Lilith, and her men were examining her new ship. For now she liked what she saw. The ship itself would likely carry a crew of roughly one hundred and sixty sailors – enough skilled hands to manage both oar banks efficiently, during intense battles or dangerous navigations. It had twenty oars on each side, that needed two minotaurs rowers to sit side-by-side on each thwart. Its capacious hold could accommodate months worth of provisions, not to mention any spoils seized along the voyage.

Most thrilling were the artifacts embedded within the very fabric of the galley’s construction. Woven into mast and rigging to withstand even the most savage tempests.

Lilith found herself growing giddy at the prospect of commanding such a marvel.

Lilith’s new galley Storm Eater came complete with a seasoned minotaur captain – one Bragi Stormhorn, whose craggy features bore testament to decades spent battling winds and waves. The grizzled
