Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 429 – Gender-swapped Long Yi
Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 429 – Gender-swapped Long Yi
Deep within the base.
Laboratory Zero.
Three alloy doors layered one after another, each half a meter thick.
Chen Dingjun, clad in a white lab coat, braced both hands against the observation window of the cultivation tank, his forehead nearly pressed against the glass.
He was sixty-seven years old, hair mostly white, eyes deeply sunken, cheekbones prominent. But his eyes burned with an alarming intensity—a fanatical fire smoldering in his pupils.
“It’s done.”
His voice started as a whisper, his Adam’s apple bobbing twice.
Then he threw his head back and roared with laughter.
“Hahahaha! Done! I’ve finally done it!”
Chen Dingjun slammed his fists against the tank’s reinforced glass, rattling the instrument trays nearby.
The massive cylindrical cultivation tank was filled with pale blue nutrient fluid.
A naked woman floated suspended within.
Golden hair drifted slowly through the liquid, and from either side of her forehead grew a pair of dark-gold dragon horns, their surfaces etched with fine patterns—each line faintly glowing.
Her features were strikingly sculpted. High brow bones, a straight nose, a sharp jawline.
If Lin Fan were here, he would recognize her in an instant—this face bore a five-part resemblance to Long Yi.
No, to be precise, this was a female version of Long Yi.
She looked even more like Long Yi than Long Qingyue, his own biological sister.
The woman’s eyes were closed, her chest rising and falling gently with the circulation of the nutrient fluid.
Terrifying waves of energy rippled outward from her body, passing through the reinforced glass and sending documents scattering across the laboratory floor.

Chen Dingjun stared at the readings on the instruments.
“Peak Level Seven! A perfect lifeform!” Chen Dingjun shouted, fists clenched.
The researchers nearby looked exhausted.
“Commander.” The chief researcher approached with a tablet. “After integrating those special DNA fragments, the experimental subject’s genetic sequence has fully stabilized.”
“Can it be controlled?” Chen Dingjun turned to ask.
“We implanted a top-tier control chip into her cerebral cortex.” The researcher swallowed hard. “Moreover, her neural structure was cultivated from scratch—on a subconscious level, she obeys only your commands.”
Chen Dingjun nodded with satisfaction.
“Blue Star is saved.” Chen Dingjun gazed at the tank. “That old dog Wang Shan, now running with Chuan Jinmao, thinks licking the Dragon Clan’s boots will make him a local emperor. Does he understand the power of technology?”
The researcher chimed in: “With technology like this, even the Dragon Clan will have to bow.”
“This was bought with the lives of our Gene Stitching Squad.” Chen Dingjun’s eyes burned with fervor. “They infiltrated the Dragon Spirit Continent disguised as demi-humans. Near the Dragon Emperor Hall, in the ruins of an ancient battlefield, they collected residual blood from high-ranking Dragon Clan members.”
Chen Dingjun reached out and caressed the cultivation tank.
“Especially this Prime Gene. The bloodline energy it contains is overwhelmingly dominant—filled with an indescribable sense of nobility. All other Dragon Clan DNA pales before it like subjects before their emperor.” Chen Dingjun sneered. “The Dragon Clan’s high-tier combat forces can’t cross the Space Gate. Now, with this, Blue Star is mine—Chen Dingjun’s domain!”
He spun around abruptly.
“Initiate the awakening sequence immediately! Prepare the transport ship.” Chen Dingjun commanded. “I’m going straight to the U.S. to tear that traitorous bastard Wang Shan apart limb by limb—and test the experimental subject’s stability while I’m at it!”
A beep sounded from outside the door.
The alloy door slid open, and a lieutenant general strode in quickly.
“Commander!” The lieutenant general saluted.
“Didn’t I say no interruptions during the experiment?” Chen Dingjun frowned.
The lieutenant general glanced at the woman in the culture tank, his expression shaken, and quickly lowered his head.

“The outer perimeter of the base is under attack,” the lieutenant general reported rapidly. “The outer energy shield has sustained severe damage.”
Chen Dingjun’s face darkened.
“Has the Dragon Clan attacked?”
“No.” The lieutenant general shook his head. “It’s an unknown creature. Surveillance captured a pure white mermaid.”
The lieutenant general handed over the tablet in his hand.
Chen Dingjun glanced at the screenshot on the screen.
A white-haired mermaid hovered in the seawater, breathtakingly beautiful.
“Mermaid?” Chen Dingjun sneered. “Just a mutated breed from the ocean. Did she break through the shield?”
“No. She cracked the shield with a single tail strike and then vanished. Sonar can’t find any trace of her at all.”
“Don’t worry about her for now.” Chen Dingjun tossed the tablet back to the lieutenant general. “Have the perimeter guards step up patrols. The current priority is Experimental Subject Zero. Once I’ve dealt with Wang Shan, I’ll have plenty of time to catch these exotic beasts and slice them up for research.”
“Understood!” The lieutenant general saluted and withdrew.
At the same time.
Base Sector B, living quarters corridor.
At a blind spot in the surveillance cameras.
A mass of distorted air gradually solidified.
Lin Fan remained in her phased state, her long, slender legs stepping onto the cold metal floor.
She was completely naked, with nothing left to the imagination.
Base personnel in protective suits occasionally rushed past, yet they couldn’t see her at all—her Mental Strength warped the light and shadows around her.
“This Federation tech really has something to it.” Lin Fan surveyed the thick metal bulkheads and tangled pipelines around her.

She could feel the terrifying water pressure bearing down from above.
“To build a turtle shell this big at ten thousand meters deep, even that freak Chu Chen’s brain couldn’t pinpoint it.” Lin Fan curled her lip. “With this water pressure and that energy-isolating shield, no wonder even I couldn’t sense anything from the outside earlier.”
She’d originally planned to punch straight through the base from outside.
But this was ten thousand meters deep.
The moment the shield broke, seawater would flood in.
Aside from her freakish body being able to withstand it, everyone in this base would be crushed into a pulp within a second.
She didn’t care whether Chen Dingjun lived or died.
But those high-level female experimental subjects were prime Skin materials.
If they all got crushed flat by the seawater, where would she go to cry about it?
“I really am a thrifty and virtuous woman.” Lin Fan sighed.
With a shift of thought.
A simple pure white slip dress flew out from the System Space.
She quickly slipped it on.
The fabric clung to her skin, just barely covering the tops of her thighs and concealing her private areas.
Her feet remained bare.
In this fully enclosed metal base, wearing shoes would make noise and risk exposure with every step.
She deactivated part of her phased state.
Tiptoeing lightly, she moved swiftly through the corridor, following the densest concentration of Spirit Energy as she advanced in stealth.
“Chen Dingjun, oh Chen Dingjun, you’d better have some premium goods prepared for me.” Lin Fan licked her lips.

She turned a corner and came face-to-face with a squad of fully armed patrol soldiers.
Ten in total.
All clad in exoskeleton armor, each carrying a large-caliber electromagnetic rifle.
The squad leader at the front was at early Stage Four.
Lin Fan didn’t dodge.
She simply stood right in the middle of the corridor, bold as could be.
The patrol squad halted.
The squad leader raised his rifle, his eyes behind the visor filled with astonishment.
“Who goes there! Stop right where you are!” the squad leader barked.
Lin Fan smiled.
Her pitch-black eyes instantly lit up with a starlike glow.
The Charm Magic Eye activated in tandem with God-level charm.
An invisible wave of Mental Strength swept across the ten men like a tide.
The patrol members froze mid-motion.
Their large-caliber rifles all drooped downward.
Their gazes turned vacant, then shifted into extreme fervor and submission.
“Lead the way,” Lin Fan said, his voice ethereal.
“To your laboratory.”
