Chapter 56: The Approach to Cultivating an Invincible Realm
The origins of the Black Forest, or the Extremely Evil Forest, were mentioned in three books of a somewhat apocryphal nature.
Clearly, the authors of these three books treated this incident as the cause and turning point for the persecution of Necromancers and their poor reputation.
They attempted to create the impression that Necromancers were a group abandoned and betrayed by the Three Kings and the Holy Protection Alliance—a band of tragic, solitary figures.
But Kaios definitely didn't believe this narrative. The very nature of Undead Magic meant it could never become mainstream. The mere existence of Necromancers was bound to provoke fear, vigilance, and ostracism from others, including other Spiritual Energy Warriors and Mages.
Even these three books mentioned that before the Holy Protection Palace initiated the "Black Forest Project," the Holy Protection Alliance hadn't accepted Necromancers; instead, they had been continuously hunting them down.
