Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 78 – Manned Flight
Skinwalker Belle – Chapter 78 – Manned Flight
Zhou Ming sat in the car, completely stunned.
He stared blankly, his head tilted back, at the white figure suspended in mid-air.
A long white dress fluttered gently in the wind.
As the hem of the dress billowed, a pair of purple, semi-sheer lace panties was revealed without any obstruction right above his head.
Vaguely, he could even see the faint outline of what was inside…
Zhou Ming’s face instantly flushed crimson.
His breathing grew ragged, and his heart pounded as if it were about to explode.
But the next second, he shook his head violently.
No.
This isn’t the time to be thinking about this.
Ah Hu and the others are still waiting to be rescued!
“Lei-jie!”
Zhou Ming pushed the car door open, jumped out, and shouted toward the sky.
“Ah Hu and the others are in trouble at the South City Shopping Mall!”
“There’s an Evolved being named Iron Fist, a strength-type, impervious to blades and bullets!”
“Ah Hu’s team can’t suppress him with their firepower at all!”
In the air, Lin Fan lowered her head slightly to look at Zhou Ming.
“Iron Fist?”
Her voice was calm, betraying no emotion.
“The boss of the East City Steel Mill?”
“Yes!” Zhou Ming nodded emphatically.
“He brought over thirty men to seize Fire Phoenix’s stronghold!”
“Ah Hu and his men are about to be overrun!”
Lin Fan fell silent for a second.
Then, she slowly descended, landing in front of Zhou Ming.
Her silver high-heeled sandals tapped lightly on the ground.
She raised her head and glanced toward South City in the distance.
“Come here.”
She spoke suddenly.
“Huh?” Zhou Ming was taken aback.
“I said, come here.”
Zhou Ming quickly did as he was told.
He had just walked over to Lin Fan’s side and hadn’t yet processed what was happening.
Lin Fan reached out and grabbed him by the collar.

“Wait, Lei-jie, what are you—”
Before he could finish his sentence.
Zhou Ming felt his feet leave the ground.
Lin Fan had lifted him clean off the ground by his collar.
“Holy shit!”
Scared out of his wits, Zhou Ming kicked his legs wildly in mid-air.
Lin Fan ignored his cry of alarm.
With a thought, she enveloped both her and Zhou Ming’s bodies in Psychokinesis.
In an instant, the two of them shot up into the sky.
“Ahhhhhh!”
Zhou Ming let out a bloodcurdling scream.
He glanced down at the ground shrinking rapidly below him and felt his stomach lurch.
It was too high!
They had to be dozens of meters up!
If he fell from here, he would definitely be splattered into a meat paste!
“Lei-jie! Lei-jie! I’m scared!”
Zhou Ming’s voice was an octave higher.
Lin Fan frowned.
Lifting Zhou Ming by the collar was indeed a bit tiring.
The guy had to weigh at least one hundred and fifty pounds.
Although her Psychokinesis could easily support him, holding him like this was just too awkward.
“Hold on to me.”
Lin Fan said suddenly.
“Huh?” Zhou Ming froze.
“I said, hold on to me,” Lin Fan’s tone grew impatient. “It’s tiring to keep carrying you like this.”
Zhou Ming swallowed hard.
Hold… hold on to Lei-jie?
Is… is that appropriate?
But the next second, he glanced down at the bottomless height below.
Fuck appropriate!
My life is on the line!
Without another word, Zhou Ming threw his arms out and wrapped them tightly around Lin Fan’s slender waist.
He clung to Lin Fan’s body like a koala.
His legs instinctively wrapped around her as well.

Lin Fan’s body stiffened slightly.
This guy…
Isn’t he holding on a little too tight?
She could clearly feel Zhou Ming’s chest, heaving violently with fear, pressed firmly against her.
And his hot breath fanned across her neck.
Whatever.
I can’t be bothered.
She increased the output of her Psychokinesis.
Their figures turned into a streak of white light, speeding toward South City.
Zhou Ming kept his eyes squeezed shut, his face buried in the crook of Lin Fan’s shoulder, not daring to move a muscle.
The wind howled in his ears.
The tip of his nose was filled with the faint, orchid-like fragrance from Lin Fan’s body.
He could feel that the body he was clinging to so tightly was utterly perfect.
A slender waist that could be encircled with one hand.
A soft touch that made one’s heart race.
Zhou Ming felt his face burning as if it were on fire.
But he didn’t dare let go.
Nor did he dare open his eyes.
He could only hold on to Lin Fan for dear life, praying they would reach their destination soon.
Feeling the man in her arms’ tension and awkwardness, the corner of Lin Fan’s mouth curved into a faint smile.
What an innocent guy.
However…
She glanced down at the hem of her dress.
The long white dress was constantly flipping upward under the wind pressure of their high-speed flight.
Her semi-sheer purple underwear was almost completely exposed to the air.
Lin Fan’s brow twitched slightly.
Looks like I’ll have to wear safety shorts when flying from now on.
Or…
Should I just go back to wearing yoga pants?
…
South City Shopping Mall.
The gunfire had already stopped.
It wasn’t that Ah Hu and his men didn’t want to keep firing.

It was that they were out of bullets.
The ground was littered with spent casings.
The acrid smell of gunpowder filled the air.
Ah Hu and the dozen or so remaining team members were all leaning against their cover, panting heavily.
Despair was written all over their faces.
Iron Fist stood at the entrance of the shopping mall, his body covered in a dense pattern of white bullet marks.
But he was completely unharmed.
He rolled his neck, producing a series of crisp cracks.
“Done shooting?”
He grinned, revealing a set of stark white teeth.
“Then now, it’s my turn.”
He took a step, walking toward Ah Hu and his men.
Each step felt like it was stomping on everyone’s heart.
Ah Hu gritted his teeth and pulled a dagger from his waist.
“Brothers.”
His voice was hoarse.
“Today, we might be meeting our end here.”
“But even in death, we have to let this bastard know that the people of Fragrant Hills International are not to be trifled with.”
The remaining team members drew their cold weapons one by one.
Fire axes, steel pipes, daggers.
They knew that in front of Iron Fist, these things were no different from toys.
But they had no way out.
Looking at these overreaching ants, a cruel smile appeared on Iron Fist’s face.
“Got some backbone.”
He raised his fist, which was larger than a casserole pot.
“Then I’ll grant you your wish.”
Just then.
A sound of something tearing through the air suddenly came from the sky.
Everyone subconsciously looked up.
And then, they saw it.
A white figure, descending from the heavens.
She wore a long white dress, her figure graceful.
Her jet-black hair flew in the wind.
She just floated there quietly in mid-air, looking down on the battlefield below.

In her arms, she held a man.
It was Zhou Ming.
“Lei… Lei-jie?”
Ah Hu’s eyes widened, his voice filled with disbelief.
The other team members were all dumbfounded as well.
Fly… she can fly?
Lei-jie can actually fly?
Iron Fist also looked up at the white figure in the sky.
His pupils contracted slightly.
“Another Evolved being?”
Lin Fan didn’t speak.
She simply released her hold on Zhou Ming.
Zhou Ming’s body paused in mid-air for a second, then was supported by an invisible force and gently lowered to the ground beside Ah Hu.
“Brother Hu!”
The moment he landed, Zhou Ming rushed to Ah Hu’s side.
“Are you guys okay?”
“We’re fine.” Ah Hu shook his head, his gaze fixed on Lin Fan in the air.
“Lei-jie is here. We’re saved.”
Lin Fan slowly descended.
Her silver high-heeled sandals tapped lightly on the ground.
She stood there, her white dress swaying in the wind.
Her gaze fell upon Iron Fist.
“You’re Iron Fist?”
Her voice was calm, betraying no emotion.
Iron Fist sized up the impossibly beautiful woman before him.
A flash of greed crossed his eyes.
“That’s right.”
He grinned.
“You’re the boss of Fragrant Hills International?”
“Looks like you’re much prettier than that bitch Fire Phoenix.”
He licked his lips.
“How about this, you come with me.”
“I promise, I’ll take good care of you.”
