Chapter Two: The Vibrating Secret .

The afternoon sun lit up the quiet lecture hall . The teacher was teaching while half the class doodled in their notebooks or just stared out the window.

Abbeer Malhotra, tall and calm, sat at the last bench, pretending to listen but keeping a hand over his pencil box - his phone was hidden right beneath it.

Reet Rathod, cute and a little mischievous, sat a few benches ahead. Her notebook was angled just right to keep her own phone out of sight.

Bzzzz... Bzzzz...

Both their phones vibrated.

Abbeer pressed his palm over the box, glancing down.

Reet carefully peeked at her screen under her notebook.

"Maa calling..."

She pressed the silent button.

Bzzzz... Bzzzz...

More vibrations. Five calls. Six.

Their faces changed. The tension was real now.

They didn't say a word. They didn't look at each other this time.

Without asking for permission, both stood up from their seats and walked toward the door. The teacher blinked at them but didn't stop them - maybe he was too lost in motion diagrams.

Outside in the corridor, the sunlight felt harsher.

They walked in opposite directions, both pulling out their phones the moment they were out of sight.

📱 Phone Call - Reet and Her Parents (Hindi Dialogue)

Reet:

"Maa? Aapne itni baar call kyu kiya?"

Reet's Mom (tense voice):

"Reet beta, tu jaldi ghar aa ja. Hum bahut bimaar hain. Tumhe wapas aana padega."

Reet:

"Mujhe abhi kaise aana hoga? Exam bhi toh aane wale hain-"

Reet's Dad (in background):

"Keh do use, humari tabiyat bahut kharaab hai. Bahane nahi chalenge."

Reet's Mom (pretending to cry):

"Beta, please. Bas aa ja na. Hum wait kar rahe hain."

Reet (softly):

"Thik hai... main kal nikal jaungi."

📱 Phone Call - Abbeer and His Parents (Hindi Dialogue)

Abbeer:

"Maa, kya hua? Sab thik hai?"

Abbeer's Mom (fake cough):

"Beta... hum dono ki tabiyat bahut kharaab hai. Tumhe ghar aana padega."

Abbeer:

"Lekin exams... main kaise-"

Abbeer's Dad (firm tone):

"Kuch nahi suna jaayega. Tum bas kal ghar aajao."

Abbeer:

"Thik hai... main kal nikalta hoon."

Parents' Secret Call - Hidden Truth

That evening...

Reet's Father dialed Abbeer's Father.

Reet's Dad:

"Haan ji, Reet ko bol diya. Kal tak ghar pahuch jaayegi."

Abbeer's Dad:

"Hamara bhi aaraha hai. Bilkul waise hi kaha - bimaar hain."

Reet's Mom:

"Bachpan se rishtedaar hain... ab baat pakki karne ka waqt aa gaya."

Abbeer's Mom (smiling):

"Bas, inhe kuch samajh nahi aaye... tab tak sab taiyar kar lete hain."

They all laughed - calm, collected, and completely prepared for a twist the kids didn't see coming.

🏠 That Night...

Reet lay in her bed, eyes fixed on the ceiling fan, thoughts racing in circles.

Abbeer stood by his window, looking out at the moon - unsure of what was coming, but knowing something had changed.
