Chapter 91

Shi Lei had met Ye Feng for the first time in the back street. After hearing Ye Feng's story, Shi Lei had a plan for Ye Feng. A loyal and righteous elite special forces soldier, and a desperate one at that. He was definitely a rare talent!

In his previous life, Shi Lei had been abandoned by the mysterious organization he belonged to. In the end, he had been killed by a missile. Although it was a blessing in disguise and he had been reborn six years ago, what if he had not been reborn?

Faced with such a powerful and immeasurable organization, Shi Lei had a deep sense of helplessness and fear. In order to fight against that organization, Shi Lei had been planning to develop his own forces.

Ye Feng was the first and most important part of this plan. Shi Lei had used his hacking skills to help Ye Feng escape the pursuit of the country's forces. He had also sent Ye Feng to Voisin. That was because Shi Lei wanted Ye Feng to build an international mercenary organization for himself!

In a peaceful era, this was the only way to have armed forces!

However, building an international mercenary organization was definitely not something that could be done just by opening one's mouth. There were many problems involved in this, and the most important one was money!

An international mercenary organization needed a large amount of money before it could be formed. Whether it was building a headquarters, recruiting soldiers, purchasing equipment, or paying the mercenary members, all of these required a large amount of money!

Shi Lei was poor and could not afford all these expenses. That was why he had written the smiley-face detection program and sold it at a high price. This money was the first step of the start-up capital.

After nine o 'clock in the evening, Qian Yue and Qian Xue finally received an email in their mailbox. Shi Lei quickly read it and immediately replied to ask for the other party's phone number.

After sending the email, Shi Lei controlled the dorm's desktop computer and accessed Shuangqing University's public server. Then, through the public server, he accessed the mobile service base and changed the information of his phone number. He temporarily grafted his phone number to an unconnected number to prevent the police from eavesdropping.

Qian Yue and Qian Xue's email reply came quickly. As soon as Shi Lei finished grafting the phone number, the email reply came. Shi Lei used his phone to dial a number that was obviously Voisin. Luckily, he was in the mobile service base and had already activated the international call function.

"Hello?" Shi Lei asked tentatively.

Ye Feng's voice came through the phone. "Shi Lei, what's the matter?"

Shi Lei subconsciously whispered, "Ye Feng, how's the situation over there? Is everything safe? "

Ye Feng replied, "Everything is normal. Voisin and Xia don't have a good relationship. Both sides haven't signed an extradition treaty. With the power of Xia's police department, there's no way they can bring me back."

"Oh!" Shi Lei thought for a while and continued to ask, "Ye Feng, how's Xiaoling's situation? Have you found a suitable bone marrow match? "

Ye Feng said excitedly, "Found it! We're currently arranging for a bone marrow transplant operation. If everything goes well, there's a high chance she'll recover completely! "

Shi Lei also smiled happily. If something happened to Deng Xiaoling, Ye Feng would have a hard time dealing with it. "Ye Feng, do you still remember your promise?"

Ye Feng was silent for a while and said firmly, "Shi Lei, I didn't forget my promise. You've already fulfilled my request and sent us safely abroad. From now on, my life is yours, Ye Feng! However, I hope you can give me some time. I want to repay you after Xiaoling's surgery is over! "

"Mm, don't worry!" Shi Lei asked, "Ye Feng, after Xiaoling recovers, what are you going to do if you stay in Voisin?"

Ye Feng thought to himself. Although he could speak Japanese, he was an elite special forces soldier. All his survival skills were born for the battlefield. City life wasn't suitable for him at all! Whether it was working from nine to five or running his own business, it wasn't suitable for people like him!

"What do you think?" Ye Feng asked in return.

Shi Lei began to speak in a declarative tone, "Given Xia's situation, I'm afraid it'll be very difficult for you to come back openly in this lifetime. I don't think you want Xiaoling to return to the country alone, right? After Xiaoling recovers from her surgery, she should also be receiving education. How are you going to settle her down? If she stays in Voisin and lives a stable life, what are you going to do to maintain your livelihood? Although you have four million yuan, you won't be able to maintain Voisin's standard of living for long! "

Ye Feng said in a serious tone, "Shi Lei, what are your plans?" He had already guessed that Shi Lei must have made corresponding arrangements. In this world, there was no such thing as unconditional love or unconditional hatred. Shi Lei was willing to help them, so he must have some ulterior motive.

"Ye Feng, I'll get straight to the point. As an elite special forces soldier, I'm afraid you're not used to city life, right? I'm going to send you to Africa to set up an international mercenary organization. "

Ye Feng's breath caught and he said in a serious tone, "Shi Lei, what are you trying to do? Although my country has let me down, I will never help you commit crimes! "

Shi Lei chuckled. "Ye Feng, do you think I'm a good person?"

"Shi Lei, although it looks like you're a good person at the moment, I'll still say the same thing. But I still stand by my words, I will not let my country down! " Ye Feng's attitude was very firm. As a soldier who was born under the red flag, even if his country had let him down, Ye Feng's attitude towards his country was still that loyal!

"Alright, alright, I'll take it that I'm scared of you!" Shi Lei wasn't joking. He said in a serious tone, "Ye Feng, what I'm going to say next is up for you to listen. Otherwise, I can send you out of here safely, but I can also make sure you die a horrible death in Voisin! "

Ye Feng felt a chill run down his spine. "Shi Lei, just say it! I promise to keep my mouth shut! "

Shi Lei snorted coldly. "I have an enemy! A very powerful enemy! But this enemy hasn't noticed me yet. I have to use this time to develop myself as much as I can! Otherwise, once the enemy discovers me, I won't be able to resist at all! Do you understand? "

"Shi Lei, you're saying that you're going to train an international mercenary group to fight against that enemy?" Ye Feng seemed to understand a little.

"Something like that!" Shi Lei shook his head. That enemy was definitely not an existence that an international mercenary group could fight against! "Ye Feng, I'll give you two million US dollars in one go as the initial development fund. Based on your experience, how much can two million US dollars do? "

Ye Feng thought for a moment, then explained to Shi Lei, "Shi Lei, two million US dollars is about enough to support a small team of twenty people for a year!"

Shi Lei frowned. This figure was too different from what he had expected. "Each person needs to spend a hundred thousand US dollars a year?"

Ye Feng explained, "A hundred thousand US dollars isn't that high. Forty thousand US dollars is for the personnel's salary, and ten thousand US dollars is for food, nutrition, accommodation, etc. The remaining fifty thousand US dollars is for equipment maintenance, medical treatment, mission allowances, and compensation for battle losses. "

"Wait! Ye Feng, I didn't make it clear just now. I'm not asking you to have combat ability and carry out missions directly. I'm going to ask you to recruit and train a group of loyal soldiers, and not directly hire other mercenaries. If you only set up a base in Africa and train the new recruits, then what about two million US dollars? How many people can you maintain with two million US dollars? "

Ye Feng calculated again. "If it's just training and live ammunition training, you can maintain about two hundred people! The biggest expense comes from equipment and ammunition consumption. "

Shi Lei's eyes lit up. "Good! You have connections for equipment and ammunition, right? "

"No problem!" Ye Feng was also secretly excited. As a special forces soldier, he longed to be on the battlefield! He did not want to stay in the city!

"Let's leave it at that for now. You discuss this with Ma Liang and Zheng Sanpao first. After Xiao Ling's surgery is completed, we'll carry out this plan!" The first phase of Shi Lei's grand plan had officially begun!

After hanging up the phone, Shi Lei deleted the call record from the mobile service base. Then, he cleared all the hacking records and returned to Shuangqing University's public server.

Then, he used the search engine to search for the map of Africa and the situation of Africa's various countries. He analyzed which country was the most suitable to set up a military training base.

Africa had always been the source of war. There had never been a day when the war stopped. Big and small battles happened every day. It was not that they were willing to go to war, but the interest groups behind each country were manipulating them to go to war!

Shi Lei first gave up on the prosperous countries, then gave up on the countries with strong military strength. He selected a list of countries.

All these countries were involved in small-scale wars or conflicts. They were extremely poor, and some areas were even starving all year round!

Only in areas of poverty and starvation could they recruit enough soldiers!

After skimming through the situation of these countries, Shi Lei made a simple note and did not pay attention to it anymore. It was better to let Ye Feng make the final decision on these professional issues.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Li Chai's hoarse voice came in.

"Stone Head, are you asleep?"

After Shi Lei opened the door, Li Chai was standing outside with red eyes. He had changed into a clean set of clothes. His face was full of sadness.

"Xiao Li, what's the matter?" Shi Lei asked in a natural tone. He did not mention anything about Wang Min.

Li Chai hesitated for a moment and said, "Stone Head, I want to drink!"

Shi Lei frowned. But when he thought about Li Chai's situation, it might not be a bad thing to let him get drunk.

"Xiao Li, can you hold your liquor well?"

Li Chai nodded. "Stone Head, I can hold my liquor well. Don't worry!"

Shi Lei thought for a moment. "Alright, I'll bring you to the bar today! I'll let you see the most luxurious bar in Shuanghu District! "
