Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 204 – Plastic Sisters
Long Jingyun didn’t commit to Long Teng’s proposal, merely standing up lazily.
Long Wu, at the side, could no longer hold back. She immediately wrapped herself around Long Jingyun’s arm like a vine, practically hanging off him.
“Brother Jingyun, let’s go! I know lots of fun places in the city, I’ll take you!”
Her voice was sickeningly sweet. At the same time, she didn’t forget to look back and shoot Lin Fan a vicious glare, one filled with warning and a victor’s pride.
Lin Fan remained expressionless, automatically following behind the two while maintaining the proper distance for a maid.
The trio had not gone far from the City Lord’s Manor when Long Wu suddenly stopped.
Long Jingyun turned back impatiently. “Now what?”
Long Wu let go of Long Jingyun and trotted a few steps over to Lin Fan, a brilliant and innocent smile on her face, as if yesterday’s hostility and this morning’s venom had never existed.
“Sister Xueqi.”
She called out intimately, and before Lin Fan could react, she took the initiative to link her arm with Lin Fan’s.
Lin Fan’s body stiffened slightly at the sudden touch.
“Sister Xueqi, please don’t be mad at me, okay?” Long Wu tilted her head up, her pair of golden eyes blinking, filled with “sincerity” and “apology.” “Yesterday, I saw you weren’t talking and thought you hated me, that’s why… that’s why my attitude toward you was so bad.”
She gently shook Lin Fan’s arm, wheedling, “It was only later that I realized you’re cold like this to everyone, so you definitely weren’t targeting me specifically. I misunderstood you.”
Lin Fan lowered her gaze and didn’t pull her arm back, only giving an almost imperceptible nod in response.
This acting was a bit too over the top.
Seeing that she had “accepted” her goodwill, the smile on Long Wu’s face grew even sweeter.

While holding onto Lin Fan, she sidled up to Long Jingyun’s other side, one arm around each of them, looking smug and triumphant.
“From now on, I need to learn more from Sister Xueqi on how to better take care of Brother Jingyun!”
Watching this dramatic scene unfold, Long Jingyun first raised an eyebrow, then the corner of his mouth curved into a playful arc.
One was a little princess who adored him, the other his personal toy.
The two women had been fighting over him out of jealousy, and now they were making peace. This brought his pathological need for control immense satisfaction.
“Now that’s more like it,” he grunted, tacitly approving of this bizarre trio.
And so, an extremely strange scene appeared on the streets of Border Dragon City.
The handsome and arrogant young master of the Pureblood Dragon Clan walked in the middle, flanked on the left by a fiery, chattering pureblood princess, and on the right by a silent, soullessly beautiful maid.
Long Wu seemed to genuinely treat Lin Fan as a “good sister,” pestering her with questions all along the way.
“Sister Xueqi, what does Brother Jingyun usually like to eat?”
“What’s his favorite color?”
“What does he like to do when he’s resting?”
To these questions, Lin Fan’s answers were always short and precise.
“Meat.”
“Black.”

“Play with feet.”
She was as sparing with her words as if they were gold, too lazy to utter a single extra one.
The smile on Long Wu’s face froze for a moment, clearly choked by the last phrase.
She subconsciously glanced at Long Jingyun with a flash of disbelief in her eyes, then looked down at her own feet, clad in magnificent shoes.
But she quickly masked it with an even sweeter smile.
“Oh, so Brother Jingyun has such a hobby… Sister Xueqi, you really understand him.”
Hearing Lin Fan’s answer, Long Jingyun was not the least bit displeased. Instead, he puffed out his chest proudly, as if this were an honor worth showing off.
Long Wu suppressed the discomfort in her heart and continued to play the role of a good sister. She pointed to an anklet in the most conspicuous spot of a jewelry shop by the road. The anklet was strung with unknown blue gems that shimmered with a radiant light, looking priceless at a glance.
“Sister Xueqi, do you think that’s pretty?” she asked innocently, pulling on Lin Fan’s hand. “How about I buy it for you? As my apology.”
Though her words spoke of apology, her eyes held a trace of imperceptible contempt, as if waiting to see a country bumpkin look overwhelmed by the favor.
Lin Fan’s gaze lingered on the anklet for a tenth of a second before she nonchalantly looked away.
“Too ugly.”
The smile on Long Wu’s face froze again.
Ugly?
This was crafted from Deep Sea Luminous Pearls, worth a fortune! You couldn’t find a second one in all of Border Dragon City!
How dare this lowly servant from a branch family call it ugly?

Long Jingyun also looked over with great interest. He was very curious to see what kind of explanation his toy could come up with.
As if oblivious to the change in atmosphere, Lin Fan added in the same placid tone, “It’s not worthy of my feet.”
“Pfft…”
Long Jingyun couldn’t hold it in and burst out laughing.
He thought the answer was simply brilliant! It was exactly to his liking!
Long Wu’s face turned pale, then green. The hand holding Lin Fan’s arm tightened unconsciously, her nails nearly digging into Lin Fan’s flesh.
This bitch! She was indirectly calling her tasteless!
And to make matters worse, Long Jingyun found it amusing!
A lump of frustration was stuck in her chest, unable to go up or down. She could only squeeze out a smile that was uglier than a crying face. “Yes… that’s right. Sister’s feet are so beautiful, indeed… indeed nothing is worthy of them.”
Just as Long Wu was about to suffer internal injuries from her acting, a guard from the City Lord’s Manor ran over in a hurry and knelt on one knee before the three of them.
“Reporting to Young Master Jingyun, the City Lord has an order!”
The guard’s voice was loud and urgent.
“The sentry posts around the periphery of the Death Marsh have been set up, and the spy’s tracks have been locked down to an area on the east side of the marsh. The City Lord requests that you proceed there immediately. If the spy appears, we will need you to take action personally!”
It’s here.
A bloodthirsty glint flashed in Long Jingyun’s eyes.

“Very good.”
He was just getting bored. Finally, some fun.
The moment Long Wu heard this, she immediately tightened her grip on Long Jingyun’s arm and pleaded with a look of anticipation, “Brother Jingyun, I want to go too! I can help you, and… and I want to spend more time with you and Sister Xueqi!”
Long Jingyun frowned. “It’s dangerous there.”
“I’m already level six, I won’t hold you back!” Long Wu pouted, playing her trump card as she drew out her words, “Please, Brother Jingyun… pretty please…”
Being begged by a sixteen-year-old beauty in such a tone, Long Jingyun’s bit of impatience was quickly replaced by vanity.
“Alright, alright.” He waved his hand with a “what can I do with you” expression. “If you want to go, then follow along, just don’t cause me any trouble.”
“Yay! Brother Jingyun, you’re the best!”
Long Wu was so happy she almost jumped. She hugged Long Jingyun’s arm and planted a loud kiss on his cheek.
The three of them then set off, heading quickly toward the Death Marsh east of the city.
Along the way, Long Wu once again sidled up intimately to Lin Fan. She lowered her voice and whispered in Lin Fan’s ear in a tone that was both innocent and curious.
“Sister Xueqi, did you know?”
“I heard from the guards that many people go missing in the Death Marsh every year, without even their bones being found.”
She paused, then tilted her head up, her golden eyes glinting strangely in the sunlight.
“Do you think… they were all eaten by the monsters inside, bite by bite?”
