Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 77 – The Goddess Descends
Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 77 – The Goddess Descends
Iron Fist glanced at the SUV disappearing in a cloud of dust, a disdainful sneer on his face.
“Go after him.”
He casually ordered a subordinate behind him who was holding a pistol.
“Don’t let him get away.”
“Yes, boss!”
The subordinate immediately called over three others. They jumped into a modified pickup truck nearby, its engine roaring to life as they sped off in pursuit of Zhou Ming.
Having done all this, Iron Fist turned back around and looked at Ah Hu and the nineteen fully armed team members behind him with great interest.
His gaze swept over the twenty dark muzzles, his face showing not a trace of fear, but rather a hint of mockery.
“Fragrant Hills International?”
He grinned, revealing two rows of stark white teeth.
“Now, it’s your turn.”
Ah Hu’s expression was extremely grim.
He didn’t speak, merely making a hand signal to his team members behind him to prepare to fire.
The atmosphere instantly tensed.
“Hahaha!”
As if he had just heard the world’s biggest joke, Iron Fist suddenly threw his head back and roared with laughter.
His laughter was rough and loud, vibrating the very air around them.
“You think you can hurt me with these fire pokers?”
Laughing, he began to walk toward Ah Hu and his men.
He walked slowly, each step seeming to land on everyone’s heart.
The immense pressure made some of the younger team members’ breathing become ragged.
“Fire!”
Ah Hu roared, the first to pull the trigger.
“Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat!”
The dense sound of gunfire erupted in an instant as muzzles flashed in unison.
Countless bullets formed a deadly metal storm, blanketing Iron Fist.
A savage look flashed across Iron Fist’s face.
He didn’t dodge.
Instead, he abruptly raised his arms—each thicker than a normal person’s thigh—to shield his head, face, and chest.
“Clang, clang, clang, clang!”
A dense, crisp sound, like popping soybeans, rang out.

The bullets struck his grayish-black skin, kicking up a series of tiny sparks.
Then, as if they had hit a solid steel plate, the warheads were deflected by the immense counterforce, falling powerlessly to the ground.
All that was left on his skin were faint white dots.
He didn’t even have a scratch!
“What!”
Ah Hu and his team members behind him were all dumbfounded.
What… what kind of monster was this?
Flesh and blood withstanding assault rifle bullets?
“I told you.”
Iron Fist lowered his arms, a cruel smile on his face.
“These things are useless against me.”
He stomped his foot violently.
“Boom!”
The ground trembled.
He bent down and grabbed a nearby abandoned sedan with both hands.
“Roar!”
He let out a beast-like roar, his waist and abdomen muscles tensing abruptly.
The small car, weighing over a ton, was actually lifted by him, raised high above his head!
At the entrance of the shopping center, everyone was stunned speechless by this scene.
“Go to hell!”
Iron Fist roared, hurling the car in his hands viciously toward Ah Hu and his men!
Whoosh!
The sedan traced a parabola through the air, whistling like a meteorite as it smashed down toward the crowd.
“Scatter!”
Ah Hu’s eyes looked ready to split as he let out a hoarse cry.
The team members dove terrified to the sides.
“BOOM!”
A deafening crash.
The car slammed heavily onto the ground, blasting a large crater into the concrete.
The violent shockwave sent several team members who couldn’t dodge in time flying.

“Dammit!”
Ah Hu climbed up from the ground, spitting out a mouthful of bloody saliva.
He looked at the giant man who resembled a demon god, a deep sense of powerlessness welling up in his heart.
He should have brought the armored vehicle!
Ordinary rifle bullets couldn’t inflict any effective damage on this monster at all!
“Keep firing! Don’t let him get close!”
Ah Hu issued another command.
“Aim for his eyes! His groin!”
The team members reorganized their firepower, pouring bullets toward Iron Fist.
Although Iron Fist wasn’t afraid of bullets, he was forced to slow his advance in the face of such a dense web of fire.
He protected his vital areas with his thick arms, struggling forward step by step.
Zhao Lei, who had collapsed against the wall, watched this scene with eyes full of despair and horror.
“Impossible…”
He muttered to himself.
“Half a month ago… half a month ago, Fire Phoenix could still easily suppress him…”
“Back then, although his strength was great, his skin couldn’t possibly block bullets!”
“How long has it been… how did he get so strong…”
“Could it be… he evolved again?”
Ah Hu heard Zhao Lei’s words, and his heart sank.
Second evolution!
That term was like a great mountain, crushing the air from his lungs.
He glanced at his magazine; more than half the bullets were gone.
If this continued, the moment they ran out of ammunition would be the moment they were slaughtered.
Lei-jie…
If you don’t get here soon, we’re really all going to die here!
…
On the other side.
Zhou Ming had the accelerator floored.
The SUV’s engine screamed in agony as it tore frantically through the ruins.
In his rearview mirror, the silhouette of the pickup truck remained in hot pursuit.

“Bang! Bang!”
On the pickup, the gunman was still firing relentlessly.
Bullets struck the SUV’s rear windshield with crisp cracks, the glass already covered in a spiderweb of fractures.
Zhou Ming’s heart was in his throat.
He didn’t dare to lose focus for a second, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly as he relied on his familiarity with the terrain to continuously execute all sorts of risky evasive maneuvers.
Faster!
Just a little faster!
I have to get the message to Lei-jie!
…
Fragrant Hills International Tower, the eighteenth-floor rooftop.
Gentle sunlight spilled onto a pure white dress.
Lin Fan was half-reclining on a comfortable beach chair, a pair of large sunglasses on her face.
With one leg crossed, she held a bottle of bright red nail polish in her left hand, while the small brush in her right was carefully applying the enchanting color to her fair, rounded toenails.
A gentle breeze swept by, rustling her dark hair and the hem of her white dress.
The scene was impossibly beautiful.
Just then.
A faint burst of gunfire drifted from the distance.
Lin Fan’s hand, painting her nails, paused slightly.
She took off her sunglasses, sat up straight, and looked in the direction of the gunfire.
The high vantage point, combined with her physical constitution of over three hundred, gave her vision far superior to that of an ordinary person.
Even from several kilometers away, she could still clearly see a familiar SUV being frantically chased by a pickup truck.
It was Zhou Ming.
Lin Fan’s brow furrowed almost imperceptibly.
It seemed Ah Hu and the others were in trouble.
She stood up and casually placed the nail polish back into her Storage Space.
Then, she quickly slipped on the pair of silver high-heeled sandals beside her and walked to the edge of the rooftop.
The height of the eighteenth floor was enough to make any normal person feel dizzy.
But there was not a trace of fear on Lin Fan’s face.
She simply tapped her toes lightly on the ground.
Her entire body, like a weightless feather, silently floated out.

Psychokinesis gently supported her body.
The white figure traced an elegant arc through the air, flying rapidly toward the distant battlefield.
…
“Dammit! This kid’s as slippery as an eel!”
On the pickup truck, the gunman cursed as he slapped in a new magazine.
“Third Brother, get closer! I’m gonna blow out his tires!”
The driver yanked the steering wheel, preparing to overtake from the side.
Just then.
Zhou Ming felt the light above him seem to dim for a moment.
He subconsciously looked up.
A white figure flashed past, high above the roof of his car.
What was that?
A bird?
No… it looked like a person?
Before he could get a clear look.
A deafening crash came from behind him.
“BOOM!!!”
Zhou Ming slammed on the brakes and looked back.
And then, he saw a scene he would never forget for the rest of his life.
The pickup truck that had been so aggressively chasing him just moments ago was now a huge, twisted metal pancake.
Its roof had completely collapsed, pressed tightly against the chassis.
The four people inside probably didn’t even have a single complete corpse left.
And above that metal pancake.
A white figure was slowly floating in mid-air.
She wore a white dress, her figure slender and graceful.
The hem of her dress swayed with the gentle breeze.
She just stood there quietly in the air, as if she had just done something utterly trivial.
Zhou Ming’s mind went blank.
His mouth hung open, his eyes were as wide as saucers, and his face was a mask of incomprehensible shock and wild joy.
Lei… Lei-jie?
