'Am I dead?' Magna thought, since that was the only thing he could do.

He wasn't feeling his body anymore but only felt like his soul was floating in the darkness, back on the path to the reincarnation gates. Not that he had high hopes for a third chance at life to reincarnate.

The last thing he remembered was being killed by a crazy Witch.

He wasn't actually that surprised. In fact, he was a little surprised that he had managed to survive this long in the first place.

'I guess I was pretty lucky so far,' he let his soul drift through the endless darkness.

He had died and reincarnated once before, but that had happened quickly, as he opened his eyes in another world as a baby the moment he died in the previous one, so he didn't consider himself very experienced with this.

But from what he thought he remembered reading in novels and watching in documentaries about people who came back from death, he should soon see some kind of light.
