Chapter 274

.

The Steel Model wasn't equipped with a weapon system and was just a toy helicopter that was one size bigger. It didn't give off the feeling of having one's blood boil.

Li Yuan had once witnessed the Steel Model displaying its prowess in Nanyue State and annihilating a 45-man company from Nanyue State.

Especially when the Flying Arrow A air-to-surface missile was launched and annihilated the Nanyue State's armored vehicles. Li Yuan was fascinated when he saw it through the binoculars.

Unfortunately, after returning to Rongcheng Military District, Li Yuan had applied for the Flying Arrow multiple times, but none of them were approved. In the end, he didn't get to experience the greatest pleasure of the Steel Model.

After hearing Shi Lei's words, Li Yuan quickly nodded. "Shi Lei, do you have any good ideas?"

Shi Lei smiled and said, "Let's look for Commander Lu Qiang!"

Li Yuan was a little unhappy. He whispered to Shi Lei about the factions in Rongcheng Military District. Li Yuan's grandfather, the current commander of Rongcheng Military District, was an independent faction.

The current deputy commander of Rongcheng Military District, He Zhenbang, was another faction. Lu Qiang and Shi Andou belonged to He Zhenbang's faction.

As the third generation successor of Li Long's faction, Li Yuan was extremely unwilling to come into contact with He Zhenbang's faction.

Shi Lei was slightly startled as he started to worry.

He seemed to have gotten involved in a faction dispute?

"Li Yuan, apart from Lu Qiang, is there anyone else who has the qualifications to issue the Flying Arrow series missiles?" Shi Lei inquired.

Li Yuan coughed. "Department Head Yang Dingtian of the Equipment Department has the authority. However, Yang Dingtian belongs to the neutral faction. He doesn't support us or the other party. Furthermore, he is an impartial person. I'm afraid it will be difficult to obtain the Flying Arrow series missiles from him. "

"Yang Dingtian? Ming Cult? "Shi Lei asked awkwardly. This name was great!

Li Yuan looked at Shi Lei with disdain. "Muyi Yang, not the yang of the sun. Originally, there were several people in the Equipment Department who had the authority to approve the Flying Arrow series missiles. However, after the Steel was born, it could carry the Arrow series missiles, and the Arrow series missiles were listed as a controlled material. If you want to obtain the Flying Arrow missile series, you need a valid military reason. Furthermore, you need Yang Dingtian's personal signature before the Equipment Department will issue it. "

Shi Lei chuckled and pointed at himself. "We have a legitimate military reason!"

"Oh? What's the reason? "Li Yuan asked.

"Li Yuan, do you know that I developed the FCH system?" Shi Lei pretended to be serious and said, "I recently discovered a loophole in the FCH system. It may cause the Flying Arrow series missiles to be automatically launched without permission."

Li Yuan was shocked. "Really?"

Shi Lei blinked. "What do you think?"

"Ah!" Li Yuan understood Shi Lei's meaning and pretended to be serious. "The FCH system actually has such a serious bug. Shi Lei, you must complete the modification as soon as possible!"

Shi Lei pretended to be in a difficult position. "Li Yuan, if you want to fix this bug, you must first understand the situation of this bug. However, the Steel doesn't have any Flying Arrow series missiles to test, and I don't know how to find the bug. "

"If that's the case, Shi Lei, I will bring you to the Equipment Department. Report this situation to Minister Yang Dingtian and request for some Flying Arrow series missiles. "Li Yuan's eyes revealed a deep smile, but his face was serious.

The two returned the Steel to the hangar in the training ground and drove the off-road jeep to the Equipment Department.

After arriving at the Equipment Department, Li Yuan was still leading the way.

Although the Equipment Department's Minister, Yang Dingtian, was a neutral party, Li Yuan's identity still played a role here. They arrived at Yang Dingtian's office without any obstructions.

Li Yuan politely knocked on Yang Dingtian's office door and waited for a "Enter." Only then did Li Yuan bring Shi Lei in.

Yang Dingtian's face was firm, and he had a serious expression that didn't like to smile. He had an imposing aura without being angry.

He casually glanced at Li Yuan and Shi Lei and said expressionlessly, "Li Yuan, I have told you many times that the Flying Arrow series missiles will not be approved for you to use."

Li Yuan smiled embarrassedly. "Uncle Yang, I am not here to ask for the Flying Arrow missiles!"

Yang Dingtian was slightly surprised. "If you don't want the Flying Arrow missiles, then what do you want?"

Shi Lei's eyes revealed a smile. So Li Yuan only came to the Equipment Department when he wanted something?

Li Yuan coughed awkwardly and said to Yang Dingtian, "Uncle Yang, this is Shi Lei. He is one of the designers of the Steel and the developer of the FCH system. "

Shi Lei nodded respectfully. "Minister Yang, nice to meet you. I am Shi Lei!"

Yang Dingtian turned to look at Shi Lei with a scrutinizing gaze. Shi Lei didn't avoid Yang Dingtian's gaze. His eyes were clear and bright.

"Young man, not bad!" Yang Dingtian praised.

Shi Lei said modestly, "Thank you, Minister Yang!"

Yang Dingtian looked at Li Yuan again. "Li Yuan, why did you bring Shi Lei to the Equipment Department? Just say it. I am very busy with work! "

Li Yuan scratched his head and said, "Uncle Yang, Shi Lei is here to look for you. We were just testing the Steel's data at the Steel's training ground. Shi Lei said that he found a loophole in the FCH system. "

Li Yuan repeated Shi Lei's words in one breath. This kid's face didn't turn red, and he didn't even pant. Furthermore, he spoke with a righteous tone as if there was really such a thing.

Yang Dingtian looked at Li Yuan suspiciously. He then looked at Shi Lei and asked, "Shi Lei, is what Li Yuan said true?"

"Yes, Minister Yang!" Shi Lei nodded in response.

Yang Dingtian's eyes suddenly turned stern. "How dare you! Shi Lei, do you know that lying about military intelligence is a serious military crime? "

Li Yuan panicked. He was afraid that Shi Lei would reveal a flaw.

But he had really underestimated Shi Lei. Although the other party was the leader of a military unit and had the rank of lieutenant general, Shi Lei only respected him and didn't fear him.

"Minister Yang, I am speaking the truth. Of course, if you think that it is a lie, then I have nothing to say. It will take some effort to modify the FCH system. It is good that you don't modify it. It saves me the trouble of wasting my time. "Shi Lei smiled and said.

Yang Dingtian looked at Shi Lei sternly. He would rather believe it than not. After all, he didn't know anything about the FCH system or computer software.

"How do we fix the loophole in the FCH system?" Yang Dingtian asked.

Shi Lei opened his mouth and said, "Regarding the FCH system, under certain circumstances, it will automatically launch the Flying Arrow series missiles. I have already detected three suspicious points in the FCH system. But I don't know if it is one of the three suspicious points for the time being. We need to test the Flying Arrow series missiles before we can know! "

Yang Dingtian snorted and looked at Li Yuan. "Li Yuan, kid, you better pray that you are not lying to me. Otherwise, Li Yuan, I will definitely teach you a lesson! "

Li Yuan waved his hand. "Uncle Yang, you have watched me grow up. Don't you know what kind of person I am? How can I lie to you? "

Yang Dingtian ignored Li Yuan's words and said to Shi Lei, "How many Flying Arrow missiles do we need for the test?"

Shi Lei thought for a moment. He couldn't ask for too many, but it was meaningless to ask for too little. He said, "We need fifty Flying Arrow A and Flying Arrow B air-to-air missiles each. We should be able to find the loophole. If there are any leftovers, we will return them to the Equipment Department. "

Yang Dingtian took a deep breath and clenched his fist. He stared at Shi Lei.

"Shi Lei, although you are the developer of the FCH system, I hope that you can submit a detailed explanation of the modification process!" After he finished speaking, Yang Dingtian picked up the telephone on the table and dialed it. He ordered the Equipment Department to prepare a hundred Flying Arrow series missiles.

Li Yuan couldn't hide the surprise in his eyes.

Shi Lei said calmly, "Director Yang, don't worry. The loophole in the FCH system will definitely be eradicated."

Yang Dingtian instructed Li Yuan. "Li Yuan, kid, test the Flying Arrow missiles. Pay attention to your safety!"

Li Yuan and Shi Lei walked out of the Equipment Department and drove a jeep off-road vehicle. Behind them was a large truck. The large truck was loaded with a hundred Flying Arrow series missiles.

Li Yuan drove directly to the hangar of the other Steel Aircraft. That was the live ammunition practice field.

On the live ammunition practice field, Li Yuan arranged for the staff of the training field to mount the missiles on the two Steel Aircraft.

Li Yuan looked at Shi Lei and provoked, "Shi Lei, do you have the guts to compete with me?"

Shi Lei said proudly, "Li Yuan, don't cry if you lose!"

The two of them explained the Steel Aircraft and flew twenty kilometers away. In the flight test field of the Rongcheng Military District, two Steel Aircraft were fighting in the air.

Shi Lei and Li Yuan only used the MP2 submachine guns on the aircraft to fight.

As for the Flying Arrow series missiles, they didn't plan to use them. This was because the Steel Aircraft didn't have the ability to dodge missiles. The air-to-air missiles would definitely hit the Steel Aircraft!

The two Steel Aircraft fought for a while, but there wasn't a clear winner.

Li Yuan immediately said to the two staff members beside him, "Let the target aircraft take off!"

The so-called target aircraft was the aircraft that was used as a target. After the Steel Aircraft was quickly installed, the remote-controlled reconnaissance aircraft in the Rongcheng Military District were quickly withdrawn from the assembly stage. They became scraps that were parked in the hangar and could only be used as target aircraft.

Two remote-controlled reconnaissance aircraft took off and flew towards the two Steel Aircraft.

The Steel Aircraft's small radar immediately discovered the two remote-controlled reconnaissance aircraft. Furthermore, the radar aiming system locked onto the two reconnaissance aircraft.

Li Yuan used the radar aiming system proudly and locked onto one of the remote-controlled reconnaissance aircraft. He immediately launched the Flying Arrow B air-to-air missile!

That remote-controlled reconnaissance aircraft was immediately blasted into pieces by the Flying Arrow B air-to-air missile.

Li Yuan wasn't satisfied. Instead, he continued to lock onto the other remote-controlled reconnaissance aircraft and launched another Flying Arrow B air-to-air missile.

Shi Lei smiled as he looked at Li Yuan attacking the two remote-controlled reconnaissance aircraft. He didn't have any intention to make a move.

"Hahaha, I won! Shi Lei, I won! "Li Yuan looked at Shi Lei proudly.

Shi Lei shrugged and said, "If you win, you win! Li Yuan, what's the point of playing like this? "

Li Yuan's smile froze. "Shi Lei, you mean …"
