Chapter 212: Death Cycle (X)

Di Kui stopped. He looked down at Shang Ke in his arms, then toward the door.

Outside, Huo Xuan stood staring at the door with dark, intent eyes, as though meeting the gaze of the person on the other side.

Under the pressure of their opposing stares, the flimsy door creaked ominously, as if it might splinter apart at any moment.

The pressure around them climbed steadily. The air seemed to congeal, making it difficult to breathe. Shang Ke felt his blood roil and his eyes ache until he was thoroughly miserable. Neither man was even using an ability; the force of their presence alone was enough to kill without leaving a visible wound.

Di Kui’s muscles swelled, his sharp nails gleaming with a purple-black chill. Fierce battle intent erupted from him like a wild beast poised to pounce. Seeing him on the verge of breaking loose, Shang Ke abruptly looped his arms around Di Kui’s neck and bit him on the chin.

What? Di Kui’s pressure slackened as he looked down at Shang Ke in distraction. That brief lapse was enough for Huo Xuan outside to seize the advantage.

Sensing Di Kui preparing to retaliate, Shang Ke hurriedly reached for a baby bottle—only to remember that the one he carried had already been handed to Di Kui and crushed to pieces.

Gritting his teeth, he tipped his head up and kissed Di Kui, doing everything he could to capture his attention.

Sure enough, Di Kui was distracted again. His gaze returned to Shang Ke, and the violent aura that had been surging upward gradually subsided.

Shang Ke’s lips and tongue pleased him, and Di Kui quickly became absorbed in the kiss. He slid an arm beneath Shang Ke, lifting him up as he eagerly kissed him back.

Neither man noticed that a faint barrier had formed around them, shutting out the currents of force whipping through the air and enclosing them in a small world of their own.

This was hardly their first kiss, yet Di Kui was still as simple and brutal as ever. For the sake of keeping his tongue intact, Shang Ke seized an opening and pulled away.

Di Kui rumbled unhappily and was about to chase after his mouth when Huo Xuan’s voice came through the door. “Shang Ke, are you all right?”

Earlier, Huo Xuan had not intended to seek out the expert who had clashed with him. Only after noticing that the man’s aura had vanished into the building where Shang Ke was staying did he decide to come take a look.

The moment he arrived, Huo Xuan sensed a powerful expert hidden nearby. He could not be certain the person was inside Shang Ke’s room, but the distance was definitely less than fifty meters. He had originally intended to force the man out, only for the other presence to disappear without warning midway through their contest, replaced instead by Shang Ke’s golden light.

Worried that Shang Ke might have been hurt, Huo Xuan did not withdraw his power and called out to him instead.

At the sound of Huo Xuan’s voice, brutality flashed through Di Kui’s eyes. Shang Ke opened his mouth to answer, only for Di Kui to domineeringly seal it with his own.

With a blur of movement, Di Kui pinned Shang Ke against the wall and deepened the kiss. The force of it hurt enough to draw a muffled moan from Shang Ke.

Huo Xuan’s hearing was exceptionally sharp. The instant he heard the moan, he lifted a foot, prepared to break down the door.

“…I’m fine!” Shang Ke’s slightly strained voice sounded at just the right moment, stopping him.

Huo Xuan listened closely. From inside came panting, heartbeats, wet sucking sounds, the rustle of fabric, and the soft thuds of bodies bumping together.

Huo Xuan’s expression darkened. He badly wanted to burst in and see what was happening, yet a faint premonition of danger kept him hesitating.

Inside the room, Di Kui had Shang Ke pinned against the wall, kissing him roughly. His grip grew steadily stronger; Shang Ke’s clothes were torn into a miserable state, and Di Kui’s sharp nails left bloody scratches across his skin.

If Huo Xuan’s barrier had not still been in place, the scent of blood would probably have triggered another zombie riot.

Shang Ke gritted his teeth and refused to cry out. Sensing that Huo Xuan still had not left, he could only lament inwardly: Why is he still here?! The Zombie King on top of him had already been kissed into a thoroughly sexual frenzy. The hard length between Di Kui’s legs kept grinding and jabbing against him, rubbing holes through his pants and leaving his skin burning painfully.

The more he thought about it, the more horrifying the possibilities became. Would Di Kui’s claws tear open his throat and make him bleed to death? Would he be kissed until he suffocated? Or would that “murder weapon” between Di Kui’s legs punch straight through his stomach?

The images were so terrifying that Shang Ke decided he had to fight for survival. He reached out and gently stroked Di Kui’s back as though soothing the fur of a temperamental pet.

The instant Di Kui’s muscles relaxed, Shang Ke painstakingly freed his lips from captivity. Before Di Kui could catch them again, Shang Ke quickly shifted targets, kissing his chin, Adam’s apple, collarbone, chest…

Di Kui’s body, which had only just relaxed, went taut again. Bracing both hands against the wall, he silently watched Shang Ke move.

“A kiss should be like this…” Shang Ke demonstrated as he explained.

“And touching should be like this…” His hands slowly glided over Di Kui’s firm muscles.

“Control your strength. Don’t hurt the other person.” Shang Ke took one of Di Kui’s hands, carefully avoided the sharp nails, and gently nibbled at his fingers.

Warm breath enveloped his finger, and a tingling wave of pleasure rapidly spread through Di Kui’s body.

His gaze turned scorching, his desire growing hotter by the second. An urgent growl rose from his throat and his hips instinctively thrust forward. With a sharp crack, a hole appeared in the wall between Shang Ke’s legs…

Shang Ke: …There was no way to play properly with this guy. Was it too late to stop now?

When Di Kui saw Shang Ke stop, he irritably jabbed the wall a few more times. Poor wall—its pure and innocent first time had been brutally taken by the savage Zombie King.

Shang Ke swore to himself that he absolutely could not let this Zombie King clear the final stage of mating! As the boss guarding the checkpoint, he had to make sure he did not get thrust to death.

So he could only apologize to Brother Wall… (Wall: On behalf of walls everywhere, I despise you! You’re actually trying to train a Zombie King who specializes in “violating” walls! You’re deranged! We walls refuse to take the blame for this tragedy!)

Shang Ke’s voice was quiet, but it did not escape Huo Xuan’s ears. From those few simple sentences, he could roughly guess what the people inside were doing.

Huo Xuan clenched his fists. For some inexplicable reason, his chest felt tight and even his breathing became unsteady.

As the noises inside grew increasingly intense, Huo Xuan finally could not remain there any longer. He swept an arm through the air and disappeared.

With Huo Xuan gone, the pressure filling the room vanished completely.

Finally… Shang Ke breathed a sigh of relief and focused on dealing with the thoroughly aroused Zombie King in front of him.

Their clothes had already been torn beyond recognition, and the wall behind them was cratered and broken, bits of stone occasionally tumbling down. Shang Ke’s body was covered in wounds, blood sliding across his pale skin in vivid streaks.

Under Shang Ke’s patient guidance, Di Kui’s movements gradually became gentler, and he stopped injuring him as frequently as before.

But this slow, drawn-out soothing was clearly nowhere near enough to satisfy Di Kui. He wanted to devour the person in his arms, yet did not know where to begin. Somehow the ordinary meaning of “eat” no longer seemed capable of satisfying his appetite.

Just how was he supposed to “eat” him? Unable to find relief, Di Kui grew increasingly irritable, smashing the wall hard enough to send fragments of stone flying.

The mercenaries in the neighboring rooms heard the commotion and hardly dared to breathe. Earlier, the experts’ pressure had pinned them in place and left them too frightened to move. Now that the pressure was gone, who would dare remain here? One after another, they hurriedly packed their things and fled the tottering building.

Di Kui had reduced the room to a wreck, yet surprisingly Shang Ke had not acquired any new injuries. Even so, he realized matters were starting to slip beyond his control. He had worked Di Kui into such a fever pitch that even the zombies attracted by Shang Ke’s blood no longer dared approach.

At that moment, Shang Ke could not decide whether he felt more regret or terror.

But things had already gone this far. Shang Ke simply threw what remained of his shame out the window, gritted his teeth, and began giving Di Kui a handjob.

As long as there was no penetration, he believed his life should still be safe.

Under Shang Ke’s hand, Di Kui rapidly grew hotter and harder, nearly wrenching Shang Ke’s fingers apart.

After barely a minute or two, Shang Ke could not continue. He had greatly overestimated both the capacity of his palm and the durability of his fingers.

When Shang Ke stopped, Di Kui proactively pulled his hand back onto his erection. Then, apparently believing in fair exchange, he reached toward Shang Ke to return the favor. Shang Ke dodged in alarm.

If Di Kui jerked him off even once, Shang Ke would be traumatized for several lifetimes!

Di Kui kept rubbing against him like a man tormented by an unbearable itch. His movements, which had finally become somewhat gentle, gradually turned rough again.

Shang Ke seriously considered exploding on the spot and getting it over with.

He looked around, intending to find a more comfortable way to die and end this once and for all.

“Ah!” Distracted for only a moment, Shang Ke suddenly felt a sharp pain below. By sheer accident, Di Kui had struck exactly where he should not have.

Di Kui paused, bent down to sniff, and immediately lit up with excitement. He drove his hips forward and tried to squeeze in farther.

“Wait!” Shang Ke hurriedly stopped him.

Di Kui had no intention of stopping. He bumped and fumbled forward, determined to force his way in.

Watching this fellow somehow figure things out without a teacher, Shang Ke knew he was not escaping this time. Helpless, he said, “Lie down and don’t move. I’ll do it myself.”

Di Kui actually obeyed, lying flat with his limbs spread wide and an expression that practically said, Go ahead, do whatever you want.

Shang Ke’s gaze slowly traveled over him. He still could not identify Di Kui with certainty from his aura, but perhaps his own body had already made the choice for him. If Di Kui were not his lover, would Shang Ke really be willing to do something like this with him?

He had only one lover. If he chose to believe Di Kui was that man, then even if Huo Xuan carried a similar aura and even had the familiar mole on his palm, there was nothing left to hesitate over. If he eventually discovered that he had still chosen wrong, then… he could just go die!

Shang Ke straddled Di Kui’s waist, leaned down to kiss him, and slowly worked his way lower.

Di Kui watched every movement. His breathing quickened, his eyes filled with anticipation, excitement, and a faint haze of desire.

Shang Ke slowly lifted his hips and lowered himself onto Di Kui little by little… The tearing pain made him suck in a sharp breath. Fortunately, his body was resilient enough that it was not as difficult as he had feared. After pausing to adjust, he continued downward. By the time Di Kui was halfway inside, Shang Ke already felt stretched to his limit.

At that exact moment, Di Kui abruptly sat up. Caught completely off guard, Shang Ke took him all the way in at once.

Pain sent Shang Ke collapsing against Di Kui’s chest. Di Kui wrapped his arms around him and restrained his excitement, his body trembling in small, involuntary movements.

Once they made it through the most difficult part, everything afterward was comparatively straightforward. This was Di Kui’s first time, yet for once he did not recklessly let himself go. Otherwise, even a body forged from iron would have been penetrated straight through.

With Shang Ke guiding him and Di Kui cooperating, the two of them completed a battle woven from blood and tears.

During the final few rounds, however, Di Kui became a completely unbridled wild horse and lost all sense of restraint.

By the time they were finally done, all four of Shang Ke’s limbs were broken, and his body was covered in wounds and kiss marks. He looked unbearably miserable, yet there was a strange, bloody beauty to it.

Despite the carnage, Shang Ke stubbornly remained alive—at least for the first five minutes after Di Kui ejaculated inside him.

Five minutes later, Shang Ke’s skin gradually turned ashen. Patches of livor mortis appeared, his pupils lost focus, his blood stilled, and at last his breathing stopped.

Di Kui’s heart clenched. The satisfaction he had felt only moments earlier vanished without a trace, replaced by an unfamiliar fear that rapidly closed around him.

“Shang Ke…” He hesitantly reached out, wanting to touch his face.

Just then, the person in his arms suddenly dragged in a breath. His unfocused pupils sharpened again, and the corpse-like mottling on his skin began to fade little by little.

Di Kui felt his own heart begin beating again. For that one instant, he had completely forgotten that Shang Ke could come back to life…
