Chapter 121: Back To That Key Moment ②

After Pupu fell asleep, Shang Ke soaked in the hot spring, washing away the cold and exhaustion from his body.

The sound of rippling water reached his ears. Shang Ke opened his eyes and saw Tylor standing in the hot spring. Scars of all sizes covered his powerful body, many of them clearly left behind because his injuries had not been properly treated when he received them.

Tylor swam over to Shang Ke and reached out to stroke his chest. Several years ago, a sword had pierced straight through this spot and taken his life. Now he had come back to life. His body was warm, his heartbeat strong, and only a faint scar remained on his smooth skin.

Tylor wrapped his arms around Shang Ke’s waist and rested his head against his shoulder like a child, his expression relaxed and filled with attachment.

“Tylor, tell me what happened after we sealed the Devil’s Tree,” Shang Ke asked softly.

“Mm.” Tylor shifted into a more comfortable position and leaned lazily against Shang Ke as he began recounting everything that had happened over the past three years.

Because of Shang Ke’s death, Tylor and Pupu had been corrupted by the Devil’s Tree’s demonic energy and became faithless half-demons. Unable to continue living among other people, they brought Shang Ke’s body to this snowy mountain.

They were different from ordinary apostles of the Devil’s Tree. After the Devil’s Tree was sealed, its apostles were freed from its control, and as long as they did not deliberately commit evil, they had little effect on those around them. Tylor and Pupu, however, had absorbed the Devil’s Tree’s most fundamental demonic energy. No matter how hard they suppressed it, they could not prevent some of that demonic energy from leaking out.

Even Shang Ke could not absorb the demonic energy inside them. Whether they could eventually purge it would probably depend on themselves. Still, it didn’t matter even if they never completely recovered. He would stay with them forever anyway.

“Shang Ke, can I kiss you?” Tylor suddenly asked after finishing his story.

Shang Ke gave him a strange look. This man actually knows how to be a gentleman? Didn’t he usually just kiss me whenever he felt like it?

Just as Shang Ke was about to answer, Tylor kissed him.

Shang Ke: …All right. I really shouldn’t jump to conclusions so quickly.

Tylor slowly caressed Shang Ke’s lips with his own before deepening the kiss. There was desire in it, but far more than that, there was longing and love.

The two remained intimately entwined in the water for nearly an hour, only reluctantly climbing out when they both began to feel dizzy.

They didn’t go all the way. That lingering, almost-there intimacy was already enough for them to savor for a long time.

“Let’s find somewhere beautiful and secluded to settle down!” Shang Ke suggested brightly the next day.

“Okay.” Tylor had no objections.

As for Pupu, she was naturally Daddy’s most loyal supporter.

The three immediately packed their belongings and loaded themselves down with bags of every size. Even Pupu had a cooking pot strapped to her back. Then they trudged through the snow, step by uneven step, leaving the frozen land behind.

Finding a new home was not as difficult as expected. Tylor had traveled across the continent before and knew the various regions well. After asking Shang Ke what kind of environment he wanted, the three made their way to the Donore Mountains on the border between Dako City and Sina Province.

After several inspections, Shang Ke finally chose a waterside location for their new home. Green mountains surrounded the area, and few people ever came through. Other than a rugged, winding mountain path, the only way in or out was by crossing the river in a boat. Yet it was not truly remote. The nearest city was only about an hour away on foot, and the trip would be even shorter with a mount. There were also several small villages within a couple of kilometers, making it easy to trade with them whenever necessary.

Once they settled on the location, all that remained was building a house, clearing land, planting crops… With two grown men working together, constructing a bamboo house was not particularly difficult. Whatever tools or materials they lacked could be purchased from the nearby villagers.

Most of the heavy labor fell to Tylor, who worked tirelessly without complaint and gradually “evolved” from a prince who knew nothing about manual work into an excellent craftsman.

Meanwhile, Shang Ke took Pupu with him to clear fields, plant crops, and prepare all kinds of delicious food. Fish, shrimp, river snails, mussels, bamboo rats, rabbits, pheasants, wild boars, snakes, bird eggs, wild vegetables, mushrooms, melons, fruit… Whether it came from the sky, the earth, or the water, as long as he could find it, Shang Ke could turn it into something edible.

Every night, Shang Ke used medicinal ointments he had prepared himself to treat Tylor’s and Pupu’s wounds and massage their muscles. He also placed mosquito-repelling plants around the tents, doing everything he could to give his one big and one small companion the best possible sleeping environment.

After a month, all the wounds on Tylor and Pupu had healed. Their thin bodies visibly filled out, their skin regained a healthy glow, and their spirits improved dramatically. They looked completely transformed.

The change was especially striking in Tylor. Born into nobility yet tempered by hardship, once his melancholy and despondence faded, he developed an enigmatic charm. Every time he went out to trade, he attracted the attention of quite a few village girls and young married women.

Tylor’s heart already belonged to someone, and he also carried demonic energy, so naturally he never encouraged them. Unfortunately, these women had a habit of enthusiastically throwing scented powder at men they fancied. No matter how agile Tylor was, the wind inevitably betrayed him from time to time, leaving traces of perfume on his clothes.

Only after smelling it did Shang Ke realize that a bunch of random women were actually coveting his man’s chastity.

He immediately summoned Tylor over and tied a marriage knot into his hair. On Turan, this kind of knot meant “married”—or, more simply, already taken.

Once the knot was tied, Tylor suddenly felt exceptionally handsome and dashing. He worked with boundless enthusiasm every day, quietly radiating an almost dazzling glow.

Two months later, the bamboo house was finished, and the vegetable plots Shang Ke had cultivated were ready for their first harvest.

The day before they moved into their new home, Shang Ke prepared a lavish meal and brought out good wine, both to reward them for two months of hard work and to celebrate the completion of the house.

Under the enchanting moonlight, the three ate and drank to their hearts’ content. By the end, even Pupu had fallen asleep drunk despite having only a tiny cup.

Tylor carried Pupu into the room. When he came back out, Shang Ke was still clearing the table. His long hair swayed gently in the breeze, and his slender figure looked especially alluring beneath the candlelight.

Tylor’s eyes darkened. He wrapped his arms around Shang Ke from behind and let his lips linger against his neck.

“Stop fooling around and help me clear the dishes.” Shang Ke shrank his neck as the spot Tylor had licked began to burn.

Tylor didn’t stop. Instead, his touches became even more intimate.

“Ty—ah!” Before Shang Ke could finish, Tylor swept him off his feet and laid him down on the nearby rug, immediately covering his mouth with a heated kiss. After holding himself back for more than two months, Tylor had finally reached his limit.

With the soft rug beneath his back and the scent of grass still lingering in the air, their wine-scented breaths mingled together… Their clothes were pulled open beneath roaming hands, exposing bare skin to the cool night air before the chill was quickly replaced by surging heat.

Feeling the man’s hot erection pressing against him, Shang Ke gasped, “Not here… We’ll wake Pupu…”

“We’ll keep quiet.” Tylor slowly caressed his body.

Shang Ke’s head was slightly muddled from the alcohol, and instead of firmly refusing, he murmured, “Then be gentle.”

The words had barely left his mouth when Tylor thrust forward and forced his way deep inside him.

“Ah!” Shang Ke couldn’t suppress a cry, but immediately forced himself quiet again. He had just opened his mouth to complain when Tylor’s next thrust cut him off.

Shang Ke could only do his best to suppress his voice, letting his body rise and fall through wave after wave of pleasure. The vast starry sky swayed above him, gradually blurring until his vision finally went completely white.

Tylor had originally worried that Shang Ke might not be able to accept him, yet their first time together felt as though they had already practiced countless times. Their bodies fit each other perfectly.

After the first round, a disheveled Tylor carried an equally disheveled Shang Ke back into the bedroom and continued with the next…

When Shang Ke woke the next morning, he discovered that he and Tylor were tangled together in an extremely strange position. One of Shang Ke’s legs was draped over Tylor’s waist while the other hung over his shoulder, their bodies lying perpendicular to each other in an “L” shape. Even more absurdly, Tylor was still inside him.

Shang Ke tried to pull himself away, but he had barely gotten halfway off Tylor’s cock when a pair of large hands pressed him firmly back down.

“Let go. It’s already morning.” Shang Ke braced himself with his arms and tried to lift his body away from Tylor.

“It’s still early.” Tylor shifted onto his side, pushing himself even deeper inside Shang Ke.

Shang Ke glared at him and was just about to speak when Pupu’s sleepy voice came from outside the door. “Daddy, are you two still sleeping?”

Shang Ke hurriedly sat up, only to drop heavily onto Tylor and suddenly take him all the way to the deepest point.

Both men sucked in a sharp breath.

Hearing the bedroom door begin to open, Shang Ke forgot everything else and hurriedly yanked the blanket over them both.

Pupu poked her head inside and saw Daddy sitting astride Ty with flushed cheeks. Curiosity appeared on her face, but she clearly had no idea what she was supposed to ask.

Shang Ke tried to get up, but Tylor held him firmly in place. Without the slightest change in expression, Tylor told Pupu, “Pupu, go wash up. Daddy will make you something delicious in a little while.”

The moment Pupu heard there would be something delicious to eat, she immediately abandoned her daddy and happily ran off.

Shang Ke glared at Tylor and ground out four words through clenched teeth: “Know when to stop!”

“I have too much energy. I need to release it, or I’ll wither away.” Tylor’s fingers lingered around Shang Ke’s waist.

Do you think you’re a flower?! Wither, my ass. More like premature ejaculation!

“If you’re going to do it, hurry up! I still have to make Pupu breakfast!” Shang Ke pinched him hard out of frustration.

Tylor obediently complied and immediately began thrusting at high speed, determined to be fast, hard, and precise. As it turned out, a certain someone was nowhere near premature. If Pupu hadn’t come running back to scratch at the door, he probably could have kept going for another three hours.

After feeding both his big and little household pets, Tylor took his weapons and headed out to hunt, planning to trade for some grain along the way, while Shang Ke stayed home with Pupu.

At noon, Tylor returned right on time with two rabbits in one hand and a sack of rice tucked under his arm. In the courtyard, Shang Ke sat at the stone table with Pupu in his arms, teaching her to read and write. Golden sunlight fell over them, turning the scene into a beautiful painting.

“Ty, look!” The moment Pupu saw Tylor return, she picked up a sheet of paper and proudly showed him the crooked characters written across it. “This is Pupu’s name!”

Tylor set down what he was carrying, walked over to them, and patted Pupu’s head. “Did you write Daddy’s and Ty’s names too?”

“Yes!” Pupu answered enthusiastically. She pulled out another sheet and pointed to the writing on it. “Look! Pupu learned Daddy’s and Ty’s names too.”

Tylor looked down and saw “Shang Ke” and “Tylor” written side by side across the clean white paper.

The first name was written with neat strokes and proper characters. The second was twisted beyond recognition, as though every stroke had been dislocated and its bones broken into the wrong positions.

Tylor fell silent. They were both Pupu’s family, so why was the difference this enormous…?
