Lin Fan’s legs bent slightly.
Several cracks split the ground beneath her.
The next second, she launched herself into the air.
No Mental Strength to lift her—pure physical explosive force.
At the apex of her leap, she twisted her waist with sudden power, raised her right leg high, and brought a heel strike crashing down on the dense formation of Mutants below.
Boom!
The concrete plaza caved in on the spot, forming a crater ten meters in diameter.
A violent shockwave rippled outward along the ground, blasting the two hundred-plus Gene Soldiers at the center flying.
She glanced down at her skirt hem and nodded to herself.
The force was controlled just right—the fabric hadn’t split.
Too bad the stockings that took the brunt of it were already shredded, revealing the pale, tender soles of her feet.
The defensive systems on the city wall went into full activation.
Hundreds of high-energy lasers and electromagnetic cannon rounds wove into a net, converging on the cyan figure at the crater’s edge.
Lin Fan didn’t dodge or evade.
Her physical toughness, forged from fifty thousand points of Constitution, surpassed every known material on Blue Star.
The blinding lasers struck her bare skin without raising its temperature by even half a degree.
The electromagnetic shells slammed into her vicinity, only to be warped and deflected by her Mental Barrier, bouncing to the ground.
It wasn’t that her body couldn’t take them—it was that she didn’t want her pretty dress ruined.
“My turn.”
Lin Fan’s form flickered, vanishing from where she stood.
When she reappeared, she had already charged into the Gene Soldier ranks on the left flank.

Unlike the cunning, vicious fighting style she’d used when transforming into Long Wu to spar with Lu Yuan, this Lin Fan fought with pure savagery.
No Mental Strength, no Special Ability—just raw straight punches, whip kicks, and elbow strikes.
A half-bear augmented human at early Stage Six roared and lunged at her.
Lin Fan sidestepped the bear claws, curled her right fist, and drove an uppercut into his jaw.
A crack of shattering bone rang out as the half-bear’s head tore free from his spine and flew into the air.
Three Artificial Dragonkin ambushed from behind, six scale-covered claws sealing off her escape routes.
Lin Fan didn’t even turn her head—her right leg whipped around in a vicious spinning kick.
Thud, thud, thud —three impacts in rapid succession.
The chests of all three Artificial Dragonkin caved in one after another, their bodies hurtling backward to smash through the alloy floodlights at the edge of the training ground.
She wove through the dense ranks, her cyan hanfu skirt fluttering up and down.
Wherever she passed, severed limbs and dismembered bodies flew through the air.
Dark red blood pooled across the ground, yet not a single drop touched her stockings or skirt hem.
The slaughter continued, but Lin Fan hadn’t lost herself to bloodlust.
Having inherited Long Xuan’s emotional perception after fusing with her Skin, her ability to sense the emotions of living beings around her was absurdly acute.
A thuggish augmented human charged head-on, radiating undisguised malice and killing intent.
Lin Fan showed no mercy—her fist punched straight through his chest.
But behind him, a young soldier clutching an electromagnetic rifle was trembling, his eyes filled with terror of death and reluctance to fight—clearly forced onto the battlefield.
As Lin Fan passed him, she twisted her wrist and gave a light slap to the back of his neck.
The young soldier rolled his eyes and collapsed, knocked out on the spot.
Those who bore her intense hostility—she blew them apart with a single punch.
Those who harbored no malice and were merely coerced—augmented humans or low-ranking soldiers—she knocked out cleanly without killing.

A force of ten thousand, against a humanoid female tyrannosaur with absolute speed and strength who never tires—it was merely a matter of taking extra time to clean up.
Lin Fan harvested lives while filtering through the crowd.
“This Level 6 early-stage augmented snake-woman isn’t bad.”
Bang! A chop to the neck.
The snake-woman’s eyes rolled back, and she collapsed limp to the ground.
“A winged harpy, Spirit Energy fluctuations also reaching Level 6.”
Whoosh!
Lin Fan leaped into the air and kicked her down from midair, precisely knocking her out the moment she hit the ground.
She tossed all the unconscious female experimental subjects into the massive pit at the center of the plaza.
Forty-three in total.
All female Mutants and Artificial Dragonkin above Level 6.
Prime material for crafting Epic-grade Skins.
Twenty minutes later.
The deafeningly chaotic base plaza fell completely silent.
Of the thousands, over sixty percent had been directly blown apart, while the remaining forty percent lay on the ground unconscious.
Lin Fan stood amidst the mountain of corpses and sea of blood, casually patting her sleeve.
Her breathing was steady—she hadn’t even broken a sweat.
Underground control room.
The general stared at the hellish scene on the screen through the backup surveillance camera, clutching his hair with both hands, eyes bloodshot.
“A monster… she’s a monster!”
He whipped around to glare at his equally terrified adjutant beside him.

“Activate the self-destruct sequence! We can’t leave the experimental data to her!”
Just as his finger was about to press that red button—
A dull thud echoed from the meter-thick blast door.
Then—
BOOM!
A delicate, stocking-clad foot stood across the doorway.
The special-alloy gate, weighing dozens of tons, had been kicked clean off its hinges from the outside, flying over ten meters with its frame and smashing a row of control consoles to pieces.
Lin Fan walked into the control room, glancing at the general frozen in place.
Her form flickered, and in an instant she was right in front of him, her right hand locking onto his neck and hoisting him off the ground.
“Go on, press the button. Why aren’t you pressing it?”
The general’s legs flailed wildly, his face flushed crimson, meaningless syllables gurgling from his throat.
Lin Fan applied a slight pressure.
Crack.
The neck bone snapped, and the general’s head drooped lifelessly.
Tossing the corpse aside, Lin Fan turned to face the adjutant and several technicians cowering in the corner.
“You lot—got a problem with me?”
Direct question.
The adjutant shook his head frantically, tears and snot streaming down his face.
“No… absolutely not! Sir, we’re just logistics techs—we were forcibly conscripted!”
“That’s more like it. Stay put and don’t come out. Someone will be here to take over shortly.”
Lin Fan left those words behind and walked out of the control room.

Back on the surface.
She reached into the collar of her ice-silk gown and pulled a communicator from her lace bra.
Pressing the button to open the channel.
“Chu Chen, the capital’s been cleared. Anyone still alive is knocked out—send people to take over.”
Chu Chen’s voice came through the communicator.
“Efficient. Transport planes are ready, Lu Yuan’s leading the team personally. Estimated arrival in five hours.”
“There are plenty of living researchers and intact experimental pods in the underground base. Chen Dingjun’s genetic equipment is somewhat interesting—take it back and tinker with it yourself,” Lin Fan said.
“Just what I wanted. Quite a few people there know me; absorbing the coerced lower-level personnel won’t be difficult. Chen Dingjun’s iron-fisted rule has long bred resentment among them.”
The faint clatter of keyboard keys came through.
Lin Fan glanced at the pile of female Mutants in the pit.
“Have you found Chen Dingjun’s old lair in the Pacific yet?”
“Not yet.” Chu Chen replied quickly. “The signal source at the Pacific base uses physical isolation—no external radio communications whatsoever. I need time to analyze it.”
Lin Fan frowned slightly.
“Then let him be for now. What about the situation in the States?”
“Wang Shan’s location has been locked in.” Chu Chen paused. “He’s holed up with the core leadership of the compromise faction in the Black House base in the former U.S. capital.”
Lin Fan laughed out loud.
“The Black House? That old bastard sure knows how to pick a spot. Will Chuan Jinmao listen to him?”
Lin Fan stretched, his joints cracking with crisp pops.
“I’ll head out first—you handle this mess yourself.”
Tucking the communicator back into his chest pocket, Lin Fan walked toward the large pit in the training ground.
“System, time to work!”
