Chapter 411: Day 16 into the Mary Sue Story
Chapter 411: Day 16 of Falling Into a Mary Sue Novel
Ye Ming tried to dig his foot into the ground and attack An Yi with his other hand, but An Yi's movements seemed casual yet precisely controlled his center of gravity and where he applied his force, making all his resistance useless and just making him look even more pathetic.
"You... let go of me! An Yi! Don't you know who I am?! How dare you..." Ye Ming, both shocked and furious, growled under his breath, but An Yi cut him off coldly.
"Like I'm scared of you? And why are you yelling?" An Yi's voice wasn't loud. "Don't you know you're supposed to be quiet in the library?"
He kept dragging the struggling Ye Ming toward the door, saying in that calm, almost robotic tone, "It's called basic manners."
"You...!" Ye Ming was so furious his vision went dark, like his lungs were about to explode.
The library's automatic glass doors sensed someone approaching and slid open to both sides.
An Yi applied more force with his hand and gave a smooth toss—
"Ah!" Ye Ming felt the world spin as his entire body was thrown out of control, both feet leaving the ground, arcing briefly through the air before slamming down with a "thud" outside the library doors!
And to make it worse, inertia sent him tumbling and rolling twice. His expensive dark red silk shirt was instantly caked in dust, his carefully styled dark purple hair a total mess, strands stuck to his forehead—he looked absolutely pathetic.
Leng Bingning hurried out after them and saw Ye Ming sprawled on the ground, dazed and filthy. She was startled at first, then felt a weirdly satisfying rush of glee!
Comments section:
"Hahahahahahaha! An Yi's a beast! (voice cracking)"
"It's called basic manners! You hear that? Basic manners! Keep it down in public, people!"
"Dragged out like a dead dog and thrown away! Nice one, An Yi! I'm actually starting to like this guy! Make him the male lead! He's way better than all the F4 we've seen so far!"
"I mean... I thought Ye Ming, being the mafia prince, would be a total badass. Isn't that how those novels always do it? Didn't think he'd be this weak. (scratching head.jpg)"
"Ye Ming's all talk, no bite! (lol)"
"This is An Yi's second time saving the damsel in distress. He's gotta be the male lead, right?"
"He should be one of the male leads, even the main one! The author said there's more than one, after all!"
"More than one is fine, but Ye Ming can't be a male lead!"
"+1!"
"But seriously, Ye Ming's behavior is disgusting. An Yi was totally right to stop him! I'm just here for the drama, but if the author actually makes this trash a male lead and tries to redeem him, I'll get someone to come after you! @Author! You hear me?"
"..."
Ye Ming lay on the ground, dizzy and sore all over, but his pride had taken the worst hit—trampled like never before.
He'd never been so humiliated in his whole life!
In front of everyone, he'd been tossed out like trash by some "goody-goody" rich kid!
He jerked his head up, his face twisted with hatred as he glared at An Yi, who stood there calmly on the steps. His deep purple eyes blazed with fury and murderous intent.
Then, once again, he was caught off guard by how An Yi looked.
The afternoon sun was perfect, hitting An Yi from the side.
He stood on the steps at the library entrance, looking down at him with a slight tilt of his head. His posture was ramrod straight, his white shirt spotless, his light trousers crisp.
His face was still expressionless, his gaze calm and detached as he looked down at him.
The sunlight gave his silhouette a faint golden glow, making him look clean, cold, and untouchable—a stark, cruel contrast to Ye Ming, who was sprawled on the ground, dusty and completely wrecked.
That thought only made Ye Ming angrier!
He had to be out of his mind with rage!
"An! Yi!" Ye Ming gritted out the name, struggling to his feet and brushing off the dust, his gaze dark and menacing.
He clenched his fists, knuckles going white with a faint crack.
He figured he'd just been too careless, too focused on Leng Bingning, which let An Yi catch him off guard!
An Yi was just some pampered rich kid—how could he actually have the skill to restrain him?
That move earlier must've been a fluke, some kind of cheap trick!
With that thought, Ye Ming's confidence and cruelty came roaring back.
A smirk curled back onto his lips, his eyes "bloodthirsty," locked on An Yi: "Fine... An Yi, you've pissed me off. I'll show you what happens when you stick your nose where it doesn't belong..."
He lowered his center of gravity, getting into an attacking stance, his deep purple eyes locked on An Yi like a predator eyeing its prey, ready to charge and teach him a lesson he'd never forget!
An Yi: "..."
This dude's such an idiot.
Just as things were about to get physical—
"Ye Ming! Stay away from An Yi! What do you think you're doing?!"
A frantic, fiercely protective shout of anger and urgency suddenly rang out, getting louder as it closed in!
Right behind the shout, a tall, sturdy figure came charging over!
The speed was astonishing.
It was Lu Lu.
He'd clearly sprinted all the way here—his black hair was damp with sweat, strands stuck to his forehead, his chest heaving from the run.
But right now, his usually big, innocent puppy-dog eyes were wide with undisguised hostility and wariness, locked on Ye Ming in his attacking stance.
Without a second thought, he lunged forward in one stride, planting himself squarely in front of An Yi, back to him, shielding him completely as he faced down Ye Ming.
What the hell does this greasy-haired, shifty-eyed bastard think he's doing?!
He had just received the news that An Yi's salon had ended and was rushing over excitedly when he spotted the suspicious scene at the library entrance from a distance.
Especially when he saw that bastard Ye Ming assuming an attacking stance toward An Yi—a fire shot straight to his head. He threw all caution to the wind and sprinted over at full speed!
An Yi was so gentle, so good-looking, so... in need of protection. What did Ye Ming, that notoriously reckless mafia prince, want to do to him?!
Lu Lu felt like his blood was about to boil!
