Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 458 – Spatial Teleportation Array
The tiger-woman didn’t wait for Lin Fan’s answer before lifting the curtain and squeezing herself inside.
The tent flap clattered loudly against her broad shoulders as she entered.
“My name’s Hu Ya.”
She plopped herself down on the empty mattress across from Lin Fan, her crossed legs taking up half the tent floor.
“Tiger-kin, from Marshstone City.”
Her introduction was as crisp and clean as the way she gnawed on bones—no dragging, no hesitation.
“Long Ningshuang.”
Lin Fan tucked her feet in, making room for her.
“I spotted you the moment you walked past the men’s camp.”
Hu Ya’s gaze swept over Lin Fan before settling on the black iron token at her waist.
“Level seven. Impressive.”
There was no envy, no probing—just a plain statement.
Lin Fan didn’t dislike this kind of straightforward personality.
“Lucky, that’s all.”
Lin Fan leaned against the tent pole, her tone casual.
“If luck alone could get someone to level seven, then I must be unlucky enough to go mining.”
Hu Ya grinned wide, revealing two sharp fangs.
Her smile was as aggressive as her bulging muscles, but there was no malice in her eyes.
“I used to be the highest-ranked in this camp. Now that an expert’s arrived, the pressure’s off my shoulders.”
“You were the highest before?”
“You bet.”
Hu Ya slapped her own thigh.
“Forty-three women in this camp—over thirty of them are at peak level six, and the rest are late level six Collateral Dragonkin. Before, I was the only one at the top, so I got pushed out to represent everyone for everything. Drove me crazy.”
The curtain was pushed open from outside again.
Three Collateral Dragonkin women ducked inside.
The one in front looked to be in her early thirties, her dark-gold dragon horns a good bit shorter than Lin Fan’s. She wore a simple battle robe made of coarse linen, the fabric washed pale from repeated use.
“Mind if we sit?”
The lead woman asked.
“This isn’t the city lord’s manor—make yourselves at home.”
Hu Ya waved a broad hand.

The three dragon women settled at the edge of the mattress, their postures noticeably more reserved.
Once inside, their gazes all swept over Lin Fan first.
The motion was restrained, but it couldn’t hide the curiosity in their eyes.
A Collateral Dragonkin had reached level seven.
The news had spread through the women’s camp in less than a quarter of an hour—anyone who needed to know already knew.
“My name’s Long Su.”
The lead woman spoke first.
“These are Long Yao and Long Shuangling. We’re all from Redrock City. Late level six.”
“Long Ningshuang. Redhorn City.”
Lin Fan gave a nod.
Long Su’s gaze lingered on Lin Fan’s face for a moment before quickly darting away.
Unlike Hu Ya, the three of them clearly weren’t as open—they ran their words through their minds before speaking.
The tent fell silent for two seconds.
Hu Ya was the first to break it, but her question caught everyone off guard.
“Ning Shuang.”
Her eyes locked onto Lin Fan’s waist.
“Where’d you buy that skirt?”
Lin Fan glanced down at the black-and-gold horse-face skirt she was wearing.
“What about it?”
“It looks good.”
Hu Ya’s compliment was refreshingly direct.
“I’ve lived over thirty years and never seen this style.”
Long Su looked over as well, her earlier reserve fading into obvious interest.
“It is rather unique.”
Long Su’s voice was low, but it couldn’t hide the genuine curiosity in her tone.
“It’s not a common style on the Dragon Spirit Continent, and the fabric is different too.”
“You know your stuff.”
Lin Fan tugged at the hem of her skirt.
“I used to work at a tailor’s shop.”

Long Su touched her battle robe, washed pale from countless wear, and gave a bitter smile.
“But those were all rough work. The craftsmanship on this piece of yours—even if you combined every tailor in Redrock City, they couldn’t produce something like this.”
Long Yao chimed in as well.
“The key thing is it looks good without getting in the way.”
She mimicked a high-kicking motion.
“Regular long skirts are a pain to fight in, but yours… the sides are slit open, and there are hidden clasps inside to cinch it up. Looks great to wear, and doesn’t slow you down in a fight either.”
“She hit the nail on the head.”
Hu Ya slapped her thigh hard.
“Female warriors of the Tiger Clan can only wear short armor normally, because long garments just tear the moment you get into a fight—might as well not wear them. But this skirt of yours… it’s both a skirt and a battle robe, and it looks especially good.”
Lin Fan listened as the group went from fabric to tailoring, from tailoring to practical combat adaptability, and the corner of his mouth curved up slightly.
If Su Yue were here to hear this, she’d be frantically scribbling notes in her little book again.
“If you want some, I can help you get some made later,” Lin Fan said casually.
Hu Ya’s eyes lit up.
“Really? Then I want one in tiger-stripe colors!”
“You, with all that muscle, wearing a horse-face skirt?”
Long Shuangling finally couldn’t hold back, her tone carrying a hint of teasing.
“I’m afraid you’d burst the hem wide open.”
“What did you say?!”
“I said you’re built.”
A few muffled laughs sounded through the tent.
The atmosphere relaxed.
Lin Fan waited for the laughter to die down, then followed the thread of conversation.
“By the way, how long has it been since you all were conscripted?”
“I arrived half a month ago.”
Hu Ya counted on her fingers.
“Long Su and the others came a few days after me. Anyway, most of the women’s camp arrived gradually over the last half month or so.”
“And the men’s camp?”
“Earlier. The first batch arrived over a month ago.”
Hu Ya lowered her voice as she said this.

“But the higher-ups haven’t said when we’re actually moving out. They’re just keeping us here waiting around.”
Lin Fan nodded, then asked as if offhandedly.
“There’s something I haven’t figured out. The Dragon Clan has so many major cities—why drag everyone all the way to White Bone Pass? This place is in the middle of nowhere, and supply lines are a pain.”
The tent fell quiet for a moment.
Long Yao and Long Shuangling exchanged a glance but didn’t respond.
Long Su hesitated, then spoke up.
“I used to… serve as an attendant by the side of a Pureblood young master for a while.”
Her voice grew soft, as if recalling an experience she’d rather not revisit.
“That young master had a loose tongue when he was drunk. Once at a banquet, he was boasting to his friends, saying that White Bone Pass housed a spatial teleportation array personally established by the Dragon Emperor.”
Lin Fan’s expression didn’t change at all, but the light deep in his pupils contracted slightly.
“A spatial teleportation array?”
Her tone was exactly the reaction of someone hearing the term for the first time.
Curious, but not overly so.
“Yes.”
Long Su nodded.
“That young master said this array could send people directly to the front of each Rift—no need to fly tens of thousands of miles to get there. Step on it, and you arrive.”
Hu Ya picked up the thread.
“That explains it. White Bone Pass is remote and heavily guarded—outsiders can’t get in. Gathering here and then teleporting straight into battle is far more efficient than each city dispatching troops separately.”
“Who told you that?”
Long Shuangling looked at Hu Ya.
“I figured it out myself. Did you think I was all muscle and no brains?”
Hu Ya rolled her eyes.
Lin Fan slowly smoothed out the folds of the skirt over his knee.
A spatial teleportation array.
It could directly interface with the various Rifts.
The low-tier Artificial Demons that surged toward Blue Star every time a Rift opened were most likely batch-deployed through this Teleportation Array.
A Mutated Beast breeding farm.
The beacon coordinates that Zhou Ming had reverse-locked through Spatial Fluctuation pointed to this very area.
Breeding farm, Teleportation Array, assembly point.

All at White Bone Pass.
“Ning Shuang?”
Long Su called out to her.
“What are you thinking about?”
“Just wondering what the Teleportation Array actually looks like.”
Lin Fan raised his head, a perfectly measured look of curiosity on his face.
“I’ve never seen anything like that in my life.”
“Who has?”
Hu Ya waved a hand dismissively.
“That’s a core secret of the Pureblood Dragon Clan.” We’re lucky just to be sent to the battlefield as grunts. Where the Teleportation Array sits inside the pass, how it operates—none of that has anything to do with us.”
Lin Fan smiled slightly and didn’t press further.
He’d asked just enough.
Any more questions and it would start to look deliberate.
From outside the tent came the sound of patrol guards changing shifts.
The sky was darkening. Campfires were being lit in the distance, and the air carried the smell of roasting meat and pine resin.
Hu Ya stood up and patted the dirt off her pants.
“Alright, enough chit-chat. Time to go get dinner. Ning Shuang, coming?”
“You two go ahead.”
Lin Fan waved them off.
“I’ll rest a bit.”
The three Collateral Dragonkin followed Hu Ya out of the tent.
The moment the curtain fell, the light inside dimmed by a few shades.
The Teleportation Array had to be located in the deepest restricted zone of White Bone Pass.
That was also where the breeding farm she was looking for would be.
No rush.
The “big shot” from Dragon Emperor Hall hadn’t arrived yet.
Once that one made an appearance, all attention inside the pass would shift to the command level.
That would be the perfect time for her to make her move.
