Chapter 28: Very, Very Dangerous

Before the auction ended, a figure walked out of the VIP box that had first bid on the Western Realm Martial Saint, led away from the auction hall by an attendant.

Due to the dim lighting, Kaios couldn't make out the person's exact features, but he could roughly tell it was a tall woman.

A woman?

According to Xiao Zhuo'an, anyone who would spend 10,000 vouchers to bid on that Western Realm Martial Saint would just be a horndog thinking with their lower half. How could it be a woman? Moreover, she seemed to be completely alone, without any companions or attendants.

Kaios didn't make a single bid during the rest of the auction. He had already won quite a few items earlier, and the 13,000 vouchers for the Western Realm Martial Saint had completely drained all of his disposable funds for this trip.

After the auction concluded, an attendant guided Kaios to settle his bill and collect his winnings.
