Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 392 – Dog Eat Dog
The lighting in the meeting room was dim, and the air still carried the stale smell of cheap tobacco.
On the tablet in Zhou Ming’s hand, a video with extremely shaky footage was playing.
It was footage captured by a drone, encrypted multiple times before it reached Chu Chen’s hands.
In the footage, the capital special zone—once representing the highest authority of Blue Star—had now been reduced to a sea of fire.
Though there was no sound, just looking at the towering pillars of light shooting into the sky and the high-rises collapsing from time to time was enough to imagine the devastation on the ground.
“When did this happen?” Lin Fan leaned back, her long legs crossed elegantly, the hem of her white dress slipping aside to reveal a glimpse of delicate ankles.
“Just three hours ago.” Zhou Ming wiped his face, his tone heavy. “Chu Chen said the energy fluctuations over there are highly abnormal. They’ve detected at least ten energy reactions above Level Seven.”
“Ten?” Sun Jing gasped from the side. “Since when does Blue Star have that many Level Seven powerhouses? Even if they were popping pills, they couldn’t just conjure that up, right?”
Lin Fan said nothing. She simply reached out a finger and swiped across the screen, zooming in on the image.
Among the blurry pixels, a humanoid creature covered in black scales could be seen tearing open the cockpit of a heavy mech with its bare hands.
That wasn’t ordinary mutation—it was a very typical sign of Semi-Dragonification.
“That old dog Wang Shan finally dropped the act?” Lin Fan let out a light chuckle, but there was no trace of amusement in her eyes. “Looks like he’s been backed into a corner.”
Zhou Ming nodded. “According to Chu Chen’s intel, two factions within the Federation have completely fallen out this time. One side seems to have activated something called the Artificial God Project, which is barely holding off the other side’s offensive.”
Lin Fan pulled a menthol cigarette from her pocket and lit it.
Through the swirling smoke, her gaze turned contemplative.
Back then, she had let Wang Shan escape from the underground base in the Kunlun Mountains, leaving behind a trail of plausible but misleading clues that made him believe the attack on the base was the work of those stubborn old-timers in the capital.

That scheme of killing with a borrowed knife was meant to stir up trouble for the Federation, to keep them too busy to harass western Sichuan.
She hadn’t expected the dose to be this strong.
Those two factions had literally beaten each other’s brains out.
“Good thing.” Lin Fan flicked off some ash, her tone as casual as if she were discussing what to have for dinner. “Dogs biting dogs—nothing but fur flying. The harder they fight, the safer we are.”
“But Lily…” Zhou Ming frowned, looking worried. “Chu Chen said the fighting is already spreading outward. The mutant legions over there are completely out of control. Everywhere they pass, survivor bases are basically wiped out. If they keep going like this, the entire Dragon Nation region…”
“Then I’ll go help them save face.”
Lin Fan stood up, her white dress tracing an elegant arc through the air.
“Those old bastards in the Federation have been squatting on the toilet without shitting for way too long. Since they want to flip the table, I might as well tear down the whole house.”
Her voice was soft, yet carried an undeniable, overbearing authority.
Now that she had ascended to Legendary Grade, wielding both the Domain of Life and the Domain of Omniscience, amplified by her Tyrant Talent—let alone those fake Level Sevens on Blue Star, even if the Dragon Clan elders came, aside from Long Zhan, she could grind them into the dirt.
“You’re going back to Blue Star?” Zhou Ming was taken aback. “But the Rift…”
“This is the second problem I need to solve.” Lin Fan turned to look at Su Yue. “Have the dwarven craftsmen finished their part?”
Su Yue nodded quickly. “Master Copperbeard sent word half an hour ago. He said it nearly blew up the furnace, but they managed to pull it off in the end.”
“Let’s go take a look.”
Lin Fan stubbed out his cigarette and strode out with long, purposeful steps.

Rеαⅾ on KаtRеaⅾiոɡСаfe
Inside the temporary forging workshop of Craftsman City, waves of heat rolled through the air.
The temperature here was terrifyingly high, and the air was thick with the acrid smell of molten metal.
Master Copperbeard stood with two enormous dark circles under his eyes, a few sparks still clinging to his beard. In his hands, he held a tray lined with red velvet, looking like a mother who had just given birth—utterly drained yet brimming with excitement.
“It’s done!”
Copperbeard’s voice was hoarse as he thrust the tray toward Lin Fan.
“Following your design—that… mobile hotspot theory of yours—I melted down every last piece of Voidstone I had stashed away, combined it with the companion ore you provided, and finally managed to craft this set.”
Lin Fan looked down.
On the tray lay a set of accessories.
A silver tassel necklace with a distinctive design, shaped like some kind of intricate circuit totem.
A pair of teardrop-shaped earrings that looked unassuming at first glance, but faintly emanated a subtle, obscure spatial fluctuation.
And beside them, neatly arranged, were twenty black metal bracelets, densely engraved with runes, looking heavy and substantial.
“Introduce them?”
Lin Fan picked up the necklace. It felt cool to the touch, with an incredibly smooth magic-conducting quality.
“This one—I’ve named it ‘Sacrifice.'”
Copperbeard pointed at the necklace, his expression grave. “This necklace and the earrings are actually an ultra-high-power energy output terminal. Once worn and activated, it will forcibly draw out the spiritual power within your body, at an efficiency over a hundred times that of normal combat consumption.”

Lin Fan raised an eyebrow. “Sounds like a suicide device.”
“The principle is similar.” Copperbeard didn’t deny it. “If a normal person wore this, they’d be drained dry within three minutes.”
He then pointed to the black bracelets.
“These are the receiving terminals. Inside, they’re inscribed with spirit-gathering arrays that can directionally receive the energy expelled by ‘Sacrifice.’ Those who wear the bracelets will receive a massive infusion of energy in a short period.”
Copperbeard paused, his expression turning somewhat strange. “In plain terms, this is a device that forcibly splits apart your cultivation and stuffs it into someone else’s body.”
“Excellent.”
Lin Fan was very satisfied. This was essentially like carrying twenty portable power banks—except she was the power source doing the discharging.
“But I must warn you.”
Copperbeard suddenly raised his voice, his expression turning extremely solemn. “This energy transfer is irreversible! In common terms, it’s called ‘cultivation dispersion’! Although you’ll be able to pass through the Rift, once you’re on the other side, your body will be in a state of extreme depletion.”
“To recover to the eighth-rank cultivation level, at a normal cultivation speed, it would take at least three years!”
This was what worried Copperbeard the most. To pass through a single gate, scattering a heaven-shaking cultivation—no matter how you calculated it, this deal was a loss that went all the way back to one’s ancestors.
“Three years?”
Lin Fan let out a light laugh. She picked up the necklace and fastened it directly around her fair, slender neck.
The silver tassels draped across her collarbones, adding a touch of ascetic beauty to her cool demeanor.
“Call them in.”
She didn’t explain, simply turning to Su Yue with the order.

……
Ten minutes later.
On the open ground outside the workshop.
Zhou Ming, Sun Jing, Su Xiaoxiao, Su Yue, Yuzuru, Ah Hu, and several others whom Lin Fan trusted, along with the earliest batch of familiar faces from Fragrant Hills International who had followed her from the start.
All of them were at least Level Four or above.
“Lei Jie, this is…”
Ah Hu looked at the black wristband in his hand, somewhat confused.
“Put it on.”
Lin Fan was concise.
Though puzzled, out of absolute obedience to Lei Jie, everyone fastened the wristbands around their wrists.
Click.
A series of crisp metallic snaps rang out in succession.
Lin Fan stood before the crowd, her white dress swaying slightly without any wind.
She extended her right hand, nails painted in black-red polish, and snapped her fingers.
“Charging begins.”
