Chapter 130: How Can Someone Be So Shameless
Chapter 130: How Can Someone Be So Shameless
Spotting an opportunity, Saliel deliberately slowed down to walk alongside Commander Randolph, who was bringing up the rear. Looking around, he lowered his voice and whispered, “Lord Randolph, there is a traitor in our team.”
A traitor?
Randolph was startled and instinctively pulled on his warhorse’s reins, looking suspiciously at the secretive Saliel. Although he had always been dissatisfied with this cowardly guy, Saliel was, after all, a partner on the mission, so on the surface, he couldn’t treat him too coldly.
“Hu Feng, it’s that detestable Divine Official, Hu Feng!”
Saliel had a ferocious look on his face. After glancing at the carriage ahead, he continued in a low voice, “Lord Randolph, think about it. Since we left Cold Moon City, how many things have happened? How did that Necromancer get the news? And why did we run into that evil Elder Aurora in Gulan Town? All of this is not that simple! Among us, apart from Hu Feng, whose background is unknown, who else would betray us?”
Thinking it over, Saliel blamed all his resentment on Hu Feng.
Originally, he wanted to say that Abbas was not killed by him, but that he had run into his blade himself, and that Hu Feng had secretly meddled. But thinking about it, that seemed impossible to explain, and no one would believe it, so he had no choice but to give up.
“Oh, what about the evidence? Saliel, what evidence do you have?” Randolph was noncommittal and lost in thought.
“Intuition!”
Seeing that Commander Randolph seemed to believe him, Saliel got excited. “Lord Randolph, my intuition is always very accurate. I believe all of this was definitely caused by that Divine Official, Hu Feng.”
“Saliel, this is just your own guess. As a Glory Knight, you should understand that slandering a Divine Official based on your own guess is a capital offense!” Randolph shook his head, no longer interested in listening. He whipped his sturdy mount forcefully and rode his tall warhorse forward, leaving the resentful Saliel behind.
“Hmph, a capital offense?”
Looking at Randolph riding away, Saliel let out a cold snort.
During this mission, he had become a complete cripple, and the Knight Commander’s reward and territory were destined to have nothing to do with him. Having fallen to such a state, everything had lost its meaning to him, leaving only overwhelming resentment. He wouldn’t let others have it easy while he suffered. Since Commander Randolph didn’t believe him, once they returned to Glory Castle, he would surely find someone to punish Hu Feng.
“What an idiot!”
Sensing Saliel’s resentment toward him, Hu Feng, who was sitting cross-legged on the carriage, gave a cold smile.
Saliel’s voice was very low, but while it could fool the Nun Cinia inside the carriage, how could it fool him, the powerful Lich King?
Originally, seeing that this guy Saliel had suffered enough and learned a profound lesson, he had planned to let it go and not hold it against him. Unexpectedly, this guy was incorrigible. At this point, instead of keeping his tail between his legs and behaving, he was still dreaming of harming him. What an idiot!
After night fell, everyone set up camp to rest on a hillside. To take care of the injured Saliel, he was specifically exempted from night watch duty, and a small tent was even set up for him.
After bumping on horseback all day, the tense knights quickly fell asleep. Around midnight, while the knight on guard wasn’t paying attention, a graceful figure silently entered Hu Feng’s tent once again.
“Lord!”
Nun Bella bowed respectfully, smiled charmingly, and gently moved behind Hu Feng to rub his shoulders. Her firm peaks pressed tightly against Hu Feng’s back. Although separated by a layer of nun’s robe, the firmness and warmth were still clearly palpable. Having stayed in the evil Monastery in Gulan Town for so long, although Bella had not fallen, she knew exactly how to serve a man.
“Mmm… Bella, you’ve lost weight!”
Hu Feng lifted Bella’s robe and gently stroked her long, slender legs. They were fair, delicate, and full of elasticity. After stroking for a moment, he pushed her head down with one hand. The ravishing Bella was undoubtedly a rare gem; he wished he could devour her in one bite. Unfortunately, to infiltrate the sacred Bright Summit and complete the Saintess Cultivation Plan, he had to maintain his purity. Now was not the time!
“Lord, it seems… Saliel is a bit dissatisfied with you?”
Bella gasped for breath, leaning almost her entire body against Hu Feng. Her face was flushed, and her eyes were glazed over.
At first, she felt strong humiliation and an instinctive rejection in her heart, but on the surface, she had to comply. She didn’t know when it started, but she gradually got used to it and even began to enjoy it. While blaming herself for her depravity, she fully enjoyed that feeling of fullness.
“Saliel?”
Hu Feng smiled disdainfully, reached out to hold Bella’s beautiful hair, and continued, “He’s just a clown. Even after suffering so much, he never learns. He’s looking for death!”
Recalling Saliel’s resentful look, Hu Feng shook his head and whispered a few words in Bella’s ear. Soon, she turned and left.
Tired from the journey, the knights slept soundly. In the latter half of the night, it was Commander Randolph’s turn to stand guard. To be safe, he personally held his sharp sword and walked around the edge of the camp, vigilantly watching the surroundings. Unfortunately, under the cover of night, he didn’t notice a trace of black thread seeping out of Hu Feng’s tent, silently drilling into the tent where Saliel was, and quickly disappearing. Soon, a figure emerged from the tent. Taking advantage of Randolph’s distraction, it darted into a tent not far away with just a few leaps. Its movements were fast as lightning, but its legs were stiff and straight, and its joints seemed somewhat rigid.
“Ahhh…”
A scream suddenly pierced the silence of the camp.
Randolph, who was on guard, was shocked. He rushed into the tent where the sound came from like the wind. Seeing the scene before him, he was furious.
The tall Nun Bella was in disarray, covering her high chest with one hand while shrinking into the corner of the tent in terror. Her spotless robe had a piece torn off at the chest, revealing a patch of tender white skin and a deep cleavage. Standing in front of her was a bare-chested guy holding a strip of cloth. It was none other than the triangle-faced Saliel, who had been sleeping nearby!
The sudden scream woke all the knights, who rushed over in unison. Seeing the scene before them, their faces darkened.
Seeing the figure of Cinia, the Candidate Saintess, Bella’s eyes turned red. She threw herself into Cinia’s arms and sobbed, “Cinia, Saliel, he… he is not human!”
Beast!
Looking at the scene, there was no need for words; everyone understood what had happened. They looked coldly at the outrageous Saliel. As holy Glory Knights, they felt deeply ashamed to have such a companion. Before, they thought Saliel was just a coward and selfish, but they didn’t expect him to be so shameless!
To profane a holy nun in the middle of the night was definitely a grave crime. According to the laws of the Divine Court and the Monastery, he could be tied to a Burning Stake and burned alive like a Heretic!
“Saliel, do you have anything to say for yourself?”
Looking at the shameless Saliel, Randolph’s face turned iron-gray as he raised the longsword in his hand.
“No, Lord Randolph, I didn’t…”
Saliel was confused. It wasn’t until the knights rushed in with swords in hand that he trembled all over and suddenly woke up. Looking at everything before him, his mind went blank. He pinched his thigh hard with his right hand, only then confirming that he wasn’t dreaming.
What an injustice!
He was clearly sleeping in his tent, so how did he suddenly appear here and do such a thing?
Saliel couldn’t figure it out. Looking at the knights’ livid faces, he was so depressed he could go crazy. However, he was holding a strip of cloth torn from Bella, and there were even scratch marks on her chest, with traces of her blood on his fingertips. For a moment, even if he was eloquent, he didn’t know how to defend himself.
To say he knew nothing, or that it was a misunderstanding—who would believe that?
Even he wouldn’t believe it. Saliel’s heart sank lower and lower!
“Saliel, do you have any last words? Do you have any family?”
Randolph’s tone was calm, but a trace of sorrow appeared on his face. He didn’t expect such a shameless person to be mixed into the team; this was his failure. Fortunately, no irreparable mistake had been made, otherwise, he would never forgive himself. If Saliel had snuck into Candidate Saintess Cinia’s tent and succeeded, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
Looking at Commander Randolph’s eyes, Saliel felt a chill run through his body. He understood the meaning of those words, and his body couldn’t help but shudder. After becoming a cripple, although he felt everything was meaningless, when it came to life and death, the instinct to survive surged up. “Lord Randolph, I didn’t, I really didn’t. I don’t know how I suddenly appeared here, I really don’t know!”
Towards the end, Saliel’s voice turned into a pleading. He really didn’t know; he was truly wronged! Unfortunately, all pleas and defenses seemed even more shameless to the knights! The determined Randolph was even less moved. He stepped forward and slashed down fiercely with his sword.
“Wait!”
Just when Saliel thought he was going to die, Hu Feng suddenly stepped out and blocked Randolph’s gleaming longsword. “Lord Randolph, fellow knights, I think this might really be a misunderstanding. I know Saliel. Although his character is a bit… lacking, he wouldn’t be shameless to this extent. Sometimes, when a person is seriously injured or ill, their spirit becomes very weak, and they do unexpected things in their dreams. I think Saliel is likely in this situation. He thought too much about things during the day, so he started dreaming at night!”
Sleepwalking?
Hearing Hu Feng’s words, Randolph nodded, his expression softening a lot. After thinking for a moment, he whispered a few words to a knight, glanced disdainfully at Saliel, and turned away. Soon, a knight took out a pair of Magic Shackles and cuffed the struggling Saliel, who didn’t dare to struggle too hard.
To save Saliel some face, Hu Feng spoke vaguely, but the meaning was clear. If this guy Saliel hadn’t been thinking about those dirty thoughts all day, how could he have done such a thing to a nun in his dream? His death sentence could be avoided, but he couldn’t be let off. They prepared to escort him back to Glory Castle to be judged by the Great Divine Official. After looking at him with disdain, everyone left one by one.
“Sigh… how can a person be so shameless!”
Looking at Saliel, who was shirtless and shivering from the cold outside the tent, Hu Feng shook his head pretentiously and turned away.
Sometimes, killing an opponent is not the most satisfying way to get revenge!
