, sir. The main system is eliminating environmental variables," Izur responded simply and then fell silent.

Shi Lei could only continue to wait while checking the images displayed on the virtual transparent screen of the LIP lens information processor.

The two third generation Iron Ships were following Shi Lei's instructions and slowly moving in a clockwise direction around the Kampas area to survey the situation.

After about three minutes, Shi Lei's patience was almost exhausted when Izur finally gave an answer.

"Sir, after a series of logical inferences and precise calculations, the main system has eliminated variables such as the shaking of the Iron Ships' fuselage, air distortion caused by uneven temperature, optical detector malfunctions, and calculation errors. There is an optical displacement layer in the Iron Ships' survey area! "

As Izur explained, an animation was displayed on the virtual transparent screen of the LIP lens information processor.

The so-called optical displacement layer, according to Izur's explanation, could be simply understood as a hemispherical glass cover. The Kampas area was covered by this hemispherical glass cover. This glass cover could directly refract the scene from the north to the south.

No, to be precise, it should be that any diagonal scene could all be refracted to the other side.

In other words, it was impossible to detect the Kampas area through optical observation. This was because this optical displacement layer directly blocked the optical image of the Kampas area.

Shi Lei was shocked by Izur's conclusion!

This was his f * cking optical invisibility technology!

The optical invisibility technology that the whole world could not overcome had actually appeared in the Kampas area, and the Kampas area was obviously related to the Angel Council. If this technology was applied to fighter jets or warships, it would be a trump card technology that could allow a country to dominate the world!

Shi Lei resisted the idea of retreating. He had to figure out one thing now. Was this optical displacement layer a secret technology of the Angel Council or a natural phenomenon in the Kampas area?

If the Angel Council mastered optical invisibility technology, then the consequences …
