My consciousness faded, tears flowing out both my eyes as I suddenly remembered everything.

I couldn’t see anything. I no longer had my own voice.

It was too late to remember it all, but I knew the words would come.

Then I opened my mouth. I needed to transmit my thoughts, my will.

“Marie, can you hear me?

“You’ve got a special power.

“My friend told me about it long ago.

“You need to say the name.

“I know she’ll save us all.

“Marie, I’m sorry I can’t be there with you.

“…Take care of everyone for me.”

Right at the very end, on the far end of my long-gone consciousness, I heard the words ring clear.
