Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 422 – Trying to play the Dragon Bloodline card in front of me?
The slaughter on the streets was drawing to a close.
The black-armored Lickers were frantically devouring the remains scattered across the ground.
Lin Fan withdrew her gaze.
She stretched lazily.
“Clean it up. Don’t leave a single scrap.”
The Lickers let out ingratiating low growls and quickened their pace of consumption.
Two beeps.
The communicator tucked against her chest went off.
This time, there was no vibration.
Lin Fan touched her collar and opened the channel. “Commander Chu, quick work—you disabled the vibration function that fast.”
“I’ve taken over the capital base’s underlying network.” Chu Chen’s calm voice came through.
“Nice job.” Lin Fan tossed out a casual compliment. “Have you found where Chen Dingjun is?”
“Chen Dingjun isn’t here. According to intelligence within the capital base, he left a month ago for the Pacific Base, where he has a secret weapon under development.”
Lin Fan curled her lip. “He runs fast.”
“So what’s the situation at the capital defense base now? Are they still sending out toys to play with me?” she continued.
“They’ve released all their Genetic Troops—roughly three thousand men.” Chu Chen reported quickly. “But they haven’t left the base perimeter. Judging from the troop deployment map, they’ve fully shifted into a defensive posture and completely abandoned control of the outer area. They must have been scared stiff by your earlier move.”
“Turtles pulling their heads in.” Lin Fan chuckled lightly. “Since the main man isn’t here, there’s no point dragging this out.”
“Lei Li, there are still tens of thousands of regular soldiers in the base, and quite a few low-level researchers. If possible—”
“I know.” Lin Fan cut him off directly. “Kill those who resist. Spare those who surrender willingly or were coerced. Consider it building the initial foundation for your future role as Chief of Staff Chu.”
“Thanks.”
The call ended.
Lin Fan looked up at the gray, overcast sky.
“Time to wipe this place out in one go.”

She tapped the ground lightly with her toe.
The green hanfu skirt rippled outward in a ring of waves.
Like a shell fired from a cannon, she shot straight into the sky, speeding toward the Capital Rift Defense Base ten kilometers away.
Capital Rift Defense Base.
In the core control room, red lights flashed and alarms blared without pause.
“Still no communication restored?!” The general slammed both hands on the table, grinding his teeth.
“Sir, we’ve been completely cut off! All external sensors are being jammed by some kind of powerful magnetic field—we’re blind right now!” The technician was drenched in sweat, fingers flying across the keyboard to no effect.
The general straightened up, his eyes turning vicious. “Who the hell has this kind of technology? And this woman—send the order: open the deepest Zero incubation chamber. Release those things.”
The adjutant beside him went pale with shock upon hearing this. “Sir! The ones in the Zero incubation chamber haven’t been verified yet! They only obey Chief Chen’s orders alone. If you release them now and they go out of control—”
“We can’t even hold the base anymore, so who cares about out of control or not! This is Chief Chen’s order—the base must not fall!” The general kicked over a nearby chair. “Go open the door! I’ll oversee it personally!”
Eighty meters underground.
The deepest experimental zone.
The massive metal airlock door slowly rose, blasting out plumes of white cold vapor.
The general strode quickly into the area, flanked by several fully armed Genetic Troop guards.
Here, there was no smell of gunpowder smoke from above—only the heavy scent of concentrated nutrient solution and disinfectant.
One hundred massive cylindrical glass pods were arranged in perfect rows within the vast space.
Inside each pod floated a naked humanoid creature.
Male and female alike.
But their physical features had already completely departed from the realm of normal humans.
The males had two sharp, dark-red horns protruding from their foreheads, their bodies covered in black scales the size of palms.
The females were seductively curved, dragging thick tails behind them, their skin shimmering with a metallic luster.
This was no crude limb grafting.

“Perfect genetic mutants.” The general gazed at these beings, extreme fervor flashing in his eyes. “Originally all Blue Star elite evolvers of level five or above, after injecting Dragon Clan genetic extract for genetic recombination, they were forcibly elevated to peak level six. A full one hundred peak level six Artificial Dragonkin!”
The adjutant stared at the creatures in the nutrient pods, his throat dry. “Sir, the bloodline concentration of this group of monsters is said to already rival those Collateral Dragonkin from the other world. No matter how strong that woman is, facing a hundred peak level six Dragon Clan mutants, she’d still die without a complete corpse, wouldn’t she?”
The general sneered. “Chief Chen paid a heavy price—capturing over a thousand high-order evolvers for live experiments—all to obtain these one hundred successful products. If we release these Artificial Dragonkin, even on the other side of the Rift they could form a formidable fighting force.”
“Wake them up. Today, let that white-haired woman outside see what true ultimate weapons are.”
The operator at the control console pressed the red button.
Hiss…
All one hundred glass pods drained their nutrient fluid simultaneously.
The pod doors opened in unison.
One hundred Artificial Dragonkin opened their eyes at the same moment.
Their pupils had all transformed into the vertical slit shapes of cold-blooded creatures, radiating cruel light.
Violent energy fluctuations instantly raged through the underground space.
Meanwhile.
Outside the base gates.
The massive steel wall stood thirty meters tall.
Dense array cannons and high-energy laser emitters lined the top of the wall.
Thousands of Gene Soldiers stood atop the ramparts, fully on alert.
In midair, a cyan figure approached from afar with a sonic boom.
Lin Fan stepped through the air.
Her cyan hanfu fluttered in the wind, her pure white hair bun secured with a hairpin swaying behind her head.
She looked down at the colossal steel fortress below, her stunningly beautiful face completely expressionless.
“Open fire! Don’t let her get close!” The defense line commander on the wall roared hoarsely.
Countless flashes of fire shot skyward.
Shells and lasers wove together into an impenetrable web of firepower, streaking straight toward the woman in midair.

Lin Fan couldn’t even be bothered to raise her hand.
A distorted Mental Barrier materialized before her out of thin air.
All the shells and lasers struck the barrier, failing to stir even the slightest ripple before being completely devoured and disintegrated.
“This firepower isn’t even enough to scratch an itch.”
Lin Fan muttered to herself.
She recalled Chu Chen’s instructions.
“Since we need to leave some survivors, I might as well conserve my strength.”
Lin Fan took a deep breath.
Then, facing the massive base below, she activated the combined state of Siren’s Voice and God-level charm.
“Drop your weapons. Surrender and you won’t be killed.”
Her clear, cold voice detonated directly within the mind of every living creature in the base.
This was no negotiation—it was absolute charm and command originating from the depths of the soul.
Instantly, chaos erupted atop the walls.
Large numbers of regular troops and low-tier Genetic Augments had their legs go weak, weapons clattering to the ground as they fell to their knees in droves.
A few high-ranking officers who tried to put up a last-ditch resistance barely raised their guns before their comrades pinned them down hard, leaving them unable to move.
“So that’s it? No more fighting? How boring.”
Lin Fan’s form flickered, and she passed straight through the outer defenses, landing steadily in the central plaza at the heart of the base.
The moment her toes touched the ground—
A deeply muffled rumble erupted from far beneath the earth.
Then, the alloy floor of the plaza violently bulged upward.
Boom.
The ground shattered across a massive area.

A hundred savage figures burst through the earth’s crust, landing steadily around Lin Fan.
They spread out rapidly, encircling her completely.
Dragon horns.
Dragon Scales.
Dragon tails.
A dense aura of Tyranny and a broken, incomplete Dragon Clan pressure crashed down from all directions upon the woman standing at the center.
The general’s voice boomed through the loudspeakers surrounding the plaza, laced with manic laughter.
“Hahaha! You’re certainly strong! But today, you’re facing the highest-grade genetic crystallization of our Federation—one hundred peak Level Six experts bearing true Dragon Bloodline!”
“This is a force that could dominate even on the other side of the Rift! Surrender obediently, and I’ll leave you a whole corpse for our research!”
Lin Fan stood in the middle of the encirclement.
She looked at the “Artificial Dragonkin” around her—these creatures with horns and tails.
A profoundly strange expression suddenly surfaced on her originally cold, aloof face.
She wasn’t afraid.
She was amused.
“Dragon Bloodline?”
Lin Fan arched her finely shaped brows.
In her starry, nebula-swirling eyes, a phantom image of golden Vertical pupils flashed sharply.
A terrifying pressure—more noble than even the Pureblood Dragon Clan—erupted outward from her, sweeping across everything in an instant.
The surrounding air froze solid in that moment.
“Playing the Dragon Bloodline game in front of me?”
Lin Fan looked at the Artificial Dragonkin around her—creatures that had been snarling ferociously moments ago but were now trembling uncontrollably under Bloodline Suppression.
“Are you tired of living, or just eager to be reincarnated?”
