Chapter 114: The Maid
Chapter 114: The Maid
After leaving Gulan Town, the group spurred their horses on, crossing one high mountain after another. Only at dusk did they set up camp in a hidden valley.
After a tiring day, the Knights were extremely exhausted, and not long after nightfall, they one by one fell asleep. In the first half of the night, Randolph personally kept watch in the camp, while in the second half, he was replaced by triangle-faced Saliel, who had gone to sleep first. The Wasteland was full of dangers; although traps had been set around the camp, the Knights still did not dare to be careless.
“After killing a Holy Step Necromancer, will I be promoted to Knight Commander or receive a piece of territory upon returning to Glory Castle?”
Saliel yawned. At first, he walked back and forth vigilantly, but later, he simply sat down in a dark corner and leaned against a big tree to rest. Thinking of the Necromancer who died by his hand, he could not help but feel a burst of pride, looking forward to the benefits he would receive after returning to Glory Castle.
Killing an evil Necromancer could be considered an unexpected gain from this trip. The only unpleasant thing was encountering Hu Feng, a mere low-ranking Divine Official. With his status and strength as a Glory Knight, not only did he fail to suppress Hu Feng, but he was repeatedly made to lose face by him.
That feeling was very unpleasant!
“Why not take the opportunity to find a way to secretly kill him on the road?”
Thinking of Hu Feng, who repeatedly made him lose face, Saliel gritted his teeth in hatred, and a dark thought suddenly rose in his mind. At first, he was a bit uneasy, afraid that others would see through his thoughts, so he looked around. Soon, the more he thought about it, the more excited he became, unable to stop, and he closed his eyes and began to ponder.
A Divine Official had an extraordinary status within the Divine Court; assassinating a Divine Official was undoubtedly a capital offense. But the Wasteland was dangerous everywhere; secretly murdering a low-ranking Divine Official with little strength was simply too easy. As long as no one knew and there was no evidence, then nothing would happen.
Although he had already slept, after working all day, Saliel, who got up for the midnight watch, was still listless. At first, he just wanted to close his eyes and rest, pondering how to make a move against that Divine Official Hu Feng, but as he thought, he started snoring and unknowingly fell asleep again. He dreamed of tying up that fellow Hu Feng’s limbs and crushing his finger bones bit by bit; the resentment accumulated over many days finally erupted.
In the middle of the night, gusts of cool wind blew through the valley, and the tired Knights all began to snore one after another. However, just then, a young woman wearing a white robe quietly appeared. After confirming that the guard Saliel was also asleep, she walked lightly to Hu Feng’s tent, twisting her high and perky buttocks to lift the curtain and enter.
“Lord!”
Nun Bella gracefully came before Hu Feng and bowed respectfully.
As the only confidante beside Elder Aurora, she was very intelligent and knew what should be said and what should not be said. Seeing Hu Feng unfurl his massive Dark Wings and use the Great Devour Technique to kill Elder Aurora, then transform, turning his massive Death Aura into a faint holy aura and returning to the appearance of a small Divine Official, she knew that Divine Official Hu Feng was not simple.
“You are very smart!”
Hu Feng sat cross-legged on the ground with a calm expression, showing no joy or anger, and looked indifferently at the beautiful Nun before him. Between smart people, there was no need to beat around the bush. The reason he did not hesitate to offend Saliel to save Bella naturally had his purpose. As expected, Nun Bella did not disappoint him; she walked in on her own in the middle of the night.
“Bella only has some small cleverness; Lord, you possess true great wisdom!”
Bella prostrated herself respectfully before Hu Feng. “Thank you, Lord, for saving me. If there is anything you need, please just give the order.”
There was no such thing as a free lunch in this world. Bella understood very well that Hu Feng, who on the surface was a low-ranking Divine Official but in reality was a Great Demon Head, would never save her without a purpose. Kindness, sympathy, adhering to principles… if he were a true Divine Official, those reasons might be possible; but for a Great Demon Head lurking inside the Divine Court, it was absolutely impossible.
Seeing that Nun Bella was so sensible, Hu Feng nodded, knowing he had chosen the right person. “Bella, do you know why I saved you?”
“There is a basement in the Monastery that hides quite a few Crystals and herbs, but I think… perhaps my Lord would not care about these.” Looking at the expressionless Hu Feng, a trace of unease rose in Bella’s heart.
Her greatest skill was observing expressions and guessing other people’s thoughts; otherwise, she would not have been promoted from an ordinary Nun to Elder Aurora’s only confidante. But at this moment, she discovered that she could not see through Hu Feng’s thoughts at all. “Lord, the Eye of Destruction that Elder Aurora cultivated was actually a treasure originally belonging to a Divine Official who came to our Monastery back then. Elder Aurora spent a lot of effort to slowly get her hands on it.”
Bella spoke while looking into Hu Feng’s eyes, stopping at the right point, saying only half the words and deliberately holding back a trump card. After thinking it over, only Elder Aurora’s true secret could possibly tempt this Great Demon Head, Hu Feng.
“I know; that was a Great Divine Official named Hassel.” Hu Feng smiled faintly, seeing through Bella’s little trick instantly. He looked at her and slowly continued, “For a powerful Lich King, it is too simple to plunder a person’s memory or control their consciousness. Bella, you are smart and know what to do and what not to do. Don’t let your little cleverness end up hurting you.”
Lich King?
Bella trembled in her heart, thinking of the overwhelming Death Aura when Hu Feng killed Elder Aurora, and her body could not help but shiver with fear.
In legends, the most insidious and evil Lich among the Undead!
Curses were their talent, and Soul control was their infamous weapon. Hearing Hu Feng say the name of Divine Official Hassel, Bella did not doubt that he had completely plundered Elder Aurora’s power and memory. The more she thought, the more uneasy she became. She did not know what else she could use to trade, nor what she could use to save herself, except… her body!
Looking at Hu Feng’s tall and burly body, full of a sunny aura, Bella’s heart moved, and she suddenly thought of a final method.
She stood up and gave a light pull; the robe on her body fell with the wind, revealing a fair and plump body. She took two steps forward, knelt gracefully before Hu Feng, and slowly lowered her beautiful face. From top to bottom, the young woman’s curvy figure was fully exposed; her slender waist and high, perky buttocks formed a sharp contrast.
“Lord, under Elder Aurora’s control, the Monastery was very dark, but Bella is still pure. I am willing to offer my purity and Soul to the Lord and stay by your side forever as your maid!”
Although she was still a virgin, after so many years in the Monastery, there was nothing Bella hadn’t seen; she knew how to please a man and how to achieve her goals. Over the years, to keep her purity in that evil Monastery, she had tried countless methods. She hadn’t expected that just as she escaped the wolf’s den, she fell into a tiger’s trap, and in the end, she still had to lose it.
The only difference was that in the past, to fall into depravity meant she would have to serve many men. Now, to fall into depravity, there was only one man she needed to serve!
“Mmm… very good, Bella. I didn’t expect your mouth could do more than just talk. However, before you truly become my maid, there is one more thing you need to do.” Hu Feng pressed his hand on Nun Bella’s head.
Only a holy Nun could infiltrate the holy land in the hearts of believers—Bright Summit. Before the Saintess was fully groomed, Bella’s virgin body was still of great use.
“Lord, please give your order!”
Bella paused, took a deep breath, feeling secretly uneasy, not understanding what else awaited her.
“Cinia is the Candidate Saintess of the Western Wasteland, and she has an ancient Life Goddess Soul Imprint within her body. It is very likely that she will become a true Saintess in the near future.” Hu Feng spoke concisely, then continued, “Your task is to stay by Cinia’s side and assist her in finally ascending to the throne of the Saintess.”
Saintess?
Bella trembled all over and suddenly realized. She finally understood why Elder Aurora, who always refused entry to outsiders, suddenly ordered to let Hu Feng and others in after seeing Nun Cinia; she finally understood why Hu Feng saved her life at the critical moment.
To plot against a Saintess, how evil, how audacious was that?
After understanding Hu Feng’s purpose, Bella was shocked and felt a bitterness in her heart. Just now, she said he had great wisdom and great cleverness; she didn’t expect that this evil Lich, Hu Feng, far exceeded her imagination in both evil and audacity.
“Elder Aurora, you died unjustly!”
Bella said silently in her heart, no longer having any thought of resisting the Hu Feng sitting before her, letting him leave a deep Soul Imprint in the depths of her mind. She used her hands and mouth to serve him even more diligently. She had a strong premonition that knowing this powerful Lich, Hu Feng, might be the biggest turning point in her life. In her daze, she didn’t notice a faint black mist seeping out from the Demon Hunter Card in Hu Feng’s hand, turning into a human shape and drilling out of the tent, quickly disappearing.
While Hu Feng was enjoying a Nun’s service in the tent, not far away under a big tree, Saliel was curled up under the tree having a sweet dream.
In the dream, after ruthlessly torturing that fellow Hu Feng, he dreamed of the beautiful Nun Cinia again. While laughing loudly, he pulled the thin robe on her body. Just as he was about to turn over and press on her, suddenly his neck felt cold, and a gust of Yin wind penetrated his skin and seeped deep into his bone marrow, freezing him into a shiver. After opening his groggy eyes and cursing a few times, he was about to continue his unfinished wet dream when, out of the corner of his eye, he suddenly saw a familiar figure standing behind him.
Dressed in black, with a skinny body, a face full of evil smiles, and surrounded by green phosphorescent fire…
Necromancer?
Saliel, who was sleeping in a daze, shivered all over, and his Soul Scattered and Spirit Dissipated.
