In the art studio, it took Kaios quite a while to regain his bearings and return to consciousness.

He wasn't surprised that no one had come in to check on him. He had previously instructed Sharvella that unless he called for help, she was not to enter, nor was she to allow anyone else to come check.

He just hadn't expected that the commotion he caused would result in him passing out.

Whether it was the initial hand-chop Spiritual Energy Wave or the subsequent hand-chop Demon Spirit Wind Blade, the disturbances had actually been incredibly small. Neither possessed any actual lethality, but they had managed to drain his strength and cause him to faint.

Without bothering to get up, Kaios simply sat cross-legged on the floor and began to recall the sensations he had just experienced.
