Chapter 11: I Don't Want to Wear a Dress.

Wen Yu trembled and tried to shrink back, but the man's leg forcefully pressed between his thighs.

"Isn't it weird for us to be this close?"

So fair and soft...

Gu Junhan's gaze fell on the phone clutched in Wen Yu's hand, the screen still showing the ride-hailing order interface. "Do you have money to go to the mall?"

Wen Yu obediently nodded. "Are you going to take me?"

He's learning to make requests now.

Gu Junhan was quite pleased. "Sure."

The mall's air conditioning was on full blast, mixed with the scent of high-end perfume. As soon as Wen Yu got out of the car, the back of his neck felt like a venomous snake was coiled around it. He turned around and found Gu Junhan following closely behind him.

Wen Yu walked into a dazzling area where lights gleamed off exquisite leather goods and jewelry. Instinctively, he clutched at the hem of his clothes, afraid of accidentally damaging something expensive.

Gu Junhan followed with long strides, his gaze heavy and locked on him.

"Why did you stop?"

Wen Yu stopped, pointing ahead awkwardly. "Thanks for the ride... I'll just browse on my own."

Within seconds, the mall's general manager came rushing over, sweating profusely. Dressed in a suit but looking rather flustered, he nearly bent at a ninety-degree angle the moment he saw Gu Junhan.

"Why have you come? I wasn't here to welcome you, my apologies, my apologies..."

Gu Junhan didn't even bat an eye, his tone indifferent. "Bored. Just checking in on work."

The general manager nodded submissively, waving away the security guards who wanted to follow, while he himself trailed far behind.

Wen Yu watched, his brain completely short-circuiting.

Just checking on work?

His clear eyes blinked innocently, his gaze shifting back and forth between Gu Junhan's sharply defined face and the manager bowing and scraping in the distance.

"Do you work at the mall? What do you do? Sell clothes?"

Wen Yu was rambling a bit—a man like Gu Junhan, who controlled the economic lifelines of two continents, could hardly be some ordinary low-level employee.

The man's indifferent footsteps came to an abrupt halt.

The air instantly froze.

The general manager behind him was so scared his legs went weak, and he nearly dropped to his knees.

Gu Junhan slowly turned around, those sinister eyes narrowing slightly, sweeping over the boy's innocent face inch by inch, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"Yeah, I sell clothes. So, can you help me hit my sales quota?"

"Sure," Wen Yu said, but the more he thought about it, the more something felt off. He shook his head. "Then why do you have such a huge house?"

"It's rented."

"What about the diamond-encrusted toilet at home?"

"That's rented too."

"Then what about what I heard your family say before—that you're a ruthless crime boss?"

"We were playing a role-playing murder mystery game."

Gu Junhan lied without so much as a blink, as if he were teasing a kitten.

"Don't you have servants at home? How do you explain that one?" Wen Yu pressed on.

Beside them, the mall's general manager felt cold sweat drip down his temples.

His boss, who never showed any emotion, was currently pretending to be poor!!!

The general manager caught on immediately, suppressing his terror, puffing out his chest, putting on a stern face, and switching to a snobbish, condescending attitude.

"Manager Gu, do you think you're still the big boss?"

"You're just bankrupt—all that show is rented. Go sell your clothes!"

Wen Yu was stunned, his eyes wide as saucers. Gu Junhan was so pathetic.

But he'd clearly seen his phone with gold trim.

Oh well—the phone must be rented too.

Wen Yu forced himself to buy that logic.

Wen Yu suddenly stepped forward, shielding Gu Junhan behind him like a protective little tiger, glaring at the general manager and shouting, "You're not allowed to bully him!"

Gu Junhan smiled from the sidelines.

He could believe all this. If I forced him, would he still believe I was just messing around?

"Alright, you can leave now," Gu Junhan said to the general manager.

The general manager snorted, still playing his part. "Fine, go do your job."

Gu Junhan tricked Wen Yu into the clothing section.

The moment they entered the store, the cold air mixed with the rich scent of roses rushed at them.

The saleswomen inside, dressed in neat uniforms, lit up the instant they saw Gu Junhan's face. They were about to approach when a single look from him stopped them in their tracks.

"We'll look on our own. Don't follow us."

Though confused, the saleswomen obediently retreated behind the cash register.

Wen Yu walked straight toward the dress section.

"This... this is the women's section!"

Seeing those flowing, lace-layered dresses, Wen Yu's face flushed red to his ears, and he started backing away. "Did you bring me to the wrong place?"

"No, I didn't." Gu Junhan casually took down a pure white slip dress, holding it up against the boy to measure, his gaze turning deep and dark. "This one would suit you perfectly."

Wen Yu felt a chill run down his neck.

"I'm not wearing that!" He nearly jumped out of his skin, turning to run.

Gu Junhan was quick to react, stretching out a long arm to pull the guy back. He lowered his head, his nose nearly grazing Wen Yu's, "One dress, and I'll get a fat commission."

"Come on, help me out here."

Wen Yu snapped out of it, "Wait, you'll actually get a commission? Then I'll help you, but after this, let's not get too close. We're just friends, nothing more."

"Fine." Gu Junhan leaned against the wall outside the fitting room, his slender fingers tapping idly on the Patek Philippe on his wrist, "I'll be waiting outside."

A few minutes later, the curtain of the fitting room was gently pulled open.

The young man shuffled out awkwardly, his face flushed like a ripe apple.

The white dress fit him surprisingly well, the cinched waist showing off his figure, the hem brushing his ankles.

It was like the dress was made just for him.

Wen Yu's delicate, gender-bending beauty was even more striking.

"How... how do I look?" Wen Yu kept his eyes down, afraid to look at himself in the mirror, his fingers nervously fidgeting with the hem of the dress.

Gu Junhan stared at him, his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed hard.

"You're beautiful."

"I'll take this one. No, scratch that—I'll take the whole collection."

Wen Yu's head shot up, looking at him in a panic: "Wait, aren't I the one buying it to boost your sales?"

"And didn't you say you were only buying one?"

"Yeah." Gu Junhan chuckled. "But I changed my mind."

You're my commission. I want to buy you, take you home, hide you away, and keep you all to myself.

Wen Yu's pale thighs caught Gu Junhan's eye. The man's gaze dropped, and Wen Yu squirmed under the look.

"Gu... Gu Junhan..."

Wen Yu called his name, but Gu Junhan kept staring hungrily at his waist and stomach.

Then the man said coolly, "Wen Yu,"

"This one is too conservative." Gu Junhan's tone was tinged with disdain. "It's a shame to cover up your waist and abs."

The man waved over a sales associate. "Have him try that one on."

Gu Junhan pointed to a crop top and a skirt so short it barely covered his hips.

Wen Yu's face went bright red. This time, he was too slow to react.

Gu Junhan's easygoing attitude didn't scream "broke."

He was being played.

Wen Yu clutched tightly at Gu Junhan's sleeve, his voice trembling: "Are you lying to me? You didn't go bankrupt. You deliberately made me wear a dress."

Gu Junhan, having been seen through, showed no annoyance. The man said, "So you've figured it out. If you take the card I gave you and buy all these clothes, I won't make you wear this one."

Gu Junhan was domineering and overbearing. He wanted Wen Yu to learn to use his money, to love his money.

Then he'd spoil him until he was useless, unable to leave him.

"Is this how all you CEOs treat your friends?" Wen Yu asked.

"But today is my birthday, and you didn't prepare a gift either," Gu Junhan's deep voice whispered in his ear, "Can't you just make me happy?"

Wen Yu hadn't brought the card with him. He looked at Gu Junhan innocently, "The card is at my place."

"That's a pity, little treasure." Gu Junhan's voice sent chills down one's spine, "How about just wearing it for a look?"

Wen Yu's lips trembled, but he couldn't utter a word, on the verge of tears, "I don't want to wear it. It's too embarrassing."

Seeing Wen Yu's pitiful expression, Gu Junhan's voice softened, "Alright, you have my contact info on your phone. If you don't want to wear it outside, send me a photo when you get home."

"Wrap it up." Gu Junhan ordered.

Wen Yu couldn't refuse. It seemed like friends should be open with each other, but he felt that Gu Junhan as a friend was truly strange.

Do city folks make their friends wear dresses for them?

Gu Junhan's house was enormous, more than ten times the size of the Wen family's old residence.

If the Wen family was wealthy, then this man was a conglomerate tycoon.
