A visitor? That was unusual.

“Haruna, could you answer the door?”

She wasn’t budging from the cozy kotatsu.

“Haruna! Do you want burnt eggs or what?”

“Ugh, fine! I’m getting it.”

Sigh.

Soon after she dragged herself to the door, I heard a man’s voice.

“Hello!”

I just finished plating the scrambled eggs and peeked into the living room. Standing there was Anderson.

“Hey, Aikawa. Good morning.” He flashed a radiant, charming smile.

“Morning,” I replied, setting the dishes on the kotatsu. “It’s rare for you to come here.”

“I was worried about Eucliwood, and I see my concern was justified.”

Tall and slim like a model, he was a very handsome Underworlder with the face of a British prince. His foreign-looking features earned him the nickname Anderson.

“You said she’d be fine in a day, didn’t you?” I sighed, heading back to the kitchen to butter the toast.
