Chapter 55: Unofficial History

Kaios spent nearly an hour giving the four books a rough read-through.

And what was his takeaway...

*Basic Introduction to Necromancy* was just that—a very basic introduction and primer on Undead Magic. It was a true hands-on guide, a technical manual, and Kaios learned a great deal from it.

He was even able to use the descriptions of the Undead Magic to deduce some methods and principles behind Soul Magic. It also confirmed several suspicions he'd formed after reading Pande's Notes.

The only downside was that the book was quite old. It had missing and damaged pages, forcing him to use his imagination and deductive reasoning to fill in the gaps.
