“Hey, Hiramatsu. Your underwear is in that dresser over there, right? Maybe separated into storage boxes or something?”

“Huh? Uh… yeah,” Hiramatsu said, her face turning red.

Mihara, reacting as fast as if we were playing rock-paper-scissors, rolled up her notebook and smacked me on the head.

“What the hell kind of question is that?!”

“Sorry. Yeah, that was completely tactless. I just thought that was what Orito was after.”

“I did think it was weird that he wanted to hold a study group,” Mihara said, folding her arms. She held the rolled-up notebook ready so she could hit me again at any moment.

“So maybe he’s stealing the underwear from somewhere else instead.”

“I doubt Orito would… go that far.”

What a nice girl.

Despite everyone assuming the worst, Hiramatsu still wanted to believe in Orito.

“I didn’t hear any footsteps coming up the stairs,” Tomonori muttered, straining
