The following day, a fair number of people had gathered in the gymnasium of the nearby elementary school.

I didn’t expect this many spectators for a mere paper sumo tournament.

Almost all the participants were just kids.

To anyone looking, me and Sera could pass for guardians. But Haruna and Eu, both only about 145 centimeters tall with undeveloped chests and hips, could easily pass for elementary schoolers. They might even look like middle schoolers at first glance.

Pairs of one adult and one kid competed together. That meant I ended up entering with Eu.

I-I wasn’t doing this for nostalgia or anything, okay? I just couldn’t leave Haruna to whatever she might be up to.

I never imagined I’d compete in a kids’ tournament as a high school student. Hopefully, I wouldn’t run into anyone I knew.
