BOHEMEN (BEUIESKO)
BOHEMEN (BEUIESKO)
The Crown of Bohemen is referred to as Beuiesko in the Bohemer dialect. Bohemen has been a land of warriors since time immemorial, and it was one of Europen’s largest tribes, competing with the Romer's expansion. During the Middle Ages, it became a centre of cultural exchange and academics, with universities, roads, cities, and mines being built at an astonishing rate that was enviable to her neighbours, who, even with brute force, were unable to rob the wealth from the region, which was defended by a mountain range that surrounded three-quarters of the country. However, it fell from grace just as quickly as it rose. The landlocked kingdom fell behind in the race to the New World and beyond, and it was forever trapped under the rule of growing adversaries, surrounded on all sides and subjected to countless invasions. Its reliance on old feudal systems, such as the peasant levy, and a lack of social mobility have made the kingdom’s military, political, and social issues thorns in the Crown’s side, and they are unlikely to be resolved.
