“That was perfect!”
When we got back to the dressing room, Haruna was already praising herself, her cowlick bouncing around. I stepped inside and glanced around at the backup dancers.
Yeah. Not a trace of remorse anywhere.
Then Saras—the star of tonight’s show—walked in. Her expression looked sharper than usual. Well, her concert had just turned into chaos. No surprise there.
Better let her do the scolding this time.
“Let them have it, Saras.”
She put her hands on her hips and stepped forward.
“Good work, everyone. I’ve done countless concerts before, but this was a first for me.”
I nodded along. She was right. You don’t often see a dance team that disorganized.
“It was incredible! I’ve never had this much fun before. Let’s do another show with this same team someday.”
She threw her arms wide, her face shining with delight.
“Concerts are the best!” Haruna shouted
