You’re Dunce, Huh? – Part 07

The last day of winter break. I’d come back to the rink for another round of skating.

Haruna, Sera, and Eu were there, of course. So were Tomonori, Mihara, Hiramatsu, Orito, and Anderson.

Going out to have fun with classmates from different classes—without it being a school event—was something the old me could never have imagined.

We rented skates, and with an excited Haruna leading the charge, we headed for the rink.

Once we dropped off our bags, everyone hurried straight onto the ice. I couldn’t wait to get out there myself.

“Aikawa.”

Tomonori stood beside me, worry written all over her face.

“Don’t worry. Let’s show them what all that training was for.”

“Y-Yeah. I’m not scared anymore! Not when I’m with you.”

It wasn’t that childish grin of hers this time. It was the charming smile of a shy girl.

I stepped onto the rink with her.
