Sometimes while broadcasting, there are questions I get.
-Do you have friends, dude??
Since I only broadcast after work every day, viewers often ask that.
As a viewer, they might want the VTuber they watch to have no friends and only do broadcasts.
Unfortunately, it's been 17 years of social life since I reincarnated. It's impossible not to have acquaintances.
Moreover, back when I was active as a child model.
Do you know what happens when someone with the soul of a mid-to-late 20s (real age) who has been through all sorts of odd jobs is among kids whose average age is about elementary school?
"Ahyun, where are you?"
"Ahyun! Come with me!"
Naturally, I become the center of that group.
Kids admire maturity and tend to follow it.
Of course, now they're into their own hobbies and have grown up, so it doesn't feel the same as before.
Still, there is such a thing as a tight-knit model network.
However, this time it's a slightly different friend.
"PD Jeong Unhyeon said that?"
"Yeah, well, he was chewing out the kid."
Lee Taejin, whom I'm meeting now, isn't a model but an elementary school classmate.
Well, you could say we're childhood friends.
"He's a person with good performance, but I didn't know he'd be like that. Sorry."
The place I arrived at after the call is a wine bar that Lee Taejin runs as a hobby.
It's a very private place with not a single customer around.
"Have a drink here."
He, with his black hair neatly slicked back and wearing a luxury suit, held out a glass, and I shrugged and took it.
Taejin's alcohol is always expensive, so getting it for free is always a win.
"You did well to leave the set."
"Well, it's not that I don't want to shoot. Just clean up the mess and set another date."
"That PD?"
"You said he has good performance?"
As long as he's skilled, that's fine.
Even scolding the staff, if he hadn't done it in front of me, I wouldn't have said anything.
" Hmm. "
At that, Taejin thought for a moment and then shook his head.
"No, I'll use someone else now."
"You said he's the director's younger brother?"
"I'm the chairman's grandson."
Saying that, Taejin sipped his glass.
Yes, Taejin is the youngest grandson of a chaebol family.
And he's the grandson of Lee Kang Group, which has the company that just canceled the ad as a subsidiary.
And he's also the president of that subsidiary.
That's why I was on the set to shoot an ad for that product.
The ink on the contract with Andel wasn't even dry yet, so why was I there?
It's not for any other reason—this friend asked me to shoot one ad, so I went.
He said if we release the ad to coincide with the official announcement of the contract with Andel, it would be quite effective or something.
Since it was a request from a friend who doesn't usually ask for favors, I gladly went.
But the director's younger brother had the title of general producer and was causing a scene on set.
So I was dumbfounded and stormed out.
"Well, let's stop talking about the shoot. Is it okay for you to be doing this on a weekday afternoon?"
"I just came out with the excuse of drinking."
Taejin, who answered my question calmly, keeps sipping his glass.
'Ah, now that I think about it, he was crazy about alcohol.'
As I looked at him in disbelief, Taejin put down his glass and turned his gaze.
"But you, you're coming this time, right?"
"Where?"
When I tilted my head, Taejin furrowed his brow.
A well-groomed chaebol 3rd generation furrowing his brow would be quite intimidating, but since I've seen him since he was a snot-nosed kid, I don't feel much.
"Ahyun and Co.."
"Oh."
Ahyun and Co.—now I get it.
Come to think of it, the group chat has been noisy lately.
"You made it, so come out sometimes. You're the group leader."
"Hey, that was ages ago."
It's a group made when we were elementary kids, so what does being the leader even mean?
Honestly, it's a wonder it's still going.
"And you guys do everything among yourselves, so what's a group leader?"
"Since the leader abandoned their duties, we're doing it among ourselves."
