Sometimes, You Just Have to Stop Being Kind

Magna wasn't sure if these kids were just this difficult, or if he himself was just bad at making a few friends.

He had practiced quite a lot with the maids back home, but it looked like he hadn't improved much at all.

He gave a sigh and decided to just handle the matter like an adult. 

"Look, I don't mean anything by it, and I don't want any trouble. I just need something to eat and a place where I can spend the night and sleep."

His reasonable words might have worked if he were still on Earth, yet they had no effect here.

"Sorry, my friend." The tall guy finally pulled his hand back from his shoulder and turned to walk away. "But here, if you want something, you need to take it yourself."

He walked off without even looking back, entering one of the huts and closing the door behind him.
