THE CONFEDERACY

The Confederate States of the Greater Euraser Co-Prosperity Sphere is the militarily and economically stronger alliance of the two world orders, also founded by Sean Kennedy in 438. The Confederacy was formed as a successor to the Axis of the Second Calamity, consisting of eight nations, headquartered in Moskau, the administrative capital of the Federal Republic of the Rus. The Chairman of the Confederacy is elected by popular vote in the Confederate High Council, where each member is representative of every million citizens of the alliance. However, unlike the Commander-in-Chief of the AELON, the Chairman of the Confederacy does not wield absolute power over military matters, for they are left to the devices of the eight individual sovereign entities and their military advisors. Ever since its conception, none of the Confederacy’s member states have engaged in intra-alliance conflicts and have only strived to improve their standard of living and technology. Because of these factors in its fifty years of existence, the Confederacy has enjoyed peace, stability, unity, and legitimacy, qualities that the AELON has tried and failed to achieve.
